So weird to see such mundane experiences like just walking thru the mall, checking out Victoria's Secret and stuff... but knowing this place is gone...
when times were simpler... as a child I never had videos like this, my parents were far from techies... but ur lucky u have this cause its a staple in American history and its your own person enjoyment video
Wow the subway train and station still looks almost the same as it does today! I really wish some of the stores in the mall could be rebuilt... I was born after 9/11 so never got a chance to visit this amazing mall😢
This is simply heartbreaking to know this is all gone. I know they did discover some of the Warner Brothers statues but most the mall was destroyed. So happy this nice family was able to enjoy a precious moment there. So very sad.
2:52, the song is Sara Smile, originally by Hall & Oates, this version is by Chad Stone band, the performers are the same as in “Harley Music” the band who made the MUZAK version of How Deep Is Your Love.
@@anthonysantucci1728 I make a monthly collection of unidentified muzak so maybe you could check this video out: th-cam.com/video/KU6cfzza7H0/w-d-xo.html

That's a shame. We have family videos from way back in the 60s up to now.
such a lovely feeling for a simpler time ~
I was there in July of 2001. It was a vibrant place--so nice to see it one more time.

So glad we have all this footage on the original World Trade Center on TH-cam before it was destroyed on that awful day.
The last ever Christmas of the World Trade Center...

So sad that no one ever knew what would have happened 7 months later...
time moves so fast especially if you remain stagnant and cling on to memories..
That is something you dont realize until you're older
does anyone know if those are the same metal doors that now lead to the occulus??
yes the doors are the same. you can even see the same markings they made on the days after 9/11 now.

What muzak song would this be in this video, I hear a Guitar and a flute. Here are the time stamps. 3:18 4:06
Carey by Josephs Band!
@@pre-911wtc4 Do you found the song of it or its just the artist.
@@WTC_2001Jay Found the song and artist but cannot upload to yt as of now
I could be wrong but I think the song heard at 7:14 could be an instrumental version of “Someone That I Used To Love” by Natalie Cole.
It is, thanks so much!
By chance are there any other songs that you recognize?
@@pre-911wtc4Glad I could help. I don’t know of any other songs off hand. But I will do all that I can to help identify them.
