I find your wood cutting content very peaceful and relaxing. You seem to do more in a day than most people accomplish in a lifetime. 😊 I really enjoy your videos minus the trolls of course. Keep doing what you’re doing and we’ll keep watching. 😅😊❤
So.... if we complain we get more woodcutting videos? Awesome, i'll get right on that. Nah, i cant do it, you work so hard, all you do on the Farmstead, AND the videos you gift us with. I just want to thank you. I enjoy your content a lot, no matter what you do. And a happy new year to you and Melissa.
Happy New Year!!!! Nice to see you again, still working hard I see. Enjoy your Christmas party.. It's nice when the whole family gets together. Stay safe and have a great day.👍🤓👍🤓.Randy.
Thanks for all the hard work you do to get a video out with all the cold and you being busy feeding and milking. That is some brutal cold you all have up there. People down here in Texas are crying about some of that front coming down, then I think it's nothing compared to what you have up there. Prayers to Melissa's mother too Joe.
We love your videos and look forward to each time you upload! I love that you can care less about the negative nellies and their hateful comments. Those people are everywhere! Glad you can ignore them. Will Melissa fly to her mom’s? I know all that driving is difficult. Hope all is well and getting better by the day!!
Wowsa, the little bull isn’t so little anymore! He is really getting big! He’s about to start pulling you around Joe! Actually looks like he can! I’m 62 yrs old and sometimes my buddy and me will help an older friend of his brand and take care of her calf’s. Some of the calves are bulls and need fixed! We. Should actually video that every time we do it. I imagine it would get a few laughs with 4 over 60 men and women branding giving shots to and fixing young calves! She also doesn’t have the best of fences and we have to move them from her property to other summer grazing lands and sometimes those bigger, older heifers will just push themselves past us older people right through an unsecured fence! Good times! Keep up with your awesome content!
There’s always a scroll button, lol, I , on the other hand, find all you’re videos enjoyful, we are always capeable of learning more, bring it on Joe, and keep cutting wood, lol, or whatever makes you happy, we love it all! NS watchers 😂
Wow Joe and Melissa, I can't believe you guys did get more snow down there. We got hit big time up here. The Is tractor is still running great 👍. Take care my friends ❤❤.
My dad’s cousin had an orchard model international tractor,it had solid cast iron front wheels. We got them when he got rid of the tractor, used them for back wheel weights, real heavy
hey Joe my suggestion for the 1/3 cup of extra milk would be to put it in a bowl and put it in the trailer house for your out door kitties instead of wasting it down the drain, i am sure they would really appreciate the treat for payment on them doing there job of catching and ridding the Farm of mice, its not much or maybe an often treat but i know the kitties would sure appreciate it , just an idea for you guys to limit waste, i think i saw Mesa and Festus dancing in the pasture with lamp shades on there heads lol Happy New Year to all of you.
I wish I could say everything is back to normal. I returned home from my remote cabin on Jan 1 and my waterline was frozen. I've been trying to get it thawed but it's still frozen. ugh!!!!
I have been where you are. Usually in this situation, in the back of your mind, you know exactly what needs to be done (like I did in this video) but instead you do the easier route hoping it works. Lol. It usually never does. When i worked out in ND in travel trailers I learned all there was to learn about thawing water lines. Lots of heat (250,000 btu salamander heater with lots of fuel) and enclose the area.
I have an upstairs powder room with the pipe to the toilet is on an outer wall. Previous owner did that. Froze up two years Christmas Day ago. I got it thawed but it was work. I wrapped the sink pipes and added extra insulation last year. But the toilet pipe you cannot get to. I need some major plumbing with 2 new toilets done come spring.
i wanna see alot more in depth woodcutting and splitting its very relaxing watching you cut wood knowing i switched to propane and dont have to cut wood anymore
My grandson said, you like watching that guy don’t you, and does he fish? I said yes, fishes deer hunts and sets up one heck of a duck camp. He has a TH-cam channel mostly about bass fishing, he doesn’t put a lot of effort into it though. Keep the videos coming, I enjoy them all.
Hey Joe. I believe it would really benefit you to invest in a pickaroon. It would really help you to move those logs around without compromising your back or a getting a hernia. Anyway, love the videos.
@@GraceBaker-x9fbe grateful cause here in Shelbyville Tennessee its 32 and colder then my ex husbands! Well 2 have passed but there's still that 1 out there somewhere, lol!
stay warm. my little piece of heaven is on the northside of that storm.. anywhere from 5" to 12" of snow, depending how it tracks. maybe some sleet and or a 1/10" of ice. then we go to the deep freeze.
AW22 or 32 hydraulic oil is recommended, but automatic transmission fluid can be used in temperatures below 32°F. In colder conditions, use a lower viscosity oil like ISO-32 or AW-32, and in hotter temperatures, use a higher weight oil like ISO-46 or AW-46.
Hey Joe, I read that if a cow is pregnant on the right side it’s most likely a male calf. Be interesting to see if that is true. Great video, thanks much!
You are busy. We are expecting a cold snap for the next several days, lows in the twenties, highs in the forties, my back porch is full with wood. I keep 8-10 cords on hand and usually burn about five cord every winter.
Having Xmas with all 3 of my kids and grandkids tomorrow. I’m ok with waiting. Best for last. lol. Flip side I’m sorry to hear Miss Susie isn’t doing well and all that goes with that. Still no normal snow in the north but big one on middle US. Planes…
I guess my answer to the complaints is that if you dont like the content rather than act like a spoiled 12 yo. Maybe just move on. I live in Mn. Cutting wood is a way to keep warm. For everyone. And the animals. Its vital to their health and well-being. If you dont understand that just move on. You wont be missed or followed by anyone who has a brain. Joe I've loved your channel and all content for years. Keep it up. You know if you don't do it many worse things can happen. Thanks for sharing the great content you have.

Ok, I'm going to make a comment that you dont relax enough. Will you make a video of you relaxing? lol Just kidding! I dont want you to keel over from relaxing. I just wanted to match the woodcutting comments 😉Today was so brutally cold. Sadly Im sure it's headed your way. Stay busy/stay warm 🔥

Looking at the weather app, you are about to get dumped on. Exciting. If it is going to be winter, its best when it acts like winter. Lol.
When you were milking Mesa it looked like the baby calf was pretty active in her belly 😊
Happg new year Joe and Mellisa.

That china buffet has to be one of the best ones my wife and I have ever been to.
Looks like flights are around $250 ish RT right now out of Minneapolis. Any consideration to flying instead

Why is the calf coughing? He is so cute on the leash. Always great videos. ❤
He is still recovering from pneumonia. It has been explained in many previous videos.
Add some excitement Joe. How about adding about 30 minutes of paint drying.......

Feed the calf his milk in a bucket. He will drink it that way.
Are you still saving the saw dust for the milking station??

HOW MUCH WOOD DO YOU PURCHASE IN A YEAR AND HOW MUCH DOES IT COST? JUST WONDERING.

Hope you warm up those milking machine bits before you attach them.
Heated barn
What are you going to feed the calf if you stop milking Mesa ?
Like I said in this video, we are not feeding her Mesa milk anymore, we are feeding it 22-20 calf milk replacer.
Joe and i think same way. December 21 and then going up. More daylight.
Is it ever too cold for the cows to be outside even in the shed?
Do you use any additives in your gas during the cold winter days for the splitter?
@@beckyumphrey2626 he is referring to possible water in the gas and adding additives to keep the moisture out of the gas
