Absolutely, I'd forgotten what a monster Howe is and had never heard Mohini Dey before on bass...she is crushing it on this set! She's got such insane technical skills but never lets them get in the way of the groove. Completely gobsmacked with how she lays it down! Marco is mindblowing as well. What a pleasure! Loved "Tease"-Howe has always been magical player! What a trio--always nice to hear some vintage Holdsworth off of the 'Believe it" Williams album. Man....outrageous...

Dey is so hands-down brilliant. And I love the relatable moment at the start when they're about to kick off and she realizes she's not plugged in. :) Then they take off together beautifully. What a stellar trio. Howe has been amazing right from the start and has maintained such a high standard right through to today. One of my fave guitarists for sure.

She has such technique it's insane, but the groove is never lost-she's a master for sure. I saw her playing a Coltrane solo note for note on another video. THAT was jawdropping. Man, you're right Howe has not lost a thing, what a pleasure to hear him! High standards maintained indeed. On top of his absurd chops of course he has a wickedly nice vibrato. Love it. This trio is totally on fire. Marco the drummer is killing it as well. Astounding...
This is the best trio in the world right now. Period. Very entertaining Greg's arm looks like Arnold during Predator Mohini has many souls in her, a beautiful sight. I don't know drums well, but whosoever behind that blue drum set, I mean world class, right They are dialed in Come to San Francisco please !!❤

I can't even tell you how many times I listened to Greg's first few albums when they came out and became a super fan from the start! Incredible innovative playing with great songs and then add in the vocals from Alfred on Howe II...awesome!!!
This is just fenomenal level of musicanship, the groove is soo good and great chemistry between musicians. Mohini is on fire, Greg is just a throve of musical ideas, and Marko is gluing it all together. I wish I would listen to this live, thank you for this great footage with good sound.

The first song shows how far ahead Greg was when this came out and still stands his own with the new shred generation. Ostro, Mancuso, Henson & co don’t pull this in length of variation.
