Among the fc24 tips videos i watched on youtube, this channel was very useful! Auto subscribe. Good job bro and thank you so much 😊 mean alots to me.
Against Ultimate difficulty in career mode, all these don't just work. There are some games, you just can't mark the opponent. No matter how hard you try. Your defenders can't catch their attackers, your attackers just can't outrun their defenders. Also if you try to manage the game by keeping possession, the game will make you lose possession for no reason by making your player misplace a simple 2 yards pass that even a blind grandma wouldn't misplace, then boom, you get countered. Sometimes all your defenders will just get missing then you find yourself 3 vs 1 in defense. Then from the 75th minute or thereabout, if you're leading, the A.I will begin to press high, for some unknown reason, they don't run out of stamina, and your players begins to misplace simple passes, it is almost impossible to play through their press at that point in the game. At that point in the game, I'd just sim to the end. Thankfully the score line remains the same most times.
This is exactly what makes me mad about this sh!t game. As you correctly say, there are games that it's impossible to win a contrast and your defense is made of idiots watching the AI playing and scoring from every position and entering the penalty area with no effort. This game is a failure because it is no fun to play, just pure frustration where the AI clearly cheats to win, making any tactics, modules or schemes absolutely pointless. FC24 is just an unhealthy activity.

I feel like crying reading this cos this is exactly what I’m going through, I restart about 8 times every single game
what i realize is, the total chemistry + total OVR will determine the rate of error/effectiveness in game. 90 OVR will have better effectiveness slipping thru defences and lesser error from AI when defending and when player passes, compared to let say an 88 OVR with 33 Chemistry. attackers with flair or flair plus will have like a 1 time chance to evade perfect tackle.
Skill… issue
I feel the mechanics this year just don't make sense. Every aspect of the game is bad. Defending, why are attackers better at winning the ball back more efficiently than defenders. It's hard enough to line up a good tackle just to get a knock back in favour of the attacker. Passing, why can you backwards pass the length of the pitch but can't pass the easiest goal scoring opportunitys. Shooting seems to be only thing that seems to be ok. Kinda balanced IMO. Just the movement and glitch mechanics make this a horrendous game. Even when I'm winning it's not enjoyable. But I will continue to play this intil a new football game comes out which will rival EA. Let's hope goals or UFL are good and then we might see EA making a good balanced non pay to win game

Advance defense really helps, especially the shoulder press to get players off balance
The controls of the defending player are way off imho. Its not hard to read of track your opponent with a bit of distance, but en FC24 it feels like the defenders are programmed to perform clumsy and snappy. Its like making a racing game where the cars snap you if you are drifting. Its not realistic. The movement of a defender and attacker should be more equal.

It always feels too hectic, like too many players around the ball and not enough space to even pass. Its really poor at the moment, hope it gets a fix
Playing in career mode is impossible. Even a well timed tackle ends up with the ball bouncing back to their attacker.
Your defenders run like they are stuck in mud, yet when your attacker is yards ahead of their defender, they somehow manage to catch up and tackle you from behind just as you’re about to shoot.
What also doesn’t help is how bad the goalkeeping is. Its gone back to FIFA98 with over exaggerated diving. The GK just palms it straight back to attackers or into his own net. And any really slow soft shots end up as a goal…
Its the worst game they have made in a long time. I dont know how it even got through DEV

That's actually a good thing. Now people cannot rely on AI to defend for them. Defending finally becomes a skill in FC

@@nonleague8613 lol good joke, just because of that one instance being less automated does not change how AI dependent depending still is. AI auto pressing is still strong.
Jockey strafe speed/recovery is worse (as proven in this video), and better jockeying is locked behind a playstyle. Possession based tackles are locked behind playstyles. So to manually defend at your best you need those specific players, not just players with high defensive stats.
Not sure how "defending finally becomes a skill" is anywhere close to being true. If anything attacking is too easy and has gotten easier now. But no one complains about that lmao

@@nonleague8613 thats stupid imo. You alrady have to focus on positioning and what not. Hving to press the tackle button inside the penalty can lead to a disaster. Knowing how buggy these games always are, your player is more likely to miss and take out the other player than anything
It's stupid that you have to control each and every defender yourself, or they just stand there. This makes player career mode unplayable.
My guy is a striker, 6'4 and 200lbs and just runs through everyone picking the ball up in defense.
But my team just watch opposition strikers run past them.... I want my money back! :(
That is what i love the game about it now, you can control everything yourself.
I have a request - this is something that no FUT channels ever do…. So something like, “use this formation/tactics if you struggle with ______ (scoring, or defending, or beating the press, or don’t use skill moves…” Stuff like that that is going to help people a lot more specifically than channels that just give “META TACTICS” that are going to only help D1+ players. There isn’t a lot- if any at all- of channels putting the work in to help people that are struggling with particular facets of the game.
And you won’t be limiting your audience- I’d say the exact opposite- because there aren’t that many “areas” that people could even be struggling in. Everyone is relatively confident in certain parts of the game, and a lot less confident in others. “Struggling to keep possession,” and “struggling against the press,” and “struggling to score outside the box” and “struggling to score inside the box” are all subjects that a huge swath of people can relate to and would definitely benefit from having tips on specific areas, and tactics to use if struggling in those areas. I specifically (for example) really struggle to get my attack going after intercepting the ball. I’m fairly good at defense but fairly bad at keeping possession and setting up an attack. Once I do get near the goal though I score pretty consistently. So stuff like that. 😊 love the channel btw!!!
I love the game man. It so easy to intercept passes when you are reading you are opponent. I can hardly concede.
Kickoff goals suck ass literally everytime I score I conceded right after the kick off
Same, the opposing player hasn't done a single thing until I score, he didn't even score from the kick off at the start of the half, then as soon as I score he scores straight from kick off

I need party trick in fc24 that can impress some girls man, not just some random people. But I think it's crucial to have Bruiser playstyle for the advance defending. Without it, the opponents player just won't budge.
The casuals will hate this game I feel, What needed nerfing was the auto drop back and auto blocks not player controlled defending. Defenders feel extremely sluggish and slower than ever. It encourages everyone to defend with attackers to have a compact defensive approach to the game. Not a fan so far.
got the same issue nobody will manually control their cbs so they constantly hold a solid formation and auto block every shot. even when you get a shot past the keeper will save because the you can only shoot from the most petite angle. having to try score on these rat players is impossible, especially having to do all this whilst dribbling past the only player they’re controlling in their cms plus the crazy second man press they get. fkd stupid thanks for the rant
I can barely tell a difference between jockey speeds. Normal jockey and your player is all over the place. It should slow your player down completely and limit their movement. The amount of times you jockey inside the box and then one side step and shot and you concede. Go back about 5 years and defending was 20 times better
My best option is calling the 2nd defender to close down runs
Guys don’t use auto tackle because it gives the defender a mind of his own for example you can’t shoulder barge on demand and interceptions have a mind of their own like you can press it as much as u want but the computer will only let it happen when it wants it to happen as soon as I turned off auto tackle I noticed a massive difference it feels way better like your In more control everything else in the video is spot on except for this nice job bro very informative 💯
The game is much easier to defend if you play Efootball. (Advance defending) Just make sure you cover the other player they want to pass to instead of running to the player that has the ball, try to read passes and intercept them, you have to be ahead of the opponent before he even makes a pass. Don’t give space at all. You have to predict which way he has to go while you are closer to him and use the shoulder to make him unbalance. Time your pushes, tackles and when to press for example , you wait in front of the player with ball while running back using the same speed as him, then all of sudden charge at him by either tackling or pushing him when he is least expecting it.

I know how to deffend , making traps , i understand how to use space on the pitch but ... Defenders instead of tackling the ball or opposite player , they just put their foot 2 m front or behind the ball and that's why its impossible. Any advice ??? Im talking about ultimate diff. Otherwise its just too easy

Yeah bro, I don't understand too. When I'm attacking the defenders from the opponent steals my ball always and when the opponent attack I can't steal the ball also I can't catch them because they are really too fast.
When you say R1/RB button, do you mean R1 and RB button twice together?
Or you mean either R1 or RB button twice and hold it?
R1 is correct PlayStation and RB is for XBOX so he's giving the example for the button on both consoles

In fifa 23 I maybe lost 4-5 games in fut champion. This weekend so far I lost all 10 matches😢
I think the auto tackles is just a mechanic issue like last year when lengthy was better than explosive at the beginning and they will improve it in the next patch.

Interesting thought, but I don't think so. The auto tackle range is something that EA is closely monitoring. Over the course of the last 2 years and the last iterations of FIFAs they had different approaches and also several patches that changed the auto tackle range. So I think they are fully aware what they released this year.
I would also bring up that right now we're playing with worse players than we ended FIFA 23 with. Every CB hat 99 standing tackle and 99 reactions. I think this contributes quite heavily to the discrepancy we experience in that regard.

This game is not so ok. Minus passes ain't going through then reboud shots are so many. Keeper cannot get hold of the ball
Switch the play 100 times a game. Thats what you have to do now since most people are playing on 71 depth, it causes AI to do almost constant pressure without stamina loss.
Nonsense. We suck at defending because the mechanic for doing so I is completely out of context to the attacking.... its not OK in a game played by millions of people, I hate when I'm winning 13-0 and when I'm losing 13-0, it's absolutely horrific and doesn't deserve to be somehow lauded.

It’s the game, not our fault. I made division 1 last year. This year I can’t make out division 6 without playing god squads.
The defense is just terrible this year

Every player I play they tackle and take the ball instantly, also there's so much delay and so bad response from all my players. Its definitely fifa. No other game does this. Thanks fifa for making the decision easier to not play it😊
They have made defending almost impossible while shooting has got much easier. So basically they wanted way more goals. But tbh this is just a worse game, really regret wasting my money even if it was half off

On Fifa 23 I didn't seem to do too badly in online seasons. Yeah I lost a couple of games in a row. This game soul destroying. I lost 12 games in a row yesterday, then I won a game by default because my opponent quit when he went a goal down at the end of the first half, which I felt was an evenly matched half. Penalties are given far too easily (I tapped X to kick the ball from the attacking players foot to a player outside the box, which I did successfully; straight red and penalty conceded). The pause button doesn't work sometimes so can't make substitutions. The game is diabolical and should never have been released in the state it's in
Try to read passes and intercept passes, never come out running unless you are sure you will win the ball, and always get closer to the opponent by switching to the near by defender but most importantly it is all about timing and reading.
I hate that 60 pace defenders some how catch up to my 94 pace attacker this shit makes no sense

Tbh I’ve deleted the game. Way too much change. I went from winning 15 to 18 FUT champs in 23 To barely winning a game in division 8 on this fifa. Every game the scoreline is ridiculous. it must be the only game that people want to turn off after they win. I wish EA would just give it up now. the game has got progressively worse every year. And it was always gonna get to a point where I couldn’t play it anymore.

Its literally one of the slowest FIFA/FC titles ever. The passing is slower and the animations to execute them are slower.
Its exactly why everyone builds up play slowly and goes for cutbacks all game, thats what happens when you make the game slower.

he just said to jockey a secure the goal line in wide area.. this reduces the chance of cutbacks
Towards the end of the video there are literally two tips: Jockey and then use Partial team press (double tap and hold R1) so your defenders mark attackers tighter in the box

I sorta love the manual tackling and how we get punished for over committing. Kinda gives it a much needed skill gap.

there isnt any fix to it the mechanics of the game are dog crap, the optimisation for pc is SO AWFUL
