แต่เด็กสามกับมันเกลียดเพลงชาติ
มีเพียงประเทศไทยเท่านั้น ที่ยืนเคารพธงชาติ ในเวลา 8.00 และ 18.00 นอกจากนี้ ไม่มีประเทศใหนทำแบบประเทศไทย มีเพียงกำพูชาที่อ้างประเทศไทยทำตามพวกเขา แต่ความจริง เป็นแค่ กำพูชาเลียนแบบประเทศไทย เพราะกำพูชาเป็นประเทศเกิดใหม่ไม่มีวัฒนธรรม

Singing the national anthem in front of the flagpole is probably the daily routine of Thai students. Because singing the national anthem involves singing lyrics that indicate the history of Thailand. It also indicates the identity of the Thai nation. In 1934, it was the year that Thailand had its first national anthem. At that time it was still called the "Siamese National Anthem", then in 1939 it was changed to the "Thai National Anthem". The flag salutation occurred in the era of "Field Marshal P" on September 14, 1942. This is an important day on which the Thai government officially specifies the time to stand and salute the national flag at 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Previously, in 1935, the authorities had issued a law for people to stand and salute the national flag before. But it was not popular at all.
The important turning point that caused the national flag to stand saluted came from a radio program before National Day. Radio was the most important state advertising tool at that time. The gist of the program is something like, “At 8:00 a.m. it is the time to raise the national flag to the top of the mast throughout the Kingdom. This is the most important time of our day. The Department of Advertising has issued an announcement inviting government officials and citizens everywhere to stand up straight. To show respect for the Thai flag for 5 seconds or until the playing of the national anthem by radio broadcast has ended or until other signals for raising the national flag have ended." In this program, the appointment was made for the people to stand upright. To salute the national flag together on September 14, 1942, the first day, along with further mentioning in the program that “This morning, we opened a new chapter in the life of the Thai nation. Another aspect is respecting the national flag, which is a very important aspect. Because it unites the minds of the entire nation, unites the minds of the entire nation towards national independence. and the nation's highest honor is embodied in the Thai flag. Even though we made an appointment a few days in advance. But the collective results were very pleasing.

After the change of regime from the absolute monarchy change to democracy The Prime Minister of Thailand at that time wanted to create a nationalist Thailand which conflicted with the regime. But the people cannot do it. But at present there is no compulsion to stand upright and salute the national flag. But people still stood because it was their duty. There will be some people who hate Thailand for not standing upright and saluting the national flag. But there is no force, order, or harm because it is considered a personal right.
