There have been so many stupid things like mods forcing peopke to submit essays on which pokemon/moves to ban and those had to be aporoved before the vote was counted. I also remember they decided to ban Porygon from LC instead of just banning the move recycle, recover or whatever their issue with Porygon was. I don't really care about smogon and never had but it does get ridiculous at times.

Don't base the entire playerbase off that one dumb decision alone. Banning Pokémon is also par for the course and is usually the standard action to take compared to banning moves/abilities; Porygon may be doing broken things with Recycle/Recover whatever, but if other Pokémon can use those moves just fine, that says more about Porygon being broken than the moves themselves. It would be like banning Speed Boost from Blaziken specifically, even though Speed Boost is manageable on literally every other Pokémon.

Ancient Mew card was gotten by attending the SECOND pokemon movie during its premiere week. I feel like this "Ancient Mew comes from the first movie" is becoming a Mandela effect.

I find it funny that starting Gen 6, Mew has the same conundrum where it starts off in a mid-low tier, but rises up the tiers because people realize that its lead set is great for that tier.
Mew gotta be one of the most tragic characters in fiction. Bro was a king at its inception, and spent years proving itself once everything around it got stronger. And finally, after years of proving itself, Mew lost everything (it's movepool), tumbled down the tiring ladder, and now has to prove itself once again
I think a cool idea for a video would be "how good IS Slowking actually" since Slowking kind of became a superstar just after you Made the video in 2019, and the original video covers it's story fine enough until that point to need a full remake.

I mean, having 3 completely different sets that are difficult to tell apart until it starts doing its thing is a pretty big advantage just in terms of unpredictability alone.
It's been a great Pokemon in every gen but 9. It's not really a jack of all trades when it clearly excels in certain roles, you're being misled by its jack of all trades stats

Gen 9 truly was the ultimate tradeoff for Mew, for better or worse. It lost a lot of its moves, especially the recovery ones, but it could also become the Fairy type it always wanted to be and use a different way of recovery by draining health with kisses.

I use these videos to learn about competitive Pokemon, as well as the best way to use a particular pokemon. This channel has taught me a lot, but I wish it was more newbie friendly to people unfamiliar with usage tiers. I'm not sure usage equates to a pokemon being good, or being downgraded. Gengar for example In a previous video "fell" from OU, just to get banned in both UU and OU.
