They need to reinforce the underground section with wood or mud bricks.. Or they could use mud and them set the hole on fire to harden the mud and make it water resistant.
Good video but underground houses don't protect you from predators snakes, spiders, ect you should houses above the ground cleaner and your less likely to be attacked stung or bitten
