Thank you for watching Guys! Last Vlog with the audio issue that some headset users might notice at some point. I`m so excited to take you to this paradise that left us speechless!! Have you ever heard of this place before?
Yes, it's located in Poro Point of San Fernando City, La Union. Poro Point was used to be a US Military Air Base (US Wallace Air Station) during 50s to 1991. In 1992, Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA), a Government- Private owned company took over Poro Point in which they converted former US Military Bases into Economic and Tourism Hub just like in Clark, Subic and Poro. Just why Poro Point has already a 5 star Thunderbird Resort and Casino, it's the first ever Santorini Inpired Resort in the Philippines since 2006 with a massive land area of 65 hectares that's why it's dubbed as "Santorini of Asia". It's also a shooting locations for Filipino TV series/ Filipino Movies and one of those was "No Other Woman" a highest grossing Filipino film of 2011. You can go there for sight seeing without booking a hotel. I think you just need to go to their website or their fb page for reservation. The entrance fee is already consumable for foods to their restaurants. The cliff is called the Poro Cliff it is more resembled and comparible to a cliff found in Bali, Indonesia. It has a solid staircase before going down the beach during the American Era, but due to calamities like earthquakes, typhoons etc. it has been already destroyed. It is a private area that why it has a barrier but they already letting tourists for sight seeing. You can go down there by renting a boat at Acapulco Beach. Acapulco Beach is one of the beautiful beaches of San Fernando and you can find there Aureo Resort. Aureo Resort has 6 pools and it has a massive Lazy River Pool and it has also a Luxury Villas just beside the Ocean. It's already considered as one of the best Resorts in the Philippines. I hope you can go back and explore in La Union. Highly recommendation is the Immuki Island, a crystal clear lagoons in Balaoan, La Union. Then, Darigayos Cove, a crystal beach in Luna, La Union. Luna has pebble beaches, Historical Church and watch tower. You can visit their famous Stone House "Bahay na Bato". Also, the mountain ranges and viewdecks of La Union including "Top Allan View Deck" in Sudipen, La Union, Kudlap cave and People's Park in Bagulin, La Union and The Great Road of Santol, La Union. La Union has waterfalls including the famous waterfall "Tangadan Falls" in San Gabriel, La Union. Then, the Gallano Rice Terraces and the Historical Centennial Tunnel of Aringay, La Union. San Fernando City has also Botanical Garden, Historical Pindangan Ruins (1764), Bacsil Ridge View Deck, mountain resorts and a known Night Market (tasting authentic Ilocano dishes). If you want thrilling activities you can explore Pugad Adventure in Pugo, La Union. They have 8 random pools, atv ride, zipline, wall climbing, mini zoo etc. and best time to go there during weekends. La Union is very diverse Province it has still a lot of tourist spots and hidden gems.
Ms.Suzie, you are one of the few people that appreciate little things, you arr so sweet, so kind, sooo lovable, gorgeous, an Angel that fallen down here on earth and you are indeed blessed, lucky to have a korean look a like husband that spoiled you and loves you and support you. You are just so perfect and meant for each other. Happy Valentine for both of you. Thanks for touring us on that gorgeous nature!!!!
When i was in college we went there with my friends …we rented a boat for 300pesos that time to reach that place we were told that it is a beautiful white sand beach…
Susie, the popular puto calasiao is from Calasiao, Pangasinan. It's also available in Metro Manila, and we used to buy it along Katipunan Avenue in White Plains, Quezon City whenever we would pass by that area on our way home. There are other similar bite-sized puto, the colored ones, that are also being sold in Metro Manila, and most likely in some other provinces. In one of your old vlogs, you bought puto Biñan, which as the name implies, comes from Biñan, Laguna. Puto Biñan also has an oval- shaped variety that is said to have been formed by using an oval-shaped sardine can that used to be widely produced in the old days.
My fav puto and kutsinta. I also buy it in Katipunan area, everytime I go back home for holiday. I just missed it the last time I went back to the Phils.
I have a feeling you’re torn between wanting to live in a place nestled in nature or by the beach…..why not have both??? Give my regards to your Korean husband😂
