had a similar problem at teamsport birmingham years back, the ramp is steep and people werent accelerating up it depite being told adamantly to do so in the briefing alot of yellow and red flags during my session with that group, had barely any actual track time got maybe half the normal number of laps in a session and half of those laps were under yellow flag
I get you both as some people are just a bit flustered, then there are others who will take no notice in the briefing whispering and laughing with their mates then go on to drive round on red flags and speed on yellows overtaking everybody Drive off before it’s time Turn the wrong way out the pits I take a lot of people for the 1st time so go in their briefing with them and I see it all the time and can tell who is going to be causing and ignoring flags

Lol, love the waiting back at 13:00 and then taking the double pass. Was pretty clear you were surrounded by rookie drivers, so it was an easy bet that you'd be able to come through them on inside with more speed. Always tricky trying to navigate traffic with noobs.

Is the view better ? Worse ? Or not even noticeable that it’s any different ? I personally prefer the chin mount in super wide as I feel it give the best sense of speed and mount just below visor gives a view closer to what I see In the kart Look forward to hearing your views
I honestly don’t have that problem, I tilt the helmet slightly to see better sometimes by pulling the chin down a bit but obviously not while in it be kart
i remember the session i had at the cardiff venue, there’s was two elite drivers on the track with us, and i remember thinking to myself i’m going to follow their pace, and by doing that i actually got a time fast enough to become an elite driver myself
It’s all learning every time, im at Nottingham tonight in 4 random grid races, my friend is still relatively new and him being passed and having faster people to follow will be the best practise for him

They only have to start them a few times a day on busy days If I lived closer to TeamSport sheff or Notts (I’m about the same distance from both) I’d love to work there
@@quited579 These are most likely Briggs & Stratton 4 stroke lawn mower engines. These are not 2 stroke engines, even though back in the day 2 stoke lawn mower engines did exist too. I do understand the posters frustration, but you got to understand these are mickey mouse fun carts, not real racing carts. If you want to test your metal, race real carts on a proper outdoor track. No use in getting upset driving mickey mouse brigs and stratton powered bumper carts on a mickey mouse indoor track.
They have member nights and the pace difference is much smaller even though the faster guys and girls are much faster The normal ultimate race experience sessions would be impossible to split into pace and I turn up fully expecting to have to navigate a bit of traffic I was part of the slower traffic one day and I got addicted lol and I’m still traffic to the quick drivers now just I now know the track so I’d like to think I’m not dangerous to them
It my first time go karting 3 days ago but I listen really red light I stopped I less I was at the ramp yellow slow down no over taking just need to learn the layout of the track

@@jackjeff4646 your only ever racing you self especially In those sessions anyway bud but 6th is decent Try not to get caught up racing people as it’s lap time that’s important The slower you are under yellow the more space ahead you will have to set a clean lap time If it’s TeamSport you went to you should make yourself a member as it pays for itself with a free session for your bday worth more than the membership plus you get discount and earn free goes from loyalty points (my next visit is free) but mainly because members nights on Monday are best to learn on Rapid guys who will be passing you a lot but you try and follow and learn from them and you soon realise the kart is much more capable than you think

Regarding carbon monoxide poisoning There is plenty of ventilation in these warehouses that teamsport have the indoor tracks in All indoor tracks have to have a top of the range detection system in place too That being said all teamsport venues are going electric in the next few years but mainly due to cost and because it’s greener I believe
