  • Hi Cruisers, Come along with us as we interview the conductor of our White Pass & Yukon railway train. If you've ever wondered about the life of a train conductor, or you are just interested in more information about this fascinating and historical railroad you'll want to watch this video. You'll get to hear about how this particular conductor found his calling and ended up working the beautiful White Pass & Yukon Route. This is a popular cruise excursion that starts off in lovely Skagway. You'll also get to hear some of the incredible stories behind the making of this railroad, how it has withstood the weather and the test of time, and the wonderful things it brings to Skagway and the surrounding Alaska communities.

This is a very impressive interview. It helps so much to have a skilled interviewer, but the subject, the person and the topic, are also so natural for a great profile piece. I'm not sure how I missed this CruiseTipsTV video in the past, but this is insight into such a scenic and important view of SE Alaska is probably one of the best I've seen in a long time. If this video doesn't sell you on going on an Alaska cruise, I'm not sure what will.

My son is autistic and Loves trains. His name is Zachary and the overhead announcer was also a Zachary. My Zach was able to get pictures with both! Made our day!

Great video Sheri! During the past couple weeks, you and Scott Singer have definitely raised my interest in an Alaska cruise. My wife and I attended a HAL presentation in our community this week sponsored by a local travel agent that furthered this desire. It is now on the bucket list, thanks!
