Whoopi is my favorite actress. She is the first actress who made me LAUGH as a kid (The Lion King) and made me cry as a teenager when I saw The Color Purple...she also had me and siblings in the living room pretending to be the kids in Sister Act 2 lol love her much she's been a part of lots of memories.

I love Whoopi she is such a legend who is always down to earth and never ceases to make the people around her feel special. She is an exquisite soul. Sherri embodies many of the same qualities. Both have this extraordinary talent for making their viewers feel "seen" I love how they are 100% inclusive, they embrace everyone equally. On a side note: I have been saying this for years--- but Whoopi should have won the Oscar for her portrayal of Celie in The Color Purple! (The movie should have won too--- not to mention Steven Spielberg's phenomenal direction of the film).

I really enjoyed this interview. Whoopi is a good actress and a good interviewee however I don't like her on The View (she's too good to stoop to that negative level for a paycheck). I wish she'd leave and just be an amazing person outside of that show.
