Okay this video got long, no not long LOOOOONG, and I have to explain it quick since most won't pick up on it. This game is fun, like really fun, like it hits all the buttons I want as a gamer (not a ytuber or streamer) it's just simply fun and I couldn't put it down. After getting the same questions for like 2 weeks about this game on the twitch channel, discord and reading them on the steam workshop pages, I felt this massive urge to say 'here's what I found out, take the info and use it for your decision' I usually don't get this wrapped up in a game, only Rimworld and Kenshi have grabbed me this hard in the last 7 years. It's hard to find something complex, challenging and fun that also has a metric TON of Quality of Life so doing anything isn't a real chore. I hope my passion for this project DESPITE IT'S LENGTH, will let you make a informed choice about the game. The rest I have to say or show you, well, it's all in the video. Remember, nothing wrong watching 20 minutes and pausing and going on later on. Thank you for reading, and I'll try really hard to keep my next videos under 30 min because I know you folks love em that way. Enjoy your day and weekend! Cheers!
I bet they take a while to edit!!! And I can tell the dev is like that just from the couple steam guides some have written - statistics and equations and code and a lot of passion for the under the hood stuff in the community, which is usually a good sign towards the developers for making a platform for folks to communicate and go hog wild with!
Incredibly robust and competent guide. Enough to make people aware of all the facets they need to be aware of but may miss, but leaving the trip down each of those roads up to the player, because there is no wrong way to play Star Valor.
I think I even said this in your stream, I know others will put out much better guides and walk throughs, I just wanted to show people that they SHOULD pick up the game and try it, glad you enjoyed it and looking forward to you doing all the guides you mentioned, Cheers!
There are a few things I want to correct or add: Free ships: You can push them into the station too, but they are going to take damage if collision is on and don't even think about that with pirate ships as their melee weapons will shred them. In addition bigger ships can pick up small ships if you have enough cargo space. Ancient Relics: Destroying Ravanger enemies (the big dangerous looking things on the sector map) is guaranteed to drop one Ancient Relic Crew efficiency: It has nothing to do with training the crew, but every main role (Engineer, Pilot, Navigator and Supervisor) have an efficiency that acts as a multiplier to the related stats, for example energy regeneration, energy storage, shield power, shield regeneration and shield absorption for engineers. Gunners: No control means that they improve the turret with their stats but you as the captain are controlling the turret and it will still fire if you press the button for it. Money making: Hunting for derelict ships can be very profitable too, as some of them sell for 30k credits or more. Even finding one of them helps you to jumpstart that playthrough very early. A very efficient build I'm currently playing is the Phantom (Children of Terra class 2 Yacht) with two size 5 AP Overload Gatling Vulcans. I uncloak, start shredding the enemy, activate my Ardonian Energy Barrier to be almost immortal for a few seconds and simply dodge and recloak if more enemies are there. It is so much fun and you can pick your fights when you are sure to win while being so fast.
That's some really good info and If I make another video of fixes and further information (seperate vids) I'll gladly correct my mistakes AND include the methods you listed. Nothing hurts more than piloting a pirate ship, getting close to the station and you slow down the ship your towing bumps into you with your bonus to ramming and explodes instantly. As for the rest of it, it's good info and I'm really glad you included it, I don't know everything and I'm glad other players are giving me more info I can put out there for newbies, and we all know newbies become vets eventually, if you don't help them, the just give up and go to other games. Lets support em and the game will last many many years! Cheers and I hope I can become someone you get some entertainment from for the next years!
1:14:00 (ish) delay doesnt do much for heat management. Its used to stager fire so you can improve your aim and not get punished as harshly by ships rolling or dodging damage. If you have 2 weapons with a 1/sec fire rate and one is set to a .5s delay then between the two of them one shot will be fired every .5 seconds so you have more of a stream of fire you can keep on a target. A lot of higher level shuttle and yacht enemies are so good at projectile evasion that its almost impossible to hit them with out a beam or a staggered volley they cant weave between. 1:45:30 Any pmc station can have the miner laser, even with out you doing missions for them. really, pretty much every faction has semi-exclusive gear that doesn't show up in other factions stations and sometimes requires that factions rep (except the default civilian station). Big things I would say new players should know is that... 1: double tapping left/right (a/d) movement lets you do a roll which gives you s from most things. But this only works on smaller ships that have lateral thrusters equipped. 2: clearing pirate hideouts on a map will lower the frequency of marauders attacking you in that system. 3: the caps lock key toggles your speed boosters on/off so that they automatically boost your speed when you hold the forward thrust button. thus sparing your shift key from abuse.
Thank you! I'm going to take some of these corrections and some info I straight up didn't have (2 and 3) and put them out in the next videos, I really strive not to give incorrect info and this vid, while a passion project, doesn't get a free pass. So I have to make some changes, make a 'some corrections' and such and do my best to get that new info out there. Thanks for letting me know, if you have any further tips you'd love to 'get out there' don't hesitate to send them my way. I don't care where the info comes from, I'll gladly give credit where it's due and just make sure players can have more fun in a great game. Cheers!
Great tips The stagger fire is amazing and it makes a huge difference when done right however for me it's a bit buggy, .5 works great but the rest not so much eg if a gun has 1.2 instead of 1 FR than I try to set it at .66 but the stagger becomes uneven yet put back on .5 it's A ok. Main thing is it works :)
AT 34:30 the Flux Accumulator is a 'battery' for holding additional flux charges. Flux charges can be accumulated using a Warp Diverter (which turns your warp charge into a flux charge) or a Flux Capacitor (which generates a flux charge every 'x' seconds). Weapons and even ship systems (like the flux refinery) can use flux charges to enable different effects or to just activate.
One reminder, scrapping items helps with blueprint learning. takes 2-3 of an item to learn the basic blueprint, and then more of the item to level up the blueprint depending on the level you have currently; also making the item from the blueprint also levels it up. That also levels up your technology level. I love creating custom weapons, I have a beam laser that does 6k damage/sec on my Venghi dreadnaught and named it Omega Laser.
Another gem of a tip in comments, I'm taking this and adding it to the next video, thank you for telling me about it and I didn't know building it also increased it (tho it makes sense when you think about it) and I didn't know about the tech level too, great tip. Custom weapons I believe follow it as well, all good things I want to put into the next video! Hopefully I'll entertain you in the following years! Cheers!
Keeping track of the trade goods across the galaxy can be a big chore. One technique I've been using is taking advantage of the galaxy map icons that show what you have "deposited" at each station, per system. If the demand is high I leave one of that item. If the supply is high, I leave 2. Then to find a place to buy or sell I just look for the item with or without a "(2)", respectively. _🤔_ I hope a better trading module can eventually show such data on the galaxy map automatically (specific items' trade status per sector), at least within your sensor range. I've found this is a bit easier than transcribing the prices into "notes", but it's clunky and expensive (although adding these hints to the map makes it quick to regain the cost for littering the galaxy with placeholder items 🤣).
Hands down the best tutorial/tips video Ive seen for this game. I picked up quite a bit from watching this as a new player. There is a difference between knowing a lot about a given subject and being able to teach it. Great job and thank you!
Thats a very kind way to phrase that, thank you. I've always enjoyed trying to teach folks how to play the games I love, show or stream, but always try NEVER to come off as 'know it all' or 'snarky' while doing so. I detest that 'I'm better then others' mentality some take when showing people how to play a game. Cheers!
I had to watch this in shifts because I'd see something and have to go try it. This game is amazingly intense. I'm playing mostly as an explorer/miner and things are going ok. I tried the merchant route but I keep screwing that up and loosing money. Thanks for this very informative video. It's been very helpful.
@@Banlish One of the things I did was get the best scanners I can. They often pick up distress signals in the dead zones. This usually results in finding a ship to salvage. After trying to make up a small fleet, I decided to stick to one ship and just sell the ones I find.
That's high praise and I really mean that, I don't consider myself very organized and if that's the impression you got that makes me happy. I've never editted this much, but I knew I needed to cut it down as far as I could (and it's STILL way too long) and get as much info out there as I could. GLad you liked it, and nothing wrong being an old dude online, we've seen all the crazy shit before meme's existed, before reddit was a thing and times when BBS, MUDs MUSHs and IRC were the main things, we're just happy to still be able to see it all as it changes and be part of it! Cheers and I hope I get to entertain you in the years to come!
I liked the way you presented the video at the start and had already made up my mind on subscribing before it even got to that point in the video. You just seem like the kind of content creator i enjoy in general. Great video!
Thanks for the really nice words, hopefully as I get back into YTubing (3 vids today, another 5 more are waiting to go) I can make people enjoy a few of the things I produce again. Cheers and thank you again!
Suscribed of course, and no way i wait until the end of the video. You put some efforts in doing this for us, and that alone deserved my gratitude. Thank you for this amazing work !
Thanks for a really nice compliment, I worked hard on this and I can say it now, this video has just under 2k hours viewed and got me monetized, Glad you like it and I hope I can keep entertaining you for years to come
Thanks for the nice compliment, I really worried about the length this ended up at and I tried to jam pack as much as I could in, a ton of people were coming by the Twitch channel asking the same questions "Is it worth it yet?" "is it playable in it's current state" and "Is it easy to get started?" kinda made me say 'I should make a vid of this instead of repeating myself a ton' Glad you liked it and hopefully I can entertain you in the years to come
What a terrific video! As effectively a new player (won’t bore you with the details) this was stuffed with useful tips for me. It nade me subscribe in fact. So I was sorry to see you’re not uploading content anymore. I’d have really liked to have seen a short complete beginners intro for the game. Great as this was, it felt more intermediate to advanced, where I’m more at the “here are your ignition keys, don’t scratch the paint” kind of stage. I stopped short of the spoiler section….. but gaghghghghghgh… want to know what the extra tips were! :) Anyway, great guide. Thank’s
Thank you, the spoilers aren't even really spoilers they're just some items you might want to find on your own, might not. Up to you either way! As for content, I've been 'on the edge' of coming back for weeks now, even had brush up sessions with a friend to make these videos again. Streaming full time on Twitch for 8 years has been my primary focus, coupled with a bad back and a house reno and there's never been a 'quiet time' to record without saws, drills and hammers pounding away in the back ground. Hopefully that'll all be over in the next 2 weeks and I can FINALLY get back to recording without disruption, so many good games since then that I want to show folks and new ones releasing almost every day. Thank you for the kind words and I hope the rest of your year is good, there will be new content shortly, I promised the entire discord/twitch community that a little while ago. Cheers!
This was a great video, very helpful and quite in depth. I would love to see a lets play series where you play all the way through explaining your choices as you go!
Thank you!, As for doing a lets play, I'm on the fence about it, I played it on stream for 4 days solid, each day 7+ hours, so maybe but I gotta make sure I don't over do any one game. I am still very hooked and it's very, VERY hard to put down however.
Great Video, love it and watched it all the way through. Since im an old Gamer myself, played 1136 hours of Rimworld and just found Star Valor as a Game and You as my Guide to it, I seem to get a good start ;-)
Thanks for the kind words, I do appreciate it. Still playing Rimworld to this day myself with a few mods (400+) to make it more complicated and interesting on the channel as well. Rimworld is one of the two games that got me into streaming/content-creation in fact. Either way, thank you and hopefully I can entertain you for years to come!
As an experienced player rocking a Dominance mining crew of death, I watched your video looking for little missed nuggets of info. I definitely didn't know Tinheads would buy old recipes! Thanks for making the video, happy hunting.
A good and exhaustive compilation of (almost) all things Star Valor, even if a good part is just basic mechanics, also some bloopers but that's bound to happen and forgiven (e. g. Cult of Speed, can't fit more than one impulse drive module). And I think you missed out on drones, they're pretty juicy. As for derelict ships, don't forget to swap into them briefly, or open the Re-Fit menu, that unlocks them as starter ships for new runs, there will be a pop-up.
Great video and thanks for the hard work. Subscribed now. I have around 160+ hours playing this game and there were some good tips you gave. F5 is fast save key by default I think, instead of saving with the save key. Other than that nothing to add. Well done. Chris
Thank you VERY much for telling me about the F5 key, I can't believe I missed that, I think it comes from old SNES games where we were using consoles and everything was menu drop downs before I picked up my first PC. And thanks for the kind words, I really appericate it after how much of a bear this thing was to make, just shy of I think 8 hours after it was all said and done!
@@chrisbricky7331 ANd thanks for sharing it there too, I don't use a FB account for some reasons (no time) so thanks for getting the word out for me in a place I can't!
I watched the whole of this video. Thank you very much, its an amazing tutorial which I desperately needed. I can't wait to go back to the game and try these tips out. I was enjoying the game but I'm going to enjoy it a whole lot more now. Thank you, I really appreciate it. Big Bird 😂
Hey, Thanks a lot for such a nice comment. I've already tried to be a person that either shows people games (almost 8 solid years of Indie games streamed on Twitch) or shown people how to get a little more outta their games either from me being terrible at them, or playing them a ton and relaying how to make things easier without being a snarky know it all. Hopefully it becomes a great game for you since it's so well done and the dev keeps pushing updates out to make it better for free pretty regularly. As to me, you caught me at a great time. I've been slowly prepping to get posting on TH-cam again. Twitch and IRL took all my time, and I only recently had some time to get back to doing something I really enjoy. Not sure what games or genre's you like, but hopefully with some let's plays and '# of things I wish I knew' list vids coming I'll make something you enjoy or want to glance at. Cheers with your gaming time, I hope it really was a great run. Any highlights?
@Banlish it's hard to pinpoint a particular bit in the video that helped the most because pretty much all of it was really helpful. The upgrading and not using the relics unless it's on something that matters was a great tip. I am about to buy my second ship which might be the claymore. I always laugh when I am in a station deciding what to buy then I hear the notification for a relic flying by. I stop everything to chase after it, even when I was fighting pirates. Thanks again for the video.
Swedish Chef. Great video. Staggering amount of information (I'd guess about 4 hours worth?) compressed into a little over and hour and a half! And after all that, I'm completely ambivalent: on the one hand, Wow! there's so much more to this game than I imagined. On the other hand, OMG! there's so much more to this game than I imagined. 😋 As for other possibilities, I might suggest doing one on Kenshi. Meanwhile, thanks for creating this masterwork of a game guide. Keep up the great work. Sub definitely earned.
Thank you! And yea, Kenshi is one of my favorite top 10 games of all time and being able to show it to people is something I really love to do. Being able to use 'this' format on a game like that I think is a great thing, I'm just trying to refine it so it's not this long, and yea even with editing it was around something like 3 hours. And thanks for the kind words and I hope I can entertain you for years to come!
First vid I've seen of you... 2 min in I have subbed. You obviously put a lot of time and effort into this video and if you put in a f4action of that 2 minutes into everything else? You easily have earned that sub and a whole lot more. Good luck out there, bro.
Hey thanks for one of the nicer replies, I don't know all this editing as others do, do to being an older guy who was never taught. Instead I have 2 guys I get most of my info from, trial and error, and of course Googling it. So this video took me 9 hours of work start to finish, I only know that because I said 'hey, let me make a 'quick' video since the Dev gave me a code 2 weeks before it came out, and I was like 'Maybe I should release a video on opening week, that could be smart.' So I started at 9pm at night, thinking 'I've NEVER before this video pieced edits together, or put THAT much text on a video, how hard could it be.' At 6am I 'finished', uploaded it, and posted it 30 minutes later. I was so clueless, I think most folks could, with basic skills, do the same video in about 1/3rd the time. So I spent the last 6 months being taught some of this stuff, watching others videos and preping for the return I started today (dropped 3 videos all at once, might not be your cup of tea since it's Workers and Resources, a great game I think is criminally under covered) Hopefully I can get back to my old skill level quickly and get down to that 1/3rd of the time others can do within a few months. Either way, I was going back and this was one of the nicest comments I got, so I wanted to give you a really serious reply. Cheers
Thanks for such a nice reply, glad I could help out a bit, finally got back into YTing after a ton of time off so I'm taking a look at doing more of these types of videos. They take like 20x long as my normal vids, but the response is always better by far.
I'm glad and thank you! I like being the person that says 'look at all the things you CAN do' instead of 'you SHOULD play THIS WAY ONLY' meta builds are great and all, but it's a game, and it's YOUR game, play it however you want, but knowing all the pieces you have to play WITH is a great way to make videos on the TH-cams!
Trying to decide between this and StarSector... I didn't watch every 'segment', but quite a few - appreciate your understandable explanations; thanks for putting this together and sharing...
Now you can remove everything from the old ship and put it on the new ship. The downside is if you went to a bigger class ship the stuff designed for the size would upgrade better than the upgraded stuff from a smaller ship, but transferring equipment will mean your ship isn't just full of junk.
So note about making purple, you can do that for every blueprint you have, as long as you researched that blueprint enough. Exception for custom weapons. Those need the Relics to hit purple as of the time of this post
Thanks for the kind words, I was, really Really, REALLY worried about the length this turned into. TBH I shoulda made it 3 videos but I didn't want people to think I was 'stretching' the video into too many for views and such, glad you enjoyed and welcome aboard!
I've honestly came back to this video 2 or 3 times now and fully watched it all the way through, hands down the most engaging and entertaining content creator I've seen with how to/tip guides, been subscribed since the first time I watched. Great work man I know its a bit late but keep it going. You are very appreciated. Sometimes while I'm gaming I play videos in the background so I'm not feeling so isolated. Hearing you talk is like listening to a friend, I know that sounds weird but thanks.
One of the nicer comments I've gotten, thank you! My channel will be returning shortly (as I sit here I JUST redid my entire office, my setup and my channel setup so that I COULD return) that said, in about 2 weeks or less we should see new videos appearing. Everything from more popular List videos to lets plays and lets try's. Thanks for the nice comment, it actually made me work a bit harder after I read it on a really 'down' day of waiting on other people that I really don't like relying upon. Cheers
This review was absolutely amazing just want i was looking for man well done indeed, please do more of these videos. I am a huge fan of this game. I will be doing a TH-cam videos on my experience on this game soon i had the game for some years now. You have my respect and sub. Man you a loveable guy and yes this is a hidden gem of a game and will be one of my favourite. Please make man cant get enough lool
Thanks for the really nice response, I'm not the type of guy to make guides (usually) but I like showing people 'hey here's this great game, here's the TONs of things you can do with it, go try it out'. Been doing this for decades with friends and I was considered the person in my EVE online group to ask if 'I want to play something new, Ask Banlish' and 15 years later, well here we are. Good luck on the guides, things change a ton and I'm not sure I have the desire, patience to make guides, if you do, I really hope they do well for you, we need a ton of well done guides for all kinds of games, Dev's are too busy to put anything out and usually too underfunded to make anything themselves, if you can, go for it, there's ALWAYS a need! Also thanks for the sub and I hope I can entertain you for years to come!
@@Banlish really Eve online wow cool man 15 years long time, yeah i tottally understand you thank you for responding, regardless love your video. Yes the dev is doing an amazing job. I play many games but this one is close to my hear. I spoken with SHain Murray before No Mans Sky release amazing guy and other devs etc its nice to have people come together. Well done on the videos
Didn't know about the help signal that doesn't show anything when you arrive, Now I know I have to look for sparks, there are somethings that are not ok in the Video, Tier's are Gray 0, White 1, Green 2, Blue 3, Pink 4, Orange 5. When you explain the energy grid you have energy and shield backwards, you can only have 1 impulse drive but many boosters, some items are better in my opinion at Tier 0 instead of tier 4-5
Yeah, I definiately need to make a 'corrections' video I think there are a few things I obviously got wrong and while they aren't game breaking, you can figure them out after a few seconds of trial and error, I would like to 'fix it' if I can. We'll see, and thank you for the comment!
Thank you for the very nice compliment, I always ALWAYS worry about anything over 27 minutes long (ppl see 30+ min and get annoyed/angry/dismissive at vids that long) and I start to fret. Glad there's a place and viewership for longer vids
Leaving anothwr comment, two days later - i have just finished, minus the spoiler section, and i really have to thabk yoy again. I feel comrortavle with the mechanics now of this awesome game.
Hey man, Thank you for the nice compliment. These videos are a new format I wasn't used to when I made it, it's by far my most popular video. So I'm in the process of making more of them as we speak. They take a mountain of editing, and for my lack of skills that means it'll take time. But I'm glad it made the game a little easier for you and I hope you enjoy Star Valor, it's a true diamond in the rough for how good it is and the developer, you can tell, cares about his baby vs just making a sale.
Greetings from Germany and thank you so much for this video. I watched it all. The most important part for me was the one with the Mercenarys. I had no idea they cost that much. I had 3 of them, and they nearly took all my money, haha. Have a good time!
Supergrover.... Of course :)... Great long form video man... And it's wonderful to see an .... Ahem.. older gamer succeeding as a TH-camr as well (52 here myself)... You have a new subscriber, Sir... I wish you all the success :)
SUPER GROVER!!! (one of my fav's, though I liked big bird a ton being a tall stork like kid for so long too, and animal just prepped us for knowing guys on meth) but I'm glad I can get another older gamer to find the channel, I'm not perfect, but I have vast amounts of games I hope to cover, only thing you won't really see here are puzzlers, platformers, and sports games. Everything else I don't mind taking a shot at if I find it interesting, complex games like EU4, simply games like Turmoil, never ending games like Escape From Tarkov, to games with an ending like the story rich games like the Long Dark. If I find it fun, I'll cover it, list video it or do a lets play series and I love making people just 'aware' of the games, I'm not perfect, but hey, if you find a game you like from me showing it, you got something else to play! Heck yea! And thanks for the Sub, I hope I'll be part of your entertainment going forwards for years! Cheers!
@@Banlish You Sir, are a man after my own heart.. right down to your gaming preferences :)... no need to reply again... I appreciate you and your work ... God bless.
First of all... The count... atta boy. But really, great video for a brand new player like me. This was the first video of yours I{ve seen. I look forward to watching some of your other vids.
Welcome aboard, I'm working on the next videos but the Dev (in a REALLY good way) made some changes and added some features so I had to change it up. Good times and I'm glad you like the Count, he was one of my favs, and I hope in the future I'm someone who can entertain you on YT for years to come!
Hey, wanted to say thanks, there's a vid up of 'What happened in 2023' if you wonder why I stopped dead in my tracks, np if not. But thanks for the nice comment, Cheers!
With the ships that you find out in the galaxy that are empty, you can push them back to base, just be careful though they keep whatever momentum you put into them
Yep, nothing better than throwing my first lvl 4 ship into a pile of pirates by mistake because I pulled it without a way to slow it down. $84,000 lost and I was PISSED. Salvaging ships is a great way to earn cash, upgrade and find unique hulls
Greetings from Bulgaria! Very nice video man keep going. I hit that subscribe button and i want you to say first - sorry for my bad english i hope you understand me and second - i want to see more videos like this about this game and every other game that is deep enough and you have enough knowledge to do such videos. Thanks to your video i download the game (yes i live in poor country and dont have money to buy it for now) and realy have a great time so far. Thanks a lot again!
Np, best I can tell you, always support the offical release when able, it's one of those games that will most likely get so many updates and features added so quickly that it'll always be worth it. Thanks for the kind words about the video, I hope I can entertain you in the years to come!
I am 170+h into this game, almost finished it, and still have not used the weapons crafting system even once. :) was hoping you would mention it but i guess you may have skipped it as well. the title fits me very well. I WISH I knew these before playing... xD But I did watch the entire 1:50:00 video , and even found a tip I didnt know after playing so long. so it was well worth it. thanks 👍
You're welcome! I wasn't trying to fit everything in, but I was trying to show players that they had a massive amount of things they 'could do and try' and to give them ideas, on that front it worked perfectly! As for never using the crafting system, I found out that if you disassemble or assemble a weapon you get exp either way towards higher tiers, a useful thing if you're trying to make your own and not have to scour for them. The only instance I think that would help is if you decided to put together a fleet and wanted to build it all exactly as you want. Thanks for the comment and I hope to be able to entertain you for years to come!
The pirate faction is on the stat screen showing you if you are allied because you can choose to use a perk that allows you to play as a pirate and be part of the pirate faction, I plan do use this perk for my next play through. hehe For factions it does not matter where you sell only where you buy, so yes you go to a allied faction to buy cheaper but no need to go to a different faction to sell you just sell in the system the price is best. Great video
I agree, mostly just trying to get players to realize they don't have to setup giant trade routes, they can grab a hold of cargo, keep going and dump it within a few stations usually while scouting things out. They have to decide whether having no cargo is worth it, or buying another ship is worth it to do a few runs, it's all up to you and I love that about this game. Thank you for your input and great compliment, I hope I'll be a source of your entertainment for years to come! Cheers
Just bought the game lastnight, and have put a few hours into it already. Great informative video. Heading down the Mining/Exploration route...for now). You have another sub btw, and looking forward to checking out your other vids
random ships can also be pushed towards a station if you don't have the tools and if your ship has space it can be stored in the cargo hold or if your ship has hangers it can be put in the hanger. OK, I've seen a ship loaded into the storage space of a ship but I have not seen a ship added to a hanger, but it seems to make sense logically.
A game where the devs realized that it not very clever forcing users to keep notes outside of the game? Let me pause the video for a bit. I need to cry with joy for a while. Thanks for the detailed video! Just what I was looking for.
I've talked to the Dev, not only does he obviously play and enjoy games like this, he made his own and lets the community suggest things to him and then, wait for it, he actually puts many of the best ones into the game. I was shocked too and HAD to report it to others!
Just bought the game yesterday for 10 bucks. After a short try I almost uninstalled it because it's that complex at the first view. Thanks to your amazing video things have changed, THANK YOU VERY MUCH! Now I have to leave and go play Star Valor 🤗 Keep going
It's really nice to see that even months and months later this video is helping folks out. Hate to admit, but this vid is the number 1 on my channel by far, all those 'lets plays' I did seem to be useless but then again, I'm a streamer first and youtuber second (skill wise, editing is actually difficult for me) So this is as close to a 'guide' that I've ever done and it did great. Makes me want to do more since I got my YT partnership and I'm coming out of acute exhaustion IRL. (that's why there's been no videos for 6+ months, but I've streamed 5 times a week without missing). Either way, thank you for the kind words, it actually had an impact (never let anyone say a nice comment can't change things) and I'm starting to fire things up again and take a look at what to do and figure out YT wise. Cheers for that (one last thing, debating doing a new vid on Star Valor, I know the game got a few new updates, seems people want more. Hrmmmm)
great video, learned so much- not very good at video games. Just started playing and I like how relaxed the mining is! Look forward to more content :). All power to the cookie monster.
It is a pretty entertaining game. I like it as a lighter arcade style version of something like X3TC or Starsector. Star Valor is great for not having too much to keep track of while not being a shallow 2d space looter shooter, but doesnt demand your attention and dedication like X3/SS. I would suggest it to anyone that has any interest in this type of game.
Just got SV on sale (finally) having waited @ 3 months since discovering this game existed. Found a couple of SV YT's but >THIS< is easily the best one for a kick-off into SV. Worth every minute -- Entertaining AND full of exactly the kind of info needed to launch properly into this seemingly wonderous gem of a game. You have a great delivery style, and I look forward to many more views of your vid collection both past and upcoming. You deserve to be paid for these, if for nothing else, than editing school. JK about the editing school, you said you were rough around the edges on editing, but you're fine. See you in the comments going forward! Lastly: Elmo or Cookie Monster ( that is a tuft of his hide on your head right? Collected shedding?). Cheers!
Thank you for the compliment, I hope I can do more, I got bogged down with IRL stuff (bday, brand change for 5 year old art, getting YT monetized) all of it slowed me down, getting more vids out for people to enjoy will start heavy again on Monday tho!
subscribed, i just bought the game. really trying to learn. im new to the space rpg genre. hope you continue to make new player friendly / semi-hardcore content with this game!
YaY \o/ 1k likes! Dont think I have been the one thousandth before! Thanks for this video.. I just picked this up last night and dabbled for a few hours last night. I can see a lot of time going into this. This video has A LOT of very useful information. was playing Endless Sky and saw a review of this game so now I am playing this.
You were 1k? Nice, it's my most viewed video ever O__o , so nice to see how far back I had to go to answer some comments I missed as I relaunch the channel today, thank you for the nice comment and kind words, Cheers!
Could I? Yes, atm I gotta get back into it and see what's changing, the Dev allowed me access to the new content he's making so I gotta just set aside the time as it draws nearer to launch of the new major expansion, sit down and figure it all out again, as well as the new parts.
Hey Banlish ! Thank you for the tips. I've been playing the game for a while now, and I learned a thing or two ;) But I wanted to endorse the work here... For the new comers, this video is very rich in good information for this cool and deep game. And I know, for having myself other channels with content, how much this is time consuming to put a long video like this all together. People watching and "eating" videos don't always really realize how much investment it asks from content creators to "offer" such content. Because... let's be real... before you get to make a "real" living out of youtube content creation... well you know... Thanks again man ! Take care ;)
Thanks for all the love, this video, believe it or not, was a single 7 and 1/2 hour stretch start to finish to record, edit and encode. Then I put it on youtube and waited another 2 hours for it to encode to HD quality. The game is super fun and it just made me go 'I HAVE to do this NOW' that's rare for a man who's been gaming over 35 years. But thanks for the kind words, hopefully I can entertain you for years to come!
I love the video, thank you for the effort I love this video is long because you take the time to explain the game, and I buy the game because of this video😀
Thank you for such a nice comment, I'm glad I could clear up some confusion about the game, it's really a great game that has a ton of features and more being added by a dev that obviously cares. Thank you and I hope I can entertain you for years to come!
Man I had no idea about the ancient relics... they are blue so I figured they upgraded to blue just like the improved upgrade kits. I don't know why those aren't colored purple. I even used one to upgrade a white to green once when I was starting out before I figured out that was a thing.
I wanted to add: For ship enhancements, a ship may have one tier 3, and two tier 2 maximum, even if you have more slots. Some tier three are very useful even on small ships, while others are completely useless. Also, Weapon heat generated is more useful in ships with very few weapon slots/lots of small weapons. Otherwise, weapon cooling will pay off more. There is no penalty for blowing through your heat capacity. Also, it is almost always cheaper to build at a higher tier compared to upgrade kits.
That's really good info to have, thank you, and I'll put it into my next follow up video since I don't think I've seen it mentioned anywhere else! Thank you!
@@Banlish As for the individual enhancements: Tier 3 Armor 150/10% is good on every ship. Damage Resist 8% is not. Unless you are already stacking armor, armor 10% beats this. Fleet Offense/Defense: Useless if you are not doing fleet, and not that useful on your personal ship. However, if you have a large fleet, and you give every ship this enhancement, it snowballs. HP regen 1%: Only useful on ships with over 1000 armor, or venghi. Crew efficiency 4%: Good on a ship with a lot of crew, and worthless on small ships. Tier 2 Armor 8% is more useful the bigger ship you have, and is useless on small craft. Energy generation is more useful on smaller ships compared to big ships. Explosive AoE is situational, but if you stack two of these with ziggy and proper weapons... Repair cost -50%: Stack two of these and all your repairs are free if you use the station for repairs. Shield 16%: Good for shield tanking, useless for armor tanking. Weapon range +20 is good for any combat ships and decent for cargo or miners. Warp distance 20% is good on every ship. Weapon cooling/ Heat generation I already mentioned As for Tier 1, all of them are useful, depending on your ship's role, and many of these lean to favor small ships over large. YMMV of course.
Me: Oh, Ancient Relic. Me: Ohhh, shiny! Now uncommon! Exactly that, exaclty as written... BUT in my defense: I never care about how rare (to find) something is. I will find it en masse once I don't want it and/or don't need it. Only as soon I need something I will not find it. Stay crunchy.
1 more subscriber HA HA HA, and +1 attaboy for going the distance on this vid, I really hope I can entertain you for years to come with list videos like this and maybe even the other work I do, Cheers!
Yeah I get that, it was supposed to be a 40 min video, I did the whole 'cut and clip' method and didn't realize it was freaking almost 2 HOURS until I was in post production. At that point I warned people with the sticky on the bottom but I get your drift, I'm going to try to NEVER let this happen again. Cheers (trolling or not, you do have a point)
Animal of course. And I don't need an atta-anything. :) I watched the entire video and learned a lot an got a lot of insight. Thank you for all of your work and help.
Thanks for the kind words, I'm glad some people are finding that this isn't a 'bogus list' and I really tried to make it useful, if it's good, we'll do another, if not, np, but I really enjoyed all my time in the game so far and I hope people like it for a few weeks as they go for the game.
oh g...... to know some things before my death would have been great... global stash, trading system and more. Took me more than 12 hours of gampley to actually notice this!! they are so small things comepare to whats happening in your face that you dont notice. Cool stuff.
Thanks, np, I love pointing people to all kinds of features that my Twitch chat digs up or says 'didn't you know you can do THIS or THIS....' since it's always a new game, I'm usually like '....umm no?'
Question about Crew(Gunners): Is there a way to tell Gunner(s) to hold fire when near like a station. I like to have some on [Auto] so they can freely rotate their turret BUT when near stations they tend to try to shoot through the station to hit hostile ships on the other side... It's SOOOOOO annoying. Is there a hidden hotkey to permanently tell them not to go "weapons free" untill told otherwise.
As far as I'm aware there isn't, but that can change, the only way I know of atm, is to assign all guns to yourself before you dock and then reassign when undock, a terrible solution. If you ask the Dev on his discord he might know or even be up for the suggestion to put it into the game, he's quite active.
When you have a trader codex 3.0 the info that pops up when you mouse over said item will have the different colors indicating whether it is a good deal or not. The only place I have seen refined metals for sale has been at a Tinhead Station and it has only had one refined metal. From what I have seen the options for ship enhancements are the same, it's the amount you can have is what is different based on the ship itself. The cost when hiring crew or mercs is affected by two things that I know of. The skill in the social tree, and the difference in lv. The higher your vs the lv of the merc specifically. If you are a higher lv the less the upfront cost and the % they take. Same goes for you being a lower lv they will want more upfront and take a higher %. You mentioned there is nothing to do in the dead zone part of a system. That is wrong depending on your lv. Level 20- 25 there is. Only in pitch black system if you go to the dead zone, you will have a quest pop-up. You will be able to fight the Hephaestus and if you can drop its hp low enough it will warp out. At which point you will get a special crew which will give you another quest to go to a specific system where you get the Hephaestus. Have fun!
lol 1 hour video of things wish new before Have gotten spotlights from tinkers workshops that are purple, and their brightness is amazing. On the looting bit, you have to do more than plinking them now to get the loot or credit. Hrrrm, ancient relics did not get memo with me and keep showin up when i try to craft thigns. Also, mostly just listend to the video as played star valor :P
One time I found a green ship but I did not have the tractor beam so I slowly pushed it with my own ship to the station, in which the station grabbed it when I was close enough. I wouldn't recommend that but it did work.
I also think that the tiers go Gray, White, Blue, Purple and Orange. For instance, a grey small battery gives 17.5 energy storage, a white one gives 25 storage and green gives 31 storage.
@@oldweeb1066 Yeah I messed up the tiers the bottom two (thankfully that no one uses) are switched. I'll have to put out a correction vid to show folks, but it's good that people caught that
It's still processing for HD quality, give it a few minutes and it'll be done. Usually my vids take maybe 20 minutes for a 30 min vid to get HD quality, this was going for 2 HOURS and I finally had to just post it up and hope it finishes any minute because I pulled an all nighter to get this where I wanted it. Pause it, come back in 10 min and hit F5, see how it works, sorry about that, YT being slow today
Hi there, Great video thank you! Quick question. How do I customize the equipment etc on ships that are in my fleet? I've been given a free ship in my fleet piloted by Sam Holo from the tutorial, but I can't for the life of me figure out how to change anything on it? ..... Oh I see he's temporary
Just remember that you can outfit a ship, swap it to a teammate crew member, then pick up another ship and 'do it again', fleets can be as big as 25 but will usuaully be in the 7 to 12 ship range. You will buy or find all those ships, and outfit each piece how YOU want. That alone, makes me just want to play the hell outta this game. I hope you find it just as good, Cheers!
Thanks for this guide, but I am surprised it doesn`t cover, that can have your own fleet by putting crew onto other ships. Going in the found ships also could unlock it for later runs. Fleets have not been there since the beginning.
Mostly it didn't cover it because it gets semi complex and takes a while to do, if you're pushing towards a decent ship you can go sideways and outfit other ships, but it depends on play style. On top of that I made the video with maybe 20 hours played total so getting that far and not getting my efforts shotgunned across a ton of fleet mates made sense. Because back then they couldn't pick up ore for you, they could only mine and have it appear in space, so now that's been fixed (I think that's the case) it's much easier to get a fleet going early and make some really good early gains depending where you go, what you do and how you use the fleet. I should make a second video tbh, but I'm not only playing Star Valor and I almost guarantee that a bunch of people with 100's of hours would flame me alive for not knowing every single thing, so I've held off. I'm still enjoying my slower pace but I don't know if I should make that next video until the next update tbh.
Especially since stations could be destroyed, if you swap to ships as you find them (even without needing to fully staff them, I believe) adds them to the New Game options. I've found a lot of ships but didn't swap to all of them, and noticed only a few show up in the new game screen ☹ but thankfully I haven't noticed any of the stations I've stored them at become destroyed yet, so I'm swapping to them as I keep exploring and trading. _Find ship, tractor beam it to a station, swap, swap back, continue on._ Another thing is that larger ships can hold smaller ships-even a corvette can hold some shuttles (or even a yacht) I believe, depending on perks and upgrades, if you travel with a mostly empty cargo hold. That can be useful to ferry unused ships around without needing the warp tractor equipment. Or make a fleet, assign crew to it, and warp them in somewhere else. But usually found ships have hardly any equipment, unless you've been stashing everything. 🤭 Unassigning the crew from ships then just leaves the person and the ship sitting around at the new station.
Okay this video got long, no not long LOOOOONG, and I have to explain it quick since most won't pick up on it. This game is fun, like really fun, like it hits all the buttons I want as a gamer (not a ytuber or streamer) it's just simply fun and I couldn't put it down. After getting the same questions for like 2 weeks about this game on the twitch channel, discord and reading them on the steam workshop pages, I felt this massive urge to say 'here's what I found out, take the info and use it for your decision'
I usually don't get this wrapped up in a game, only Rimworld and Kenshi have grabbed me this hard in the last 7 years.
And I can tell the dev is like that just from the couple steam guides some have written - statistics and equations and code and a lot of passion for the under the hood stuff in the community, which is usually a good sign towards the developers for making a platform for folks to communicate and go hog wild with!
where do u get your speed at is my question tho
Incredibly robust and competent guide. Enough to make people aware of all the facets they need to be aware of but may miss, but leaving the trip down each of those roads up to the player, because there is no wrong way to play Star Valor.
I think I even said this in your stream, I know others will put out much better guides and walk throughs, I just wanted to show people that they SHOULD pick up the game and try it, glad you enjoyed it and looking forward to you doing all the guides you mentioned, Cheers!
There are a few things I want to correct or add:
Free ships: You can push them into the station too, but they are going to take damage if collision is on and don't even think about that with pirate ships as their melee weapons will shred them. In addition bigger ships can pick up small ships if you have enough cargo space.
Ancient Relics: Destroying Ravanger enemies (the big dangerous looking things on the sector map) is guaranteed to drop one Ancient Relic
Crew efficiency: It has nothing to do with training the crew, but every main role (Engineer, Pilot, Navigator and Supervisor) have an efficiency that acts as a multiplier to the related stats, for example energy regeneration, energy storage, shield power, shield regeneration and shield absorption for engineers.
I pushed a Mule frigate to a station once, really really wanted that free ship.
Cheers!
Great tips
The stagger fire is amazing and it makes a huge difference when done right however for me it's a bit buggy, .5 works great but the rest not so much eg if a gun has 1.2 instead of 1 FR than I try to set it at .66 but the stagger becomes uneven yet put back on .5 it's A ok.
Oh nice, thank you for putting that into words for me and others to read, sorry it took so long to reply, IRL blew up in a semi bad way!
Np. Hope everything is ok irl. o7
Cheers!
I had no idea...crap. Ive been selling everything for 15 hrs! 😡
Thanks for watching and I hope I can entertain you for the years to come!
@@Banlish One of the things I did was get the best scanners I can. They often pick up distress signals in the dead zones. This usually results in finding a ship to salvage. After trying to make up a small fleet, I decided to stick to one ship and just sell the ones I find.
You already had my sub with the "smallest I've seen joke". Great guide!
Gotta be able to laugh at yourself, then you can joke with almost anyone! Thanks and hopefully I can entertain you in the years to come
From another old man, I'm astonished at how dedicated and professional you've accomplished on the editing and concluding, just saying.
And Im astonished how he managed to make a 110 minute video on 50 tips.
From an even older man I thank you for your time in explaining this game. All the best.
Same to you good sir!
Thanks for a really nice compliment, I worked hard on this and I can say it now, this video has just under 2k hours viewed and got me monetized, Glad you like it and I hope I can keep entertaining you for years to come
This is amazing! This has to be the most useful "Wish I Knew" video I've watched. Great content
Thanks for the nice compliment, I really worried about the length this ended up at and I tried to jam pack as much as I could in, a ton of people were coming by the Twitch channel asking the same questions "Is it worth it yet?" "is it playable in it's current state" and "Is it easy to get started?" kinda made me say 'I should make a vid of this instead of repeating myself a ton'
Glad you liked it and hopefully I can entertain you in the years to come
What a terrific video!
@@Banlish YES PLEASE DO I have the game loving it & would watch with much relishing & goobering & share to me Bruhs!!
Thanks for the compliment, any tips you feel others should know, let me know, always glad to put the info out there!
Definitely missed out on drones, was only about 20 hours into the game and completely missed them when I made the video
Great video and thanks for the hard work. Subscribed now. I have around 160+ hours playing this game and there were some good tips you gave. F5 is fast save key by default I think, instead of saving with the save key. Other than that nothing to add. Well done. Chris
And shared to Facebook.
As for other possibilities, I might suggest doing one on Kenshi.
So I spent the last 6 months being taught some of this stuff, watching others videos and preping for the return I started today (dropped 3 videos all at once, might not be your cup of tea since it's Workers and Resources, a great game I think is criminally under covered)
Hopefully I can get back to my old skill level quickly and get down to that 1/3rd of the time others can do within a few months.
Either way, I was going back and this was one of the nicest comments I got, so I wanted to give you a really serious reply. Cheers
Best video on this game on TH-cam. Thabk you my eyes were peeled thr whole time you are a GREAT teacher
Thanks for such a nice reply, glad I could help out a bit, finally got back into YTing after a ton of time off so I'm taking a look at doing more of these types of videos. They take like 20x long as my normal vids, but the response is always better by far.
Kudo's to you. You put a lot of work into this for us, and it's appreciated greatly, Thanks man.
Thank you very much for that complete yet simple guide over all the features of the game, it helped me a lot understand how to play it ! ^^
Hopefully you tried both, they're both games I've really enjoyed in the last 10 years.
Oscar. First time seeing your content, love it for the detail and the flavour. Subbed and will share on social media.
Very nice of you, Cheers, and thanks for the little extra bump on social media, don't get many people going that far, Thanks again!
Thank you for this robust, useful and worthwhile video! You just gained a sub.
Thanks for the kind words, I was, really Really, REALLY worried about the length this turned into. TBH I shoulda made it 3 videos but I didn't want people to think I was 'stretching' the video into too many for views and such, glad you enjoyed and welcome aboard!
I found this guide very informative. Learned some new stuff, thank you!
Thank you! I hope I'll be able to entertain you and give you various guides/lists/lets-plays for years to come!
Sorry for typos lool just actually got square eyes from playing the game lol
@@Banlish *i meant to say Shaun Murray
This is an insanely awesome video guide. I just found you tonight and I'm an instant subscriber. Thank you so much for this awesome guide.
Thank you, glad you found it useful!
Thank you very much for this video. I was looking for information on Star Valor and this is perfect. Subscribed! :)
Thanks for the nice compliment, and I hope I can entertain you for years to come!
Thanks for the help. Looking forward to playing, and thanks for releasing this on my birthday lol
Happy belated birthday!
God bless.
First my favorite Sesame Street character is Cookie. Second I bought this game because of the vid and I LOVE the game. Keep up the great work.
Thank you! I'm glad you like it!
1:42:58 you can only have one impulse drive. you can have multiple boosters with diminishing returns.
Ah good, thank you now I know I was wrong and can fix it!
Good times and I'm glad you like the Count, he was one of my favs, and I hope in the future I'm someone who can entertain you on YT for years to come!
hands down the best rundown of this awesome game - thank you even being this far into it I learned a TON! You earned my sub!
@@Banlish OOOF that one had to have hurt, I feel your pain
was hoping you would mention it but i guess you may have skipped it as well.
the title fits me very well. I WISH I knew these before playing... xD
But I did watch the entire 1:50:00 video , and even found a tip I didnt know after playing so long. so it was well worth it.
The pirate faction is on the stat screen showing you if you are allied because you can choose to use a perk that allows you to play as a pirate and be part of the pirate faction, I plan do use this perk for my next play through. hehe
For factions it does not matter where you sell only where you buy, so yes you go to a allied faction to buy cheaper but no need to go to a different faction to sell you just sell in the system the price is best.
Best star valor video on the internet. Took me all day to get thru it, but outstanding job 👍🏾
Thank you! I'll try to keep it shorter next time, my bad!
Now I have to leave and go play Star Valor 🤗
Keep going
It's really nice to see that even months and months later this video is helping folks out. Hate to admit, but this vid is the number 1 on my channel by far, all those 'lets plays' I did seem to be useless but then again, I'm a streamer first and youtuber second (skill wise, editing is actually difficult for me)
So this is as close to a 'guide' that I've ever done and it did great.
Cheers for that
(one last thing, debating doing a new vid on Star Valor, I know the game got a few new updates, seems people want more. Hrmmmm)
Man I don't get to catch your streams as much anymore I forgot how much I enjoyed your content. Keep it up Ban! Animal best muppet! Attagoose :-D
Glad you're doing well man, and thanks for the comments, also ANIMAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAL!!!!
great video, learned so much- not very good at video games. Just started playing and I like how relaxed the mining is! Look forward to more content :). All power to the cookie monster.
COOKIE COOKIE COOKIE IS GOOD ENOUGH FOR ME!!!!!
Great tips. thank you :)
just discovered the game, and really having fun with it.
thanks man, great vid
Thank you!
Cheers!
Great job, really enjoying Star Valor myself after watching your streaming of it
Thank you for the nice compliment, hope I can entertain you for years to come, Cheers!
I'm late just found out this game and watch the whole thing, thank you Tamir 🙂
Thank you for watching and thanks for the nice comment!
Great video. Loving this game its nice to see more of this type content coming out for it.
VERY solid guide, thank you so much for that! :D
Np, glad you found it useful
psh the count....easy day all day. Good video, I bought the game and am looking forward to getting into it. you put out alot of good info. Thank you.
Glad I could be informative and hopefully I'll be able to entertain you for years to come! Attaboy awarded!
When you said I like to do videos on complex games, at that moment I decided to subscribe.
Thank you for your work.
In Rust we Trust, Minmatar Overlords.
In RUST WE TRUST!!!!!
thank you great extensive look at this game very well done!
Thanks for the compliment, glad I can entertain ya and I hope I can do so in the years to come!
Welcome back!@@Banlish
Could you make a playthrough of this game?
Great video. Thanks man. It took me a few tries before I got hooked on this game. But I agree it's great.
Np, you probably have a 'new' play through by now where you didn't make even a 1/4th of the mistakes we all did the first time through!
snuffleupagus great video keep up the good work!
Attaboy! Snuffleupagus was so damn cool, and thanks for the comment, hopefully I can entertain you for years to come!
I wanted to add:
For ship enhancements, a ship may have one tier 3, and two tier 2 maximum, even if you have more slots.
Thank you!
@@Banlish As for the individual enhancements:
Tier 3
Armor 150/10% is good on every ship.
Tier 2
Armor 8% is more useful the bigger ship you have, and is useless on small craft.
Weapon cooling/ Heat generation I already mentioned
As for Tier 1, all of them are useful, depending on your ship's role, and many of these lean to favor small ships over large.
"I won't beg you to like or subscribe. I'll earn it."
Subbed without even getting into the tips yet lol
Was taught long ago, no one gets a free lunch, if you work for it, you'll also respect it more. So it carried over into my streaming/Twitch stuff.
Please let them coming. You are great!!!
Thanks for the kindness!
Probably would have to be "The Count" ^_^ on SS for me. Good video deserves a sub for sure.
1 more subscriber HA HA HA, and +1 attaboy for going the distance on this vid, I really hope I can entertain you for years to come with list videos like this and maybe even the other work I do, Cheers!
Got this a few weeks back I had a great time. 100hrs in and got my monies worth but that's after unlocking all the backgrounds and most the perks.
Heck yeah, and the dev is fixing items and adding new features. Can't wait to get more AND new features eventually.
This was great.
The spoiler stuff wasn't very spoiler either. I was worried it might be like the salvaging free capital ships 20 minutes into x4.
man you give us RLY QUICK the infos we need in 1:50 Hours. Holy shit man. I have safe so much time now.....:P^^ that was to quick man....
Haven't played this game yet, but giving a like and sub for the good video.
I've been playing Cosmoteer, and think I'll give this game a try now.
Gotta give Cosmoteer credit, played it too and my lord was it good, not as good as Star Valor, but a game I sank almost 25 hours into on stream?
Animal of course. And I don't need an atta-anything. :) I watched the entire video and learned a lot an got a lot of insight. Thank you for all of your work and help.
Oh, and curse you because now I have to restart to fix a lot of my mistakes from before. :)
Really helpful stuff here. Thanks.
Might be more coming, there's a project in the works is all I can say ;)
Question about Crew(Gunners):
Is there a way to tell Gunner(s) to hold fire when near like a station.
Have fun!
Good info I'll be putting some of this into the next video, Thank you Eric!
lol 1 hour video of things wish new before
Have gotten spotlights from tinkers workshops that are purple, and their brightness is amazing.
I'll have to put out a correction vid to show folks, but it's good that people caught that
NOthing wrong with that, long as you get it, many people don't know you can put on 2 or 3 tractors to have a bit more control and power when tugging
@@Banlish my biggest issue is fitting the ships. I am also an Eve player and that is the hardest part.
@banlish.. What happened to the quality?? 360P only..6:20ish missed the S in Saving
Pause it, come back in 10 min and hit F5, see how it works, sorry about that, YT being slow today
keep it up man! awesome competent
Thanks for the kind words, and I'm glad you liked it!
Great list man, look forward to your future content! ----(Cookie Monster of course)
Good guide! I learned a lot, thanks.
No prob, hopefully I'll be able to entertain and inform ya for years to come, Cheers!
6:35 maybe they canged it-you can now quicksave wih F5, even if your ship is docked.
Yep, you're 100% right, they showed em that the day OF the video going live and I was like 'oh man..'
