That's a handy addition to your stereo. I was also impressed how the guttering of the property lined up perfectly with the top of the shots frame 👍🏻

So for the power, is it sufficient if we get that either from cigarette lighter wire or from power line going into the head unit instead of plugging in into battery directly?

Nice video. You made me think to buy this. I have an after market head unit with RCA for sub. PLease recommend what RCA to buy and how long? Many thanks.

Got to be a good bit careful fitting these units to modern new cars ,what with signal supply to switch on amp. Try to avoid using wake up signal on head unit as amp power up. Reason for this being that wake up signal out of head unit is not the typical 12 volts stuff but- can bus Signal electronics. Take wake up signal from ACC fuse board using a fuse tap instead.

Hi, I installed the KSC-PSW7EQ on my Golf GTE, it works very well for my needs, but every now and then I encounter a problem: the car warns me of an error on the 12v battery showing me a small red triangle on the dashboard and all the car services are they deactivate. I have to turn off the car and turn it on again to make the error disappear which, however, sooner or later, comes back. The 12v battery is an Exide EK620 with 62Ah. Have you encountered this error too?

Can the power be connected to the back of the stereo or does it have to be connected to the battery? Thanks

Hey mate, as the video states you take the power off the back of the stereo as it's an efficient amp ;-)

I've got the same one but clips and cuts power easily when turning the volume up a bit

I recommend getting 12AWG power wires rather than the 10AWG that comes with it as it is better recommended for the W that it produces unless you plan on running the wire longer than 13ft

A few misleading statements and important missing information here: 1) you talked about the RCA cable that connects to the speakers' wires but you skipped talking about the RCA line cable! 2) the two 18AWG power and ground cables that come with this powered subwoofer are too thin and "dangerous" and the misleading Kenwood guy knows that so he just Bull Shitted around it and let's install the subwoofer, you need 10AWG wires for this installation!

I would recommend 12 gauge - there is a chart that recommends for how many W x what gauge and how far the cable is being ran
