I think this could be a pretty cool panda-like challenge, like if they were given 30 minutes in elite smash to do as many chatgpt combos as they can, and maybe they get one skip if the combo is too difficult
Larry massively misread his. Chatgpt gave him 3 separate ones. The first one of which was literally grab->pummel->cargo throw->aerial. Would've had it multiple times if he just pummeled on grab
I dont think he missread it, he just combined them instead since otherwise it wouldve been too easy. So ultimately what he was trying to do was Grab > Cargo throw > aerial > Up tilt > Aerial > Grab > Down throw > Aerial

Best part of Smash is that any character can win any match. All comes down to knowledge of your character and the wisdom to understand what your opponent wants to do. It's so close to broken but also perfect.
it would've probably been a bit more fun to try to hit the longest combo string possible from what ChapGPT fed you. So even you hit just upair+dair+dash, that would could as 3 - that would make it a bit less obvious which moves you're fishing for, and still keep the idea alive. I really wanted to see this as a proper best-of-five with different combos and characters!
its funny that Larry Lurr's first prompt was actually different combo starters, not one big combo, so if he pummeled before doing a bair he would've won

What if at the end of each match, if no one successfully performed their combo, then the other person tries guess what your combo is. If they’re correct, then they win. This was a fun watch regardless

They should make it so you also lose if your opponent figures out your combo after the game. Also make prompting a bit more specific. Something like you get 3 prompts to specify/modify / reroll your combo and the tl;dr; is free.
When pro players realize the more you correct Chat gpt the more accurate it gets as it learns. It’s a AI that needs to learn before getting the accurate info, I’m curious to see where these two take this . Looks like fun content
