I seen Elvis Oct. 15th 1976 at the old Chicago Stadium and I believe it was the start of this tour. Agreed, this tour was awesome and his 2 shows in Chicago the 14 and 15th were fantastic. His voice was full of energy and power. One of the best concerts I have been to.

When he did Can't help falling in love (the movie/ studio version) I read that it took 18 takes before they finally got it recorded! If he made it his closing song to show his fans that he appreciated them, well I saw a video of an entire stadium full of people that were singing can't help falling in love Acapella the site and sound of this actually made me start to..well..tear up 😢 his fans loved him right back 💗😊

Elvis's version of 'I Can't Help Falling in Love' from his NBC 68' Comeback Special' was never to be equalled. It absolutely towers over any other version he performed Live.
Fans need to listen to it as proof of the passion, the emotion and sheer voice control. The same could be said for his unmatchable version of Love Me Tender from that same Comeback tv Show.
In fact Elvis didn't even attempt ever again to perform those two songs with such gutso and sheer passion.
And in his last few years he would race and rush through that final concert closer 'Can't Help Falling in Love' without a care in the world, ever more keen to just get off the stage and into the waiting car.
The last few years of Elvis's Live performances was clearly not my favourite period. I guess I just like to remember him at his very best and up to Aloha Hawaii. But after that everything changed.

I also love watching the end of Elvis shows and the closing. I love it so much. And even more so when it's in Las Vegas. Watching that curtain slowly fall on Elvis is epic. Listen to the closing and seeing the fans excited to play it and Elvis greeting everyone. "Can't help fallin..." In Las Vegas and the closing is what I love most of all the '70s shows. Unfortunately the 8mm videos from Las Vegas almost don't reach the end and end before "can't help..." Or halfway through. I think it's because the shows were more than an hour and the 8mm film didn't last.more than one hour. Do you know of any video from Las Vegas from 1971 onwards, complete from "also sprach..." Until the closing we go, until Elvis disappears from the stage? Please, if it exists, give me the link to see it. It doesn't matter if it's TH-cam, daylimotion, etc.

Elvis just had it all didn't he?? Everything about him .. he had the "IT" factor oozing out of his pores!! His music & voice from his 68 Comeback Special til his last concert was his absolute best. I always wonder what amazing vocals he would've gifted us with had he not died. His voice just never ceases to amaze me and gives me chills even if I've listened to the same version hundreds & hundreds of times. One of my favorites is the very last part of "Bridge Over Troubled Water" when he's singing "east your mind"... oh my God!! th-cam.com/video/70dT1-WhBFM/w-d-xo.htmlsi=EHzl-48yWAPY7c8S

A nice woman’s company can for sure lift up a guy, even just for a while, because when he is high on love (and maybe blinded by it)… he feels he can move mountains, it can be very inspiring and motivating. Must have been tough for him to know beforehand who was really interested in him, for him, and who was mainly interested in his status and celeb benefits, like a throphy for the woman. Certainly when growing older, unhealthier, and needing to be taken care of with TLC, better choose a right one.

Autopsy in Dr Nick trial said he still had bariatric liquid in his colon for 3 Mos, tells colon not working and extremely painful, not to mention all his other ailments. I wish that Elvis listened to the rhythm of his body and didn't rely on prescibed drugs to push himself into an unhealthy lifestyle and hectic, gruelling performances. He died all too young. He loved performing, pushing, himself but, at what cost?

I heard what you had to say on another video that Elvis took salt tablets to sweat literally, did you hear yourself when you said that because it’s asinine, literally asinine you should never make a comment unless you have the fax realistically why he sweated was the lighting the costumes, the medication being overworked, but to say he took salt tablets to sweat because he thought it was sexy. That’s really asinine because it wasn’t. It was his body and anybody can leave a comment I will never read it. Never see it because you will never see me or hear from me again, I don’t watch people who make up lies

As a backdrop, he put a picture that he took when he was visiting Graceland. So that pic is one he took when he was visiting Graceland and he decided to put that as his backdrop on this video
