Hello thanks for the instructional. I have a real nice scenic view 🏔️ with a Buck 🦌 that is perferated vinal wrap but it does not have the backer / peeler paper to make it sticky. The vinal itself is not sticky on the back so I don't think the paper was removed. Is there a spray adhesive that I can use or is it a different system maybe that requires heat ? Thank You
Thanks.. fyi.. you won’t crack glass with a heat gun.. we use heat guns to deglaze glass all the time and we get the glass smoking hot to release the sealant.. we talking 60-90 second over a 10” area sometimes on very old 1/8” single pane glass sometimes to get it hit enough to releases from the old glazing compounds.. way more heat then you would ever do with vinyl as it would melt at a temp way below what would ever effect the glass
I had my RV vinyl graphics replaced. They did my windows in perforated vinyl. After driving home 2hrs, the edge of my “frameless windows” were peeling at the edges. However not all of them. (could be wind blowing) I see by what you are doing could be the answer to my problem. Would you recommend the heat gun to lay the edges back down? Or add 3M 8914ES to the edges?
I had my truck vinyl wrapped for my company & they did a less than admirable job specifically on my back window... It has a center sliding window. The edge cuts aren't clean & some areas are lifting. Can I just trim 1/8 & heat on a low setting with my heat gun? I install high-end wallcoverings for a living so I won't have any issues fixing it myself with a straight edge & Olfa knife. I can see where they didn’t tuck at the center window gasket & slow steady single cuts were not made. It’s jagged. I guess if you want something done right you gotta do it yourself these days…
nice job I recently wrapped the cabin of my boat it's over 10' tall I used tape just like you did but I pulled downward.then used hair dryer. now I want to do the windows on my van RV in white perforated. if RV is lighted up I think peeking toms assholes can still look inside? do you recommend maybe silver tint on inside so assholes can't look in. I'd like to ditch the inside curtains I also want to cover the black trim around my window like it would look retarded a all white van w/ a black ring around window so will it stick to the hump over the window trim. nice video.
When I searched for perforated vinyls through different companies I never found a ratio. Or a way to gauge the density of perforations in the vinyl. It seems to all be consistant perforations.

Do you print the entire wrap yourself? How would one get into making their own?
mine is curling at the edges.How do you get it to lay back down and sticjk to the glass

Looks great- can you tell us what the print/hole ratio is on this install? Is that a 50/50 split, a 60/40?
