This had me in stitches. Seriously though, this is why muggles and wizards can't mix in the stories. One SAS sniper could've ended Voldemort's Wizarding War pretty quickly... Probably a big reason why Fantastic Beasts didn't do as well as expected.
Okay so keep killing him over and over again from dozens of miles away where only a scope could even hope to see the sniper and make sure to get all the followers so he can’t get a new body and just in case launch a smear campaign against him
@@shadowpup3016 That wouldn't work either, first off Voldemorts Horcruxes aren't a 1 time use, as long as they exist he cannot be killed. The Horcruxes can only be destroyed by extremely niche magical means, so guns wouldn't help you there. As for killing his followers, he has hundreds of thousands, you'd be dead before you made a dent in their numbers. As for stopping people from getting him a new body, that won't work either as Voldemort when his body is destroyed is able to survive as a Ghostly apparition, thus being able to talk more people onto his side if need be.
Admitedly, there would likely be spells that make you immune to physical damage which would make firearms useless, the work around would be to maybe enchant weapons that shoot magic bullets? I dont know, maybe you can make it so that rather than enchanting firearms you have to enchant individual bullets which would make it a pain in the ass and therefore less OP.
@@danello9091 Not all magic systems need incantations, i cant remember the specifics of the magic in the Harry Potter world, but in a more general magic world there are likely ways around this, like divination spells which usually focus on information collection and awareness, if you have a magic world with fire arms, magic will likely adapt to that scenario, also, an ambush gives you a huge advantage regardless of the weapon you are using, that is not specific to firearms, in a lot of fantasy worlds mages tend to be targets of assesination, specially during wars.
The problem is that it's never brought up in the books, so we can only guess that there's probably some kind of counter for guns, even if they made it for muskets or something since wizards don't really keep up with tech development.
There's a mod for this for Hogwarts Legacy that looks so cool in the motion of the combat. Someone's also working on a sound effect mod for the spells to go with it, and it's definitely possible as there's a couple of other sound replacement mods already out.
I mean that's basically what they are. In the Hogwarts Legacy, they accidentally made the positive claim of concealed carry. A part where the henchmen appears in the pub trying to cause trouble and suddenly every patrons stood up and took out their wands. The henchmen were basically outgunned. It was one of the most peaceful surrender. Proving that arming the populace can bring peace.
The difference there is that all those folks in the pub were at least trained for multiple years on how to work their magic so they won’t be a menace to the populace. Some parts of the US you’re allowed to own and handle a gun in public without training.
@@Amainville93 I think the sheer quantity of guns was what would cause someone to not open fire in that case, not the fact they were all trained. In fact one person wouldn't know that even the majority of them were trained for years, just that they had wands and were willing to fight.
I would think Avadakedavra is their version of a quick gun shot, albeit a more permanent 100% effective one that will kill the victim no matter where it's shot at. In this case, the wands 100% more effective to do big crimes with.
They can only kill if you know the right spell. But the kids not having wands is actually worse. The kids without wands could kill with just a mere thought.
Wait until he finds out that there is a real movie in which Harry Potter really does have guns named "Guns Akimbo" with the original Harry Potter actor, Daniel Radcliffe
Even if you watch like Voldemort’s (whose suppose to be a top tier sorcerer) and notice things like reaction time + spell changing + wand swiping you’d notice wizards are sitting ducks in front modern guns. John wick has enough time to put 3 bullets in his head before he can finish a spell

The *cool* after shooting is always so hilarious.
0:59 laughing hard here.
This had me in stitches. Seriously though, this is why muggles and wizards can't mix in the stories. One SAS sniper could've ended Voldemort's Wizarding War pretty quickly... Probably a big reason why Fantastic Beasts didn't do as well as expected.
Keep in mind Voldemort had a grand total of 7 1-ups in his back pocket. No amount of gunfire would kill him entirely.
@@megaman37456 Just need an 8-round magazine...
@@LoremasterYnTaris That's not how it works...
"You're a Gunslinger, Harry."
That's why you Glock the wizard before they throw up that protego, else they're gonna need a kevlaro
You can't cast a spell faster than a bullet reaches your skull if you need to incantate it first
@@danello9091 Not all magic systems need incantations, i cant remember the specifics of the magic in the Harry Potter world, but in a more general magic world there are likely ways around this, like divination spells which usually focus on information collection and awareness, if you have a magic world with fire arms, magic will likely adapt to that scenario, also, an ambush gives you a huge advantage regardless of the weapon you are using, that is not specific to firearms, in a lot of fantasy worlds mages tend to be targets of assesination, specially during wars.
Yeah its so simple just enchant bullets to do physical and magical damage.
The problem is that it's never brought up in the books, so we can only guess that there's probably some kind of counter for guns, even if they made it for muskets or something since wizards don't really keep up with tech development.
This video is absolutely legendary. The editing is so GOOD! The American flag at 2:10 is just the cherry on top.
Didn't notice that one before. What an amazing attention to detail
I wish I could have at least 1% of Asmon's enjoyment
It's easy. Just don't use social media and that's it.
maybe 1% of his money would help with that, lol.

When Neville got shot i lost my shit. I was burst out laughing on the floor 😂 it was unexpected 🤣🤣🤣
I shouldn't be out of breath from laughing at someone being shot out of the air mid quidditch game but here I am.
“Dirty-Harry Potter”. You feel lucky Voldemort.
"If Harry Potter was American" is always so funny! 😂
Harry Potter but it’s in the US instead of the UK
everyone is dangerously overweight and the grand bathroom is Gender Neutral. everyone identifies as Toasters and F-150's
HIGHLY underrated comment.
Thats why there is an USA flag at the end😃
Happy to see others enjoying certified hood classics like this one.
Ok, *NOW* I'm willing to watch Harry Potter.
There's a mod for this for Hogwarts Legacy that looks so cool in the motion of the combat. Someone's also working on a sound effect mod for the spells to go with it, and it's definitely possible as there's a couple of other sound replacement mods already out.
Of course someone already made a gun mod
“You’re American Harry.”
Bro that Quidditch match got personal *real* quick 👀
Funny thing about this is that i was told that the same person apparently remade the entire first film with guns, and this was the trailer for it
Now the Harry Potter movies make sense! It IS incredibly irresponsible to give pre-teens lethal magic.
To be fair, that is basically what they did in the series, pass out deadly weapons to children for use in their schoolwork.
No, not really
"Your a Gangster, Harry"
Idk if someone already comment this here.... But I had to be sure it was said lol
Omg when hermione twirls the pistol after shooting Neville
I mean that's basically what they are. In the Hogwarts Legacy, they accidentally made the positive claim of concealed carry. A part where the henchmen appears in the pub trying to cause trouble and suddenly every patrons stood up and took out their wands. The henchmen were basically outgunned. It was one of the most peaceful surrender. Proving that arming the populace can bring peace.
Curiously enough if you go to the website of this trailer it's full of anti-gun BS.
I’d pay money for the whole series of movies to be redone like this
The whole first movie is redone like this, you can find it pretty easily if you search online
When you think about it, giving wands to kids in the Potterverse is worse than giving guns to kids here. Those wands can kill and do a lot worse.
I would think Avadakedavra is their version of a quick gun shot, albeit a more permanent 100% effective one that will kill the victim no matter where it's shot at. In this case, the wands 100% more effective to do big crimes with.
Yeah but like kids don’t know these spells meanwhile everyone knows how to press a trigger
@@stiegelzeine2186 they are in literal text books in the library.
@@stiegelzeine2186 What spells? You can kill ANYONE almost like with ANY spell. Those things are dangerous
They can only kill if you know the right spell. But the kids not having wands is actually worse. The kids without wands could kill with just a mere thought.
When every single spell becomes "Avada Kedavra" 😂
This gives defence against the dark arts a whole new meaning.
Wait until he finds out that there is a real movie in which Harry Potter really does have guns named "Guns Akimbo" with the original Harry Potter actor, Daniel Radcliffe
Hermoine just straight up executing Neville.
I would go to the theatre and pay money to watch this edit.
This is better than the original harry potter honestly
Okay the quidditch shotgun is the hardest I've laughed in a good couple weeks
Edit: and it immediately gets beaten by the Neville bit
1:39 the execution 😂
I loved the part when Hermione just went full trigger happy and said "Say hello to my little friend." Sends shiver down my spine.
*_There was an Bakshi animated film from the 70's called "Wizards" that addressed the whole Guns versus Magic Spells debate._*
*_Spoiler: the superior wizard gets gunned down by the inferior one. Tree-hugging Elves have a bad time of it too._*
The timing is amazing. I just rewatched a few scenes from Harry Potter with Guns earlier today!
Potter : I need something robust. Precise.
Ollivander : AR-15, 11.5-inch. Compensated with an ion-bonded bolt carrier. Trijicon accupoint with one-six magnification.
