the girl in the video is Paige from WWE, Ronnies girlfriend.
In the last ppart, the new verse, he admit he is a vampire cause he is matured and see he actually was the monster/vampire he didn't want to see in the past.
the song is about addiction he wrote it in prison, in the old version he tells he is all the bad stuff bud he isn't an vampir, as he isn't that terrible person all see in an addict.

With Saraya (Paige) being in the video and the new added lyrics and that last part in the video can be applied to statements from Paige that when she met and started dating Ronnie she was in a dark place and had suicidal thoughts and Ronnie saved her and how their relationship is one for the ages and the last part with them both burning up is saying they’d die together than be separated

Yeah when the original came out Ronnie was straight out of prison and still in the cocky rockstar mode and hadn’t dealt with his emotions that was there in the lyrics but in the delivery he had gotten there to convey the emotions

Well, no idea who this guy (or these guys) is, but I prefer the second version. A bit over the top, maybe, but I kind of like it. The first version was not really my cup of tea.
