I just bought this and I can't get the last piece in. Watching the video that is NO DOUBT they didnt have the whole thing assembled to get that last piece in.
Any recommendations on getting that last piece in? The other 3 pieces went on just fine, but getting that last piece in the corner slider is much harder than originally thought. Is it better to use the shorter rod or longer rod for the slider piece? Or does it matter? Thanks!
Okay for the last leg- it will be easier with a second person I bet, but I live alone so: stand up. stand the bed on its end so you can put one foot on one of the assembled legs to hold it down, and you are holding the other leg. Then AT THE SAME TIME: pull the bar towards the slot and push the leg to meet the bar. If I didn’t also push the leg, the bar would not have been able to drop into the slot. I thought I’d be able to disassemble to wash the sling but nope, not dealing with this again. It does perfectly sit in a 42” crate, and you can get it in the crate as long as you put it through the door on the short side. I had to pull her crate out, since we use the door on the long side. Thankfully I got this bed for $16 at Walmart, so even with the hassle it was worth it the price.
Thank you. Standing on it is how I got the seemingly impossible task done. I was at it for many tries. I think that helped stretch the fabric a tad. I’m a 75 yr old disabled female.

Im a 30 year old woman and it’s physically impossible to open the slide lock corner piece
you have to get a man or use leverage to get it in I had to man handle it to get the last piece in.
The last piece doesnt slide in place that easy its almost like its too long for it to go in nicely
