Hi. Have you got an idea why the small screen wouldn't show the battery state? It does show the voltage, but the battery icon is just empty. BMS is set to the number of cells and has no faults🤷♂️
Awesome 👍 happy to hear it’s all working. Sometimes, depending on the firmware version loaded to the BMS, there are various bugs with certain features, and sometimes as old bugs are fixed, new bugs appear… and I think there was a firmware version in the last that affected the screen display. Thankfully this wasn’t your problem… glad you are sorted out 👍
Have you tried the inverter BMSs' in parallel, and then try to see them all in PC software v2.7.0? The CAN connection to my Victron Cerbo works well with my 4 JK BMS's
Hi, yes, the JK Inverter BMSs are running in parallel and at the same time, I was able to plug in the USB to RS485 adapter and use the PC software to view the data. No settings could be changed but I could see the realtime data for both batteries (address 0 and Address 1). The data seems to refresh every 7 to 8 seconds. The only data that was not working is 'Battery Capacity' and 'Remaining Capacity'... both showing zero on the PC software but showing correctly using the phone app. SOC Percentage shows correctly on PC software though.
@@jcgcs Hi Jacco, thanks for your comment. Are you referring to the large touch screen normally having one cable that goes to the BMS? I know the small screen only has one cable but my large display needs to be powered separately... maybe mine is just an older model screen.

I haven't tried anything higher than 12v so not sure how accurate that claim is. It also claims that at 12v, the screens current draws is 116mA. I've also heard that the 'always on' function for the small screen has been disabled by JK... supposedly because the smaller screens were failing when powered on all the time (I can't confirm this though). The documents for the small 2.5 inch screen indicates that as soon as discharge is greater than 0, the screen will turn on. As far as i remember, both of my 2.5 inch screens (plugged into the Inverter BMS) turn on when the charge or discharge is greater than 0, but they do turn off again after a while.
