Hello Jonathan!!!! The best thing about tool lovers is we all enjoy a good tool and being in the shop away from all the craziness outside! LOL Thanks so much!!!!!!! =)
These things are cool, I think this is twice you have shown me a tool I didn't know I wanted. The pliers seem like a smart design, I wonder why nobody makes them anymore.
Hello ARA! These were so well made that I wonder if they could make the same ones today and not charge $60! Hard to find a market for these but they are interesting!! Thanks very much!!!
The locking action looks so smooth now I wonder why they never caught on. Vice grips (or Mole grips in the UK) have their place but these look so simple it is strange that they never got popular. Great video as always.
Those might have been really handy fitting all the flight and engine control cables on WW2 aircraft. The ability to quickly grab and hold a cable to anchor it and then having the leverage to nip the excess off would be a real help if you were doing that job all day long in a confined space like the cockpit.
Hey ScoutCrafter! Well, I received my Lock Line pliers today, and they are in very good shape. They open and close very smoothly. The thing is, I can’t get them to lock on to anything! Either I’m doing something wrong, or maybe despite being seemingly well lubed, maybe something is seized internally. Any ideas that could help me out? I appreciate it!
I have a similar situation with mine. If I squeeze hard on a quarter, for example, then grab from the quarter the whole weight of the pliers and wiggle the pliers from it and it comes loose instantly. However, if I squeeze on something much thicker like half an inch, it then sort of "locks" with the proportional squeeze force for it bit before coming loose again. I believe it's just worn in too much and has distorted the effective geometry to make it behave like in the video? I really wish there could be some fix.
Hello TD! I guess while some people might like some fancy clothes or expensive cars, we just get a kick out of the tools that make things! =) Thanks!!!!!!
Nice restoration. This had to be one of the easiest, very little rust and only a Dremel, some penetrating fluid and lubricant. Good job. I love when you give the history of the tool.
Hello Frank!! This job was a dream! I didn't do a grind/polish because the original finish was intact and this tool is somewhat rare.. If it was really rusted and damaged I would have gone all the way but this one is nice enough and rare enough! LOL Thanks very much!!!!
Interesting Pliers! You probably know me enough by now to know that I'll come up with a way to use an unusual tool! That one can be used to hold laundry on a 5/8th inch braided steel cable!! Problem is, you might need a couple of dozen per load of wash!! Great Video!! And GREAT refurb!!
Hello my friend, nice set of pliers, will have to look for a set. Was really hoping for a full restore in that I mean a cleanup and polish those are something for the wall, not to be used daily. Anyway, good video as usual. See you next time.
Hello Abdulah! Whenever I get a tool that is somewhat rare or might have some historical value I try my best to keep it as original as possible... If this tool was rusty or damaged I would have gone all the way but the original finish was still pretty nice so I forced myself to leave it on! =) Thanks so much!!!!
Nice job again! I suspect the advantage over Vice Grips is you don't have to adjust them to fit different sized targets, but I suspect someone else may have thought of that ahead of me! LOL.
Nifty pliers! I really like that you tell the history and show the paperwork behind these tools! Shows your great interest and love for tools. I bet you have little pieces of wire coat hangers all over your shop! Lol. Was using the Dremel all it needed to free it up?
After watching your earlier videos I went out and bought the fluids for all the concoctions. Did the 50/50 ATF & acetone first then the 50/50 oil & grease. That one was tough and messy to get it thin enough but worked great on my C-clamps. Still have to do the 50/50 MMO & grease. Thanks again👍
Hi Steve! Depending on the oil you might have to tweak the mix ratio i.e.- 60/40 as you did! Te stuff is great! You have to try the Vaseline/Mineral oil mix! Makes a great tool protector!!!!! Thanks!!!!!!!!
Hello Scott!!!! The Plierench was a tool that I really feel was still useful, these pliers are just so specialized I don't know if you will use them... However I know that you do like cool and unusual tools!!!! LOL I paid $20 for these on ebay... (Because they were locked up) normally they go a little more... Thanks very much!!!!
Cool pliers. I wish I had a pair. Never seen them before. Love that leverage with such short handles. BTW: Do you wear eye protection with your Dremel? I do not, although I do with everything else. I am trying to change myself to get in the habit of wearing it when I Dremel.
Hello David! The only time I don't wear Glasses is when filming the opening.. I normally wear big thick shop glasses that I affectionately refer to as my "BC's" (a reference to what we called military glasses "Birth Controls') The small wire brushes for the Dremel have a bad habit of spitting out wires all over the place! Many times I will even use a face shield! Cheap Chinese Brushes! Lol Thanks!!!!
ScoutCrafter Yeah, man. Same here. I want a set for my shop. Actually a couple of sets. They look like they'll make life a lot easier when grinding small parts and such. Vise grips really chew into surfaces.
ScoutCrafter, I'm starting into this - or something like it - as a hobby. Not sure why I find this so fascinating, but I do! I think these LockLine pliers are actually pretty cool. One advantage over ViseGrips (I've got several I've used for 40 years!), is that there is no adjusting of the knurled nut at the bottom of the ViceGrips - one could just grab the object and lock. I could see situations where the plier is a temporary, for example, valve handle. Lock it instantly, and one could push the valve open or pull it closed - back and forth. Maybe it was a price to market issue? In 1945 there may not have been a lot of cash available for the small handyman or homeowner. On a different note, I can't seem to find a way to send you a private message which means you generally don't want them! I get it. I would love to show you a few of my potential first-project pliers and ask a couple of questions, if you'd care to send me a note. If not - its all good.
Hello Marc! These pliers are so unusual we can't figure out what their intended purpose was! Lol. Anytime you need to contact me just email me at. Bicycleguy@aol.com Thanks!!! 😃👍
Those are great looking pliers. I was hoping you might take them apart, but who knows what kind of springs or gears would come flying out, lol. Anyway, very neat I had no idea these existed. Cheers.
Hi Joe! Their is only a rotating lobe disc inside! Very few parts! If you drill out the rivets then replace them with anything else the value is gone... These cost me $20- Not a lot but I hate to take all the collector value aways when I don't have to! =) Thanks!!!!!
There have been many companies that have tried to make a better locking plier than Vice-Grip. I have two or three different ones in my tool box, that are pretty worthless. If you look at Walmart and such stores you'll find plenty of them. These however are well constructed, but I bet material costs killed these. Thanks for another great video and some unusual plies!
Hi George! For some strange reason I don't think these were made to compete with Vise Grips but maybe intended for a production line or something... Very unusual for sure!!! =) Thanks!!!!
Great Video Scout. A very unique vice grip pliers. The standard vice grips are the worst hand tools I have for rusting quickly in the workshop. I don't know if it's the cheap metal or the crummy finish/plating? I own several pairs any solution to the rust?
Hello Greg! It's funny you mention that because the older Vise Grips had a much more rust resistant finish! The later ones would get spots of rust that would spread! If you have some with rust just grind off the rust and shellac or clear-coat them! Thanks very much!!! 😃👍
Good plan for what I have now, however you'd think the factory would have clear coated them so I don't have to. Irwin moved Vise-grip manufacturing to China in 2008. If I can't find Vise-grip NOS made in USA I'm going to switch to Knipex (zinc plated) or Grip-On ( epoxy resin coated) new or used for future grip plier purchases.
I've gotta visit some of the vendors you do. Having the hardest time locating cool pliers. The WWI fencing cutters were essentially my only score. Sure, tons of monkey/pipe wrenches, but interesting pliers? Forgetaboutit!
Hi Felix! LOL The funny thing is Pliers are a hit and miss thing... I really enjoy Hammers too! I have a bunch of cool hammers! Oh Yeah- Screwdrivers!!! =D I guess most tools! Thanks!!!!!!!
I'm interested to know if you've ever used bicycle lubricant, such as Dumonde Tech or Tri-Flow, on any of your tool joints. I've been meaning to give Marvel Mystery Oil a shot, nevertheless. Once again, great video!
Hello David! Yes! Tri-Flow is amazing!!! I use that mostly on my padlocks! I chose the MMO/Grease mix because of it's cleaning properties and viscosity... I'm sure many lubricants would have worked as well! Thanks so much!!!!!!
ScoutCrafter... Cool video... as usual. These were made to soften the users grip... the inventor made them with the use of or as a fulcrum in mind. You collect and adorn pliers... my downfall are 0-1" outside micrometers.
Felix F... Just about every name and origin... many. I have ten thousandths measuring competitions with my sons. I also use them for reloading, which I have a separate set for.
ScoutCrafter... Yes, I know. I saw your particular video on them. An enjoyable video. The question is... do you use them? I use them four or five times a week. I also have ten thousandths measuring competitions with my sons. I'm very OCD about my micrometers. Thank you for your wonderful videos.
I would think it's for a bolt or stud that's seized up. It looks a bit more useable then a vice grip cause of how easy it is to use and you don't have to adjust it to reuse it.
Hello Teddy! Ever since I was a boy there was a can or two of Marvel Mystery Oil in the Garage! Even as a youngster I was fascinated by the graphics on the can! My Grandfather and Father used it often and I am carrying on the tradition! =) Thanks so much!!!!!!!
Hello TJ's! I think they were designed for either production line work or the aviation industry... I would love to know the back story behind these!! Thanks!!!!!!
Man you really come up stuff. Like most guys, I've never heard of these. They do look like a specialized tool. I'm sure they weren't cheap when new. Definitely high quality, maybe the price killed them.
Emerson V They do look like a special use item. If they are in competition with Vise Grips the manufacturing process required for the Lock Line pliers would make them comparitively expensive. Drop forged from tool steel, machined to close tolerance, heat treated, and stake riveted as opposed to the Vise Grip style that is stamped, and welded, then assembed with headed rivets to a wide fit tolerance. The market would limit the number sold.
These were some of the first locking pliers that were automatic. They didn't need to be fiddled with adjusting the size of the jaws before locking the object in place.
Hello Crossbow, these pliers are very unusual as they seem to have had a specific task in mind and I can't for the life of me figure it out! LOL They are different though! Thanks so much!!!!!
They look so much easier to lock on in comparison to the Vise-grip style pliers and don't understand why they are more popular. Anyone know their disadvantages with compared against the vise-grip style? Perhaps the VG can be adjusted to grip with greater strength or maybe the VG has a wider range of capacities? Just guessing though.
Hi John! The disadvantages of this tool is very limited range, no quick release... I would rather have a VG over these but they had to have some speciality... Thanks very much!!!!
Hello Daniel, I do like some factory finishes, but nothing beats the feel of a polished finish! LOL Believe it or not many of the brown tools you see today once had a polished finish from the factory! Labor was cheap and they could sell more if shiny! Now that labor costs are higher we get crappy finishes like that awful Black Oxide garbage! =) Thanks!!!!!!! This tool has a nice finish!
SC, thank you for the reply. I'm a woodturner living in philadelphia, I have a small workshop in the suburbs where I make bowls. I have an General Mfg. Co. model 260 canadian made lathe and have broke the index pin, part number 263-8 (no. 27 on the diagram). I've been trying to find the part for the past 3 months with no success. It's a single piece of metal 2.5" long, 7/16" diameter. It's basically a cylinder with a knurled head. Is there anyway I can send you a photo of this piece and potentially have you fabricate one for me? I have a bunch of vintage tools, hand made bowls, or whatever you wanted in terms of payment. This little part is an enormous part of my shop and since it broke production in my shop has slowed.
The cheap mole vice grips are marvellous for the price, these look better made and far more expensive but do they do a better job for paying out more money? The mole vice grips take an awful amount of punishment and just seem to work, will these ones take the punishment and abuse mole grips get?
Hi Tony- The Vise Grips I showed in this video I bought about 35 years ago and have to be one of the best investments I ever made! They are practically bulletproof and has saved my a$$ on more then one occasion! Nothing is more versatile or dependable then Vise Grips!!!! Thanks!!!!!!!!
My guess as to why he invented them is because vice grips need to be adjusted before applying clamping power (one thing I dislike about them). Those appear to clamp down anything (within reason), without any adjusting. Cool tool. Wish they still made them.
Hello Ian! It's called "Warm Jazz Background" by Argsound Background Music on TH-cam! He is nice enough to put out all No-Copy right free background music! Thanks so much!!!!!!
Vise grips hurt my hand. I hate the thin metal part. Those locking pliers look easier to hold and the knurling is so pretty. The jaws aren’t as useful as vice grips but I’m giving lock-line pliers a 👍🏻.
really not that amazing, should be at least 50k subs and by next couple of months i know it will be, the thing what amazing is you put 3 amazing videos a week and have amazing tools i never saw before and learn about, That why i think you should try for monetize and you can always turn off. Also should trying puting everthing you use and link to amazon and sign up for there program where what ever someone buy in 24 hour you make a profit. I know money is not everthing and you here to give back but hey you can get better tools with the money to show off or even give away. But again it not any of my business i just want to see get something back for all the amazing videos you make. thanks again
David- I know you know a lot more about TH-cam then I do, I was wondering... Do you think Monetizing the channel will improve subs? I was talking to my GF about what you said and then I thought if the channel is selling advertisements then TH-cam might be more inclined to add your videos to the suggested bar! What are your thoughts? =) Thanks again!
tell you the truth i just know little bit about it from watching people videos (haven't check but there probably a ton of videos TH-cam about it), but i think it would help also there option how to show how many ads you want show, like able to skip or not. I would do it, the best thing you can turn it off on videos if you change your mind but i recommend just do it for a month or 2 also go and do the amazon affiliate program and then link all the tools/oil you use in the video, put it in a txt file and just copy and paste it ever video.

Hello Jonathan!!!! The best thing about tool lovers is we all enjoy a good tool and being in the shop away from all the craziness outside! LOL Thanks so much!!!!!!! =)
I agree.
100% agreement !
I'm right there with you!!👏👏👍
Thanks for sharing this obscure set of pliers with us. I really enjoy seeing all these unusual designs from the past. Keep them coming!
Hello Gerald! I'm glad you enjoyed it! Thanks very much! 😃👍
I really enjoy the goofy designs you have been sharing with us lately - the Guimarin Gem, the German multi tool, great stuff!
Hello 357MD! When you are a "Tool Guy" this is definitely fun stuff... Even if it's a failed design it's still fun to fool with! Thanks very much!!!
Another little bit of tool history that we can learn from. Thanks SC.
Hello Iwood1- I'm so glad you enjoyed the video!!!! =) Thanks!!!!!!
Cool pliers, another I’ve never seen. Nice clean up and a beautiful restoration.
Thanks so much Mike!
The locking action looks so smooth now I wonder why they never caught on. Vice grips (or Mole grips in the UK) have their place but these look so simple it is strange that they never got popular. Great video as always.
Hi Tony! Yes! I have no idea behind the design or backstory of these... I wish I knew! Thanks very much!!!
Like the shape and design of these Lock Line Pliers. Can't say I've ever seen a pair like this. Good video Scout.
Hello ETN! We "Tool guys" just love a quality made good looking tool... This fits the bill! LOL Thanks very much!!!!
Those might have been really handy fitting all the flight and engine control cables on WW2 aircraft. The ability to quickly grab and hold a cable to anchor it and then having the leverage to nip the excess off would be a real help if you were doing that job all day long in a confined space like the cockpit.
Hello Ace! I originally thought they were a production line tool or aviation! Your guess sounds very good! Thanks!!!!!
Those are unusual pliers for sure! Thanks for sharing this interesting tool.
Hello John! Glad you enjoyed these unusual pliers! Thanks very much!!!!!
*W0W - I Like!* Don't have to Keep Adjusting them till you get the 'right' grip!
Hi Karen! These were very specialized for sure! I just don't know what for! =) Thanks so much!!!!
Beautiful pliers never seen them first time very nice God bless you and family👍
Hello Reynaldo my friend! Me too first time! Thanks very much!!!!!
Wow another tool I haven't seen...Very good quality....well made...
Blackie- On par with the plierench! 😃👍
Your enthusiasm for old tools is infectious. Another great presentation of an unusual tool. Best regards from 'across the pond' 👍🏻
Unusual and unique tool.Nice addition to any collection......cheers mate.
Hello Darrin! A very cool tool for people like us who love tools... I just wish I knew what they were designed for! Thanks very much!!!!!
Very interesting tool...I never have seen one...quality in construction...
Interesting tool, I can see the applications they would have. Great resto and thanks for sharing
Hi Bernie! This is definitely "Interesting" but still a mystery on why they were made! Thanks!!!!!!!!
This is one of my favorite videos I really like these pliers tey have such a different look to them.
Because of this video, I now own TWO pairs of these! Thanks ScoutCrafter!
Scott- These are pretty rare... I always liked the shape and the quality. Just different... Thanks!
Looks like an interesting and quality plier! Cool video!
Hello Kenneth! Thanks very much!!!!! =)
Very interesting mechanism! Thanks for the show!
Hello Ziya! Yes! We are all still trying to figure out what they were designed for! Thanks very much!!!
These are pretty cool. I could see that being handy. And strong too 💪👏💥
Interesting Pliers! You probably know me enough by now to know that I'll come up with a way to use an unusual tool! That one can be used to hold laundry on a 5/8th inch braided steel cable!! Problem is, you might need a couple of dozen per load of wash!! Great Video!! And GREAT refurb!!
Hello Bill! LOL That would work!!! =) I would love to know what these were really designed for!! Thanks very much!!!
..the pliers may be old and not too popular, but look well made compared to some tools of today. thanks for a good info vid
Hello Bob! You are so right! These are made so well, like the Plierench! Thanks very much!!!!!!!
Hello my friend, nice set of pliers, will have to look for a set. Was really hoping for a full restore in that I mean a cleanup and polish those are something for the wall, not to be used daily. Anyway, good video as usual. See you next time.

I think we all are guilty of adjusting vice grips way too many times! Will take much of the guesswork out of grabbing items? As usual awesome video!!!
Hello Bob! I wonder if these were made for production lines or the aerospace industry? They are very well made! Thanks so much!!!!
Nice job again! I suspect the advantage over Vice Grips is you don't have to adjust them to fit different sized targets, but I suspect someone else may have thought of that ahead of me! LOL.
Hello LMR! They are a strange plier for sure! I can't say I would choose t over a Vise Grip in any circumstance! Thanks so much!
Nifty pliers! I really like that you tell the history and show the paperwork behind these tools! Shows your great interest and love for tools. I bet you have little pieces of wire coat hangers all over your shop! Lol. Was using the Dremel all it needed to free it up?
Hello Steve! The Dremel and the 50/50 mix of ATF/Acetone! That mix is amazing!!!! Easy fix! Thanks very much!!!
You'll laugh, I did that one also and already lubed up a tool to see it how it did. It worked great!!! You're the maestro of mixing lubricants.😀👍👏
Thanks ScoutCrafter, for once again introducing me to a pair of pliers that I must have!
Hello Scott!!!! The Plierench was a tool that I really feel was still useful, these pliers are just so specialized I don't know if you will use them... Hello Jim! Yes! The unusual and rare tools are always interesting!!!! Thanks so much!!
You're welcome, Sir 🤠
Those are pretty cool. They look like they'd only really be fun to use when you had someone in the shop with you.
Hi Allan! These are just super strange looking! Maybe that's why I was attracted to them! =) Thanks!!!!!!
ScoutCrafter Yeah, man. Same here. I want a set for my shop. Actually a couple of sets. They look like they'll make life a lot easier when grinding small parts and such. Vise grips really chew into surfaces.
Another nice one! Thanks for the video
Hello KDK! Thanks very much!!!!!!!
Great restoration video Scoutcrafter keep up up the great work 👍🏻😀
Hello Ocelot! Thanks very much!!! 😃👍
very cool, I had never seen one of these before, congratulations exelente work!
Hello A.L.! Thanks very much! These were easy to get back in service!!! =)
My guess they came about for something in WW-II. A special tool for certain thing being built in WW-II. Thanks good stuff.
Hello Norherman! Yes! I was thinking some sort of production line tool! Thanks!!!!!!!!
ScoutCrafter, I'm starting into this - or something like it - as a hobby. Not sure why I find this so fascinating, but I do! I think these LockLine pliers are actually pretty cool. Hello LV! This one you hardly ever see! I'm glad I got a hold of one to share! Thanks!!!!!!
ScoutCrafter you are welcome it was a first for me didn't even know about these till your video :D
Those are great looking pliers. I was hoping you might take them apart, but who knows what kind of springs or gears would come flying out, lol. Anyway, very neat I had no idea these existed. Cheers.

Hello Tony! These are very well made!! Surprisingly so! Thanks very much!!!!!!
Cool! TKS from Brazil.
Thanks so much!!!!!!
Nice tool, and clever invention.
Hello Glen! Very well made but we are still trying to find out exactly what they were made for! 😃. Thanks very much!!!

Hello Mike! Yes, me neither until about a year ago then I kept my eye out for a pair... Got these for $20- just to share! Thanks very much!!!!!
Superbe cette pince. Très innovant système. Cordialement
Hello Pascal!!!! Thanks so much my friend!!!! =)
Things that make you go... hummmmm!!!
That’s cool
Hello David! Exactly!!! ??? I'll never know!! LOL Thanks!!!!!!!
Wow I've never seen pliers like that before really interesting great video
Hello Donald! Me too! Very unusual but very well made too! Thanks!!!!!!!!!

Bison, how many micrometers do you own?

Hello Teddy! Ever since I was a boy there was a can or two of Marvel Mystery Oil in the Garage! Even as a youngster I was fascinated by the graphics on the can! My Grandfather and Father used it often and I am carrying on the tradition! =) Thanks so much!!!!!!!
Very interesting! I think they may be superior in some way to vice grip
Hello TJ's! I think they were designed for either production line work or the aviation industry... I would love to know the back story behind these!! Thanks!!!!!!
Could this be a type of swaging tool?
Hello Jay! It could be but the manufacturer didn't list a speciality for these... Very intriguing for sure!!!
I just got the same pliers at the flea on Sunday
Nice video
Hello AEG! Thanks very much!!!!!! =)
if they made welding clamps like this i'd buy a few for small jobs.
Hello Tattmanndann! Yes! Especially if the quality was of the same caliper! Thanks very much!!!
Man you really come up stuff. Like most guys, I've never heard of these. They do look like a specialized tool. I'm sure they weren't cheap when new. Definitely high quality, maybe the price killed them.
Hello Emerson! I would love to know the backstory behind these... You're right they are very well made! Thanks so much!!!!!!
Interesting... let me check with my aerospace buddies if they used them.
Hello WC! One of those tools that I just can't figure out! Very well made though! Thanks!!!!!!!
When a tool like that enters my shop I take it as a challenge to make bring it back to an operational status. It's very satisfying somehow.
Hello Wyatt! You are so right! Especially when it just needed a little TLC to get it back! Thanks!!!!!!!
Which Ross company made them
Hello Willy, All it says is Ross manufacturing company S.F. I have no idea how many Ross companies they had! Thanks!
Hey ScoutCrafter. Great video,
Vaughn
Hi Vaughn! Thanks very much!!! These are pretty unusual for sure! 😃👍
As always interesting. Never ever seen the like I doubt their are any in England if there is they are as rare as hens teeth.
Hello Kevin! They are scarce here so they are probably even more scarce there! =) Thanks very much!!!!!
ohh yeah what a treat!!
Hello Arlind!!! I'm so glad you enjoyed the video!! Thanks!!!!!!!!
It might have been used for guywire work. But who knows right? It’s definitely a neat little thing.
Hello DJG! That's a real possibility! It's hard to tell! Thanks so much!!!!!
With the cutters in there, I immediately thought heavy wire / cable crimpers
Hello Wanton! Yes! They almost look like a aerospace tool or something! Very unusual! Well made though! Thanks!!!!!
Nice.. 👍👍👍👍
Hello Santiago! Thanks very much!!!!! =D
I agree they are interesting.
Hi Tommy! This one is very well made too, I would love to know the back story on this! Thanks!!! 😃👍
What is your obsession with the high luster finishes? There is something to be said for a subtle brushed finish.
Hello Daniel Nero- If it is within my skills to make it I will give it a shot.. Send me the pics at bicycleguy@aol.com 😃👍

Hi Mary! I will do a video soon on some "Self Adjusting Vice Grips" They are pretty interesting! Thanks very much!!!!!!!
very cool!!
Hello Jeff! Stuff made during the War was always interesting! It had to be made for something! =) Thanks!!!
Nice i like to have a pair
Hello Wayne! Spoken like a true tool lover!!! 😃👍. Thanks very much!!!
Hey Scout Crafter I relly Like your Video's Whats the Music?
Hello Ian! It's called "Warm Jazz Background" by Argsound Background Music on TH-cam! He is nice enough to put out all No-Copy right free background music! Thanks so much!!!!!!
Another great video ScoutCrafter.
Thanks for sharing...You seem to be able and find the most interesting looking pliers in the world 😉.
diYotamCh
Hello diYotamCh! I'm so glad you enjoyed the demo! I also love unusual tools!!! Thanks very much!!!!
Vise grips hurt my hand. I hate the thin metal part. Those locking pliers look easier to hold and the knurling is so pretty. The jaws aren’t as useful as vice grips but I’m giving lock-line pliers a 👍🏻.
Hi Jill! These are so unusual! I wish I knew what they were invented for! Thanks very much!!!!!
Just think how popular these would be without those specialized jaws. I love that mechanism. I also hate how vise grips can rebound when released.
Those are interesting SC! Give me vise grips, duct tape and I can show you quality creativity anywhere on the farm! Oh and gorrilla glue. :-)
wire cutter, ferrule crimp ???? ...
Hello Blackie! Could be, I had thoughts this could be made for production lines or the aviation industry... Hard to tell! Thanks!!! 😃👍
wow, classic hihi
Hello CM! Something different for sure!!! Thanks so much!!!!
another tool to keep my eyes open as long as the price is right....
Hello Roger!!!! I paid $20 for this one on eBay... They are very well made though! =) Thanks!!!!!!!!
i always look in the dollar pile, one never knows
ALWAYS!!!! =)
take a look at Popular Science Sep 1949, page 210 for the advertisment and break down.
Hello Crossbow! Is it the same one that's at the end of the video? =)
SEE THAT'S WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU LEAVE THE MOVIE BEFORE THE CREDITS ROLL!! LOL!
Hello crossbow! LOL!!!! 😃👍. Thanks again!!!!!
another great one i hope sometime you try couple weeks and monetize the channel, 600 to go till 10k
Hello David!!! How amazing is that!!!! Really great stuff!!! Thanks so much!!!
really not that amazing, should be at least 50k subs and by next couple of months i know it will be, the thing what amazing is you put 3 amazing videos a week and have amazing tools i never saw before and learn about, That why i think you should try for monetize and you can always turn off.
Thanks David! I will definitely look into it! =)
+!
Thanks very much!!!!!! =)
