If you then get married you will also need to: increase income, be excellent at administration and finances, be a good father, share domestic duties equally whilst also taking all responsibility for maintaining and decorating the home and all smelly or dirty chores, and be the sole protector of the home willing to die or go to prison for her.
If you do all these, from essentials to marital requirements, you will have a decent 50% chance at having a reasonably happy wife who won't cheat on you or divorce you (at least until you get old, sick, sent abroad with work or service, lose your job, or if an even better guy comes along).

Well it is very simple. In the deep south they have something the the rest of the Western Culture lacks and that is "Tradition" or "A Strong Belief Value". Sadly though, these girls are moving away from it too.
