The Samsung A23 is very reliable. I have dropped it on concrete and wooden floors, and there isn't a single scratch or performance loss. The battery lasts a long time, and the charging is really fast. I have had this phone since release, and I don't plan on getting another in the next 2 years unless I somehow manage to break this phone, which I would have to do on purpose 😂. I've played online games like COD and Minecraft and the performance is amazing. The 5G connection gives me a smooth frame rate at 60fps on the Xbox Game Pass app. I have played on Xbox Game Pass even on my Straight Talk phone plan. There is no need to buy a $1000 to $2000 phone unless you're just after fancy new features or a 4k resolution.

Samsung is slowly making their budget phones have less face value; specs/hardware being lower than its competitors. Probably because a huge portion of what we're paying for is going to software. This may be a strategy of theirs to encourage us to pay more. But to be fair, Samsung phones seem to stay good or even better after a few years because of software support.
