one of the best videos so far, I think you should have a round table video series where updates can be given on a monthly bases with each realtor experience and localized stories.

Thanks for talking about the hail storm- I moved from Cornerstone to Chestermere (before the 2ed hailstorm hit) and I was wondering what the impact was on all of the properties that were impacted.

I missed that part about the hailstorm. What was said about it if you don't mind?

Really hoping Calgary developers don’t turn our city into the same third-world dump Toronto has become.

I understand! I’m hoping we as a city learn from others wins and mistakes and can create an incredible city as we continue to grow

blanket rezoning, expect more traffic, higher density and a race to the bottom in unit size. Sucks the culture right out of the place.

We are in Country Hills, and our 3 bed, 1.5 bath, 1100sq f townhouse was only 250k. We rented it before it foreclosed so we were already acclimated. We love it here, and there is no chance you can get a townhouse in this area for that, maybe an apartment condo.

Prices of townhomes have shot up. Do you have a mortgage renewing in the coming year?

I'm soooo glad we moved to Chestermere early 2019. Big house prices were low, interest rates very low. Now our house is worth 400,000 more in the current market

You will regret every penny when your kids go to market for housing.
This is not money you should be happy for.

@voidcamp7312 I'm curious about your comment. "this is not money you should be happy for"... as in a home appreciated in value and the owners shouldn't be happy about that? Isn't that what home ownership is all about?

@@ChamberlainGroup I don’t think this is good for Canadians.
It only pushes the dream of living in a house away from the next generations and contributes to a housing crisis.
It is a legit investment, no other financial product would likely return the same amount of money. However, it causes a massive impact on first home buyers.

With high-interest rates, rapid housing price increases, and economic uncertainties, it is just way too risky to make a lifetime financial commitment at the moment. I'm ready, but I'm comfortable paying rent for a while

If you've got a great rental, then it could be best to stay there.

Money flow where the power is going. 2025 is a election year so Calgary will have a major price increase for next 3-5 years because of completely economy fundamental change.
