- A short film about Glenda Powell, a world champion fly casting instructor in Ireland. It evokes her love of rivers and she recalls the people who sparked her lifelong fascination with fly fishing. A gentle, slow-moving film which was recorded along the Blackwater River.

This is poetry in motion. As I contemplate the heat of the West Australian Summer now approaching I think about the times I spent fishing on the river Nore and the Blackwater. Really great to see this Video, Glenda taught Me how to use My SAGE Double Handed Rod, a good few years ago, Unfortunately for Me, I now live in Perth Western Australia cos of Work, I Miss Home in Cork and I miss Fly fishing on the Blackwater and the Inniscarra Dam, where I caught Most of My Fish. Thanks for sharing this

Great video! I'm also a fly fisher lady and enjoy fishing salmon on the Miramichi River , NB Canada . Hopefully I will get to fly fish in Ireland some day!
