👌 I've compared price and features of all compact 4 mtr. sedan cars with Ameo Highline plus. I've found that this is best with all kind of salient features. So, purchased in October and driving in city and highway. I feel the safety, stability and smoothness while driving. No doubt that this is the best compact sedan and the sales and service of the dealership is excellent. 👍

Actually Volkswagen is something in its own name. No one can object it. But Indian people run only after the stylish hot looking and fancy featured car that's why ameo is not at top. But I think its very good.
Gave thumbs up vth out watching, but very neatly explained. Awesome explanation. Ur home work is visible. Own an Ameo TDI 18 model, comfortline. But let me tell u it gives an average mileage of 24-25 vth AC on 1 & 27-29 vth out AC on high ways albeit vth light pedal, smooth & intelligent driving.
I have Ameo 1.5 TDI , the back push on driver seat when you accelerate is class apart , Its a driver's car and has no comparison with its competitors !!

There are a lot of idiots who drive with their high-beam on... liked the subtle way you said it. Someone had to say it, it's blinding with the advent of led lights
Thanks for the review, very well done, precise and compact just like the car. Very underrated car but I feel is the best sub compact sedan in the market even today. I have the DSG TDI highline plus model and it's loaded to the gill. The DSG is simply the best automatic available. The TC, CVTs do not even come close to the DSG. AMTs available in India are all jerky has delays in upshift and downshift and results in noticable head nod and the creep function is a sham. Automatic transmission without a hill hold is a pain to drive and Ameo has that as well and some more (TCS, TC, HLA, ABS EBD , BA). I have taken my Ameo to Ooty via the Kalahatti ghat and it made it easily. I fail to understand why companies like VW and Ford do not focus on better part availability and CS support. We Indians deserve better cars, not tin boxes from companies whose boss feels safety is not for us.
Nothing justifies the poor service and after sales service of this car. Bought it, driven it for something 2 years and sold it. Not the happiest customer. The quality of the car is good but the practicalities see missing. When you say you get all the basics covered in this car, remember you're paying 9.99 lacs to get only the "basics" covered. Their after sales service is probably the worst here in Chandigarh. Can't say about other cities.

It would be no big problem. Because the brand will continue to offer spare parts. Just check on the warranty bits and you would be sorted.

Well, with annual maintenance package, it is debatable.
Basic service for the Ameo (P) was around 11k when I had it done last month so you can guess.
