I went to the concert 2 days before this was filmed in Bradford, UK. I got to meet Michael afterwards, and can tell you he was sober and clean, and in great spirits
I’ll bet Phil Moog regrets punching Michael now ! Michael Schenker is one of the most underrated guitarist ever but 1 of my all time favorites he kicks ass !!
In more than one inteviews I've heard or read with people, who had worked with Michael, it appears that, as the genius he is, he was also a bit of a pain in the lower back to work and deal with when he was younger. And when you see how many years it took for Kiske and Weiki(for example) to put their issues behind, you see the ammount of ego these guys have when they are younger.
Protective film still on the pickguard, hand markered signs haphazardly taped to the amps, needle track marks on his arms and hand -- not Schenker's best period, but he persevered and almost 20 years now after this was filmed, Michael is playing better than ever and actually enjoys it
@@ExtremeWays4Bourne Michael Schenker is one of my favorites of all time .. In no way did I mean to seem harsh, I was more trying to make the point that Michael has persevered and overcome a lot of hardship .. So in addition to his brilliant guitar talents, I find his resolve inspiring too ... If you have not done so alrady, check out UFO's "Strangers In The Night" live album, Michael's "Assault Attack" album with Grahan Bonnet, The Scorpion's "Lovedrive" album ( Michael is all over that one, more so than credited for ) ... Michael did a bunch of solo/acoustic albums titled "Thank You" which are very good ... He and Pete Way put out a great album about 20 years ago under the band name "The Plot", and I love that album. with Pete on vocals ..... Michael was fantastic on the track "All The Way From Memphis" when he worked with Contraband ( there's an official video for that one ) .... so much great stuff from Michael ... all the UFO albums from the 1970s are classic
@@lucasvonbraun Thank you for the recommendations. I am definitely going to check all of them out. He's fantastic. And I love that unique stance he has on stage.
I saw Schenker during this era, and at one point during his solo in Rock Bottom, that bass player was leaning on the amps and yawned -- probably the biggest douche I have ever seen onstage
70's and 80's musicians are the best!!!
Absolutely indeed
WITHOUT A DOUBT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If he could play like this at that stage, I wonder what he's like when in better shape. (I am new to Schenker)

If Vikings had electric guitars they would look like this lot....
I think they would!
Pete Holmes on drums!! PLEASE !
Just wonder, why Iron Maiden, before staring playing, introduction this song? please an answer 🙏
UFO is one of Steve Harris' biggest influences. But I don't know why Doctor Doctor as opposed to Lights Out in London or Too Hot to Handle.
Is he Michael ? I think his action and eye contact is different from the original ... I doubt it
Майкл. Просто в его жизни тогда были трудности.
😁!
What about the drummers name?
Pete Holmes
Кто вокалист?
I guess the drummer wasn't worth mentioning in the credits!
👏🇺🇦✊
Doesn’t top ufo strangers in the night tour

Poor singer
Singer really should put all that horrible white flab away. Bass player looks like a tool, too.
