In this edition of Tarikh, Nikhil narrates the story of Fibonacci series and it’s Indian Connection.
A famous Italian Mathematician Lionardo Fibonacci introduced Fibonacci series to the Europeans after studying Indian Mathematician’s books. After his book, ‘Liber Abaci’, was published in 1202, western countries stopped using roman numeral system for calculations, and opted Hindu-Arabic Numeral System. In this episode of Tarikh we explained why the Fibonacci day should be celebrated in the name of Indian mathematician Pingal too. We also tried to describe why Fibonacci Series is such famous.

Nice, he is amongst very few honest Scientists/Mathematician who accepted Indian/Bhartiya connection. Bhartiya science, mathematics and astronomy was way advanced and still in use but never recognized as someone already named it after themselves

But there is difference in the fractals and this fibonacci series..... If you see more you zoom in the particular drawing that geometry repeat it self but in fibonacci extension of geometry repeat them self

Poles lie at 6356 and equator at 6478 km from assumed center of the Earth. The ratio is around 1.003. Moreover Earth is not a ball but a Geoid. Please stop spreading misinformation.
Secondly longitude and latitude of Mecca is 21 N and 40 E. So the ratio is 1.8 and not 1.616. Please stop spreading non sense.
Secondly what is UGC Award.
Well done anon. In the past there was no place called Mecca . If any it was Petra which is located in modern day Jordan

I like your program. There is always something new to learn which is very different from my field of study and work. But I know little maths so wanted to correct the fact.
Fibonacci series starts with zero. Because to get next number in series previous two numbers are added. So series go by 0,1,1,2,3..... so on . Hope your researcher will take a note.
