Same. I paid a "professional" yesterday to trim my hair. Specifically saying "cut whatever needs to go". I comb my hair down this morning... she still left one side longer than the other. I will watch TH-cam and fix this shit myself!

I’m so glad I watched this instead of paying money I don’t have for a salon to do it, I just mastered the silk press and I was considering having a professional trim my hair which is the obvious right choice but I feel like everyone should know at least the basics of doing their own hair so thank you for this video
Always wondered how stylists trimmed hair. Your video gave clear steps on how it's done. I saw another video and she only cut a small part of the split ends. You cut them all off and it turned out beautiful. Nice job!
This is by far the best video I’ve seen on trimming ones hair. I admit some more instruction on how to travel and cut evenly around the head would have been great.
I loved this video too. It was funny and relatable but I can agree with wanting short healthy hair rather than long damaged hair. I just wish people would understand this. And also I noticed my clients are afraid to cut their length in the beginning but once they start to trust me I let them know that a cut it definitely needed and they notice the difference. Good video 👍
So glad I found this video. I am in a different country than my hairdresser, she is the only one that has ever touched my hair and I love her. I haven't ever had a haircut from anyone else, and I refuse to 🙈 So I plan to do it myself 🤪 The majority of the videos on YT on how to trim your own hair are for people with straight cuts, and my hair is layered. I hope I get this right. This guide is all I needed 🥰 Thanks🙏🏽

I did my trim Monday, had more straggly ends then I thought so I did a big chop cutting off 4-5 inches. But it's bouncy and thick and looks so much better to me. You are inspiring, keep doing what you're doing ❤

I literally just watched your video because I’ve been wanting to know how to trim my ends without paying my stylist an arm and a leg every so often and I went to the bathroom and DID IT!!! Thanks a lot!!! I too have a silk press and have for about a year now. My hair is thick and your length and stubborn so I get it at least twice a year, but that is $400 a month for me plus the many other times I go back for a trim and pay an extra 50. So thanks lol a lot! I thought it would be more difficult than this lol

I absolutely loved this video.. my stylist isn’t going to be practicing as of the 12th of Jan so I’m terrified.. I so OTHERS HAIR Amazing but when it comes to my own I get lazy then discouraged.. ESPECIALLY the trimming process. I had some damage in the back which is growing out and I have layers.. so it can “catch up with the rest. Your video really encourages me thanks hun 💕

LOVE watching you cut hair, so therapeutic. I can relate about the healthy hair journey. About half my hair fell out at the roots after the first relaxer in my new house. Didnt like the water. Took my plants dying to make me realize the cause. Now, I post up back at my parents' when it is time to touch up 😂. Makes me sad having thiiiner hair now 😔.
