I’m not sure when to use each tactic and when or if I should change them in game
Seems odd Neil but for the past week I’ve been using 442 with literally 0 player Instructions and everything 50-50 balanced no direct passing. I’m div 1 and found I’m spanking teams a lot easier than when I’m using direct passing and all the player instructions.
I just feel like the movement is better throughout the pitch and I’m convinced direct passing creates the same passages of play constantly which makes it easy to read. It’s an odd one, I also had my best WL on weekend just gone using same setup
i also noticed that i've been playing better after switching from direct passing to balanced, did they finally nerf it?
Sometimes you can find that it helps you reset because when you change tactics "psychologically" you play different as its something new, but I would its your level here, so if someone else is watching this, this may not work. Remember, PROS can play with everything on Balanced, I have always told you give a pro any tactic and a gold team, and give a casual user a god squad and the "best tactics ever tailored for them", the PRO will always win. Basics + Fundamentals OVER everything.
Movement is better in final third with DP and FR imho, unless you are specifically triggering manually in certain situations in which balanced may be better, but this would be rare.
@@NealGuides yes I agree movement does lack slightly at times in the final 3rd but more so from by 2 strikers. That would or could be helped by having them on get in behind. I just thought I’d reset tactics and see what the players are actually doing in certain formations before applying any instructions. Also I’m an avid lb/rb run user so maybe balanced just works well for me atm. Still struggle slightly with right stick switch can’t find the right sensitivity.
@@KeepingIt-vi9xv try to focus more on L1 triggers, force the movement yourself with aspects like triggering runs, or for more in-depth creative runs or player locks to create movement, but ideally two strikers is ideal its why I dont really like the 4231 for pure attacking this year.
Kidna need help man I’m in div 1 I get 9 wins in WL usually I’m good on attack but defending wise I struggle to win the ball and lose to people I shouldn’t be losing too

Bro I use to get 9 lol now I have a better team I get 8 the last 3 weeks lol make it make sense! Also km div 3 player. Nick lad if you read this reach out to me if I pay you money you actually gonna make me a better player then div3 . I have never actually been able to improve in this game if anything I'm struggling lot more in this eafc game 😢

Ill be honest, try to reduce the depth, dont play aggressive, focus on your CDMs, I would probably change to a formation like 4231/352 as you have CDMS, they sit deeper (see my 3-5-2 video as i explain this), if you are struggling to win the ball, being aggressive is not going to help, it wil create more gaps, otherwise you can use my 4-2-4 to win the ball back only if you need to remember the key here
Defending’s simpler than u think. The mindset’s simple. “Make ur opponent second guess”. Keep ur defensive shape, Force bad passes, heavy touches., create 2 on 1 situations etc. Also Width and Depth are important.If play aggressive, increase ur depth. If u play cautious, lower ur depth. Width is how wide defensive shape is. High width cuts off passes to the wide players leaving passing angles through the middle and low width is vice versa. So u want to balance depth & width to ur defending style. Hope this helps👍
I copied your 4321 tactics to my own 4222 tactics and they worked perfectly until a week ago when I found that opponents found it extremely easy to beat my press and they were abusing the switch ball, any advice?
Its the best way to beat press switching the ball and using the gk, keep using it just remember as soon as it switches the ball, you press the winger on the otherside to restrict your opponent and put them under pressure

Hey Neal, I’ve really been struggling with the game this year have been 11-14 wins player for like 10 years now but I just can’t get anything going this year 😂 Any recommendations for tactics for old gen? The game just plays so much worse for me on new gen etc, but I’m not certain on the actual different game play mechanics between new and old so not sure if I’m struggling due to trying tactics etc that don’t really work on old gen. Thanks

Game is fake asf ive tried to improve since fifa 16 but i am horrific and its the games fault cos its so inconsistent and its actually not skill based. If the game wants you to win it will make you if not just sit back and observe the comedic performance that your team will do

@@KeepingIt-vi9xv If you want people to improve, you need to be truthful, and I speak facts, hence why my audience is older (my average viewer is like 30-40, not some 10 year old kids who want hyperactive content). My job is to make you better and tell you truth, not to lie to you.
I am here to teach, if you think the tactics are bad, or in his case "not good", when they have been independently tested by various people/levels and blaming them when really its your gameplay. Should I instead be like every creator "no dont worry, just wathc my new tactics video next week that will work!!!" this is why people are stuck and never improve. You need to face facts if you run out with your CB and make basic mistakes it dosent matter WHAT formation you use.
You come to me to learn, and facts, not to do some facial reactions and smiling for entertainment.
Alright before i agreed i tried the formation in the video and i finally won after a 9 game streak 💀💀 def a skill issue with the formation mate
