    Appreciate you sharing that bit of insight about the food plans at Le Meridien! Nobody really spends time to talk about this because the resort itself is more eye-catching to record. But details like this is what will help people plan for a better trip so thank you so much for this!

    Thanks for sharing this David! Any chance you can do a breakdown of the seaplane experience next? For example, is it a round trip price? Also how was the Covid testing? Thanks again for the phenomenal information!

      Thanks for the question, so sorry I am just now seeing this. The seaplane was a round trip price. I believe it was $240 a person round trip and then we had to pay for any weight over 50 pounds if I remember right. They did do the covid test at the resort. PCR was $120 a person at the time. Hope this helps and isnt too late!

    Thanks for the information. Just want to confirm is about $250 per couple per night.

    • @traveldavid2709
      @traveldavid2709  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      When we were there if you were platinum or above full board plus, the one we did was $250 a couple…the full all inclusive was 400 a couple.

      Did the plan include the special fish and lobster dinner, and BBQ on the beach? Thanks, Really like the video.

    • @traveldavid2709
      @traveldavid2709  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@coasttal123 no to get those you have to have the all inclusive which when we were there was $200 a person if you had platinum or higher status.

    David, we will be there in a few days. Did you feel restricted in only getting your meals in the 2 restaurants on the plan you got. We are thinking of doing the same plan you did. I look forward in hearing from you. Thanks

      Yes that’s correct we couldn’t go to
      The Japanese restaurant or the adult pool bar with what we chose.

    Thank you for this informative video about the food. What if we want to eat dinner at the Japanese restaurant for just a night? Can we pay that a la cart? Also, is drinking water complimentary or extra? Thank you

    • @traveldavid2709
      @traveldavid2709  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Great question MC. Yes you can go to the japanese restaurant or any of them and pay ala cart. They do charge for water. We told them before going that we were big water drinkers and they stocked up our room with a ton of bottles of it but when not on plan we had to pay, I believe $5 for the water.

      @@traveldavid2709 thank you for answering my questions. With $5 a bottle of water, i suppose it would be a steal deal just to go with a meal plan so water will be included. 😝 also, is there a discount on meal plans at the Gold Marriott Bonvoy reward level? Thank you.

    • @traveldavid2709
      @traveldavid2709  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@mcvu4270 it was $5 one time per meal for unlimited. My understanding was the discount was for platinum and above.

    Hi David, thank you for sharing! We are going to Le Meridien coming November. Question related to the meal plans. I'm Titanium member so I'm getting 20% discount on F&B but does this apply to both ordering from the menu and to the meal plans? As in, is the meal plan 125 - 20% = 100 dollars? Trying to work out for myself what kind of deal we would take (meal plan or not).

    • @traveldavid2709
      @traveldavid2709  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      When we went it was only for ordering a la Carte. You may double check if they still offer the discount for titanium, I saw an article recently that implied that was going away.

    • @B3ezy
