Very interesting build, I really miss Canada, I used to be in the London, St Thomas area every week, met some great people. I’m glad you explained the reasoning behind the rear fenders, I kept watching and shouting swap sides with them, but the skirts and running boards will tie them together nicely. I’m going to start on my SB120 project in the spring, thinking about using a Mercedes diesel, unless I can find a 5.9 donor at a good price. Really enjoy watching you work. Dan.

They stopped using those cabs in pickups about 1957. They continued to use them in the big R series until about 67. Looks like they made slight changes along the way. Bigger door windows, and bigger rear windows. Some other truck manufacturers used that cab also, they just put their own front end on them.

The good thing about metal is its always able to be fixed or as I say modified. The possibility is endless when you're working on a project. Sometimes they go smoothly and other times a pain in the rear. What I love about metal working is it's your ideas coming to life. Being different than everyone else is what makes us all unique and our projects unique as well. Keep them videos coming, love watching all of them.
