      Clickbait title, I agree. If it says "Argentina" or "South America" and "tractor" in the title, it's gonna be about John Deere 730 high-crops...

    I had a ford jubilee but wife got sick and I was an hour away from any hospital and had to sell the farm and move to town. I did not mind the selling of the farm but almost cried when I sold the tractor.

      Yeah, I have a jubilee amd I love that thing... Personally I like my Massey to35 better with the high and low in transmission but that jubilee is definitely a keeper

    Gee, this video gives you ideas--how cool would it be to have an hour-long documentary about tractor and engine hunting in South America? Who knows what's down there in the back of beyond?

    I believe the most impressive tractor in this video is the one in the thumb nail. it is old and worn out but still running and doing it's job. the worst looking tractors are bought, used little and sit in a garage. a tractor is a tool that should be used for it's intended purpose, not a toy to be waxed and fawned over.

    • @farmerboybill
      @farmerboybill 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Most older tractors are so obsolete that their use is very limited on modern farms. This 730 won't even turn larger augers, let alone go to the field and do tillage or wagon hauling. Until this past year, I was using a 60 to move feed, but have retired it even from that. So the only option for a lot of them is to sit in a garage and be fawned over, or driven in a parade, or turned into a puller. Beats being scrapped.

      My grandpa was using an old H for brush hogging and snow plowing/road grading and would still pull hay wagons just fine... Id think a 730 would still have a lot of use even pulling a 4 bottom is better than nothing for small acreage

    I’d love to travel were he went I bet I could find an old John Deere or something like that with all the original factory implements that you could get for the tractor sitting next to it if I could get a couple atleast of the same brand model tractors. One with all the implements like I said I would be in my glory but if I could find a bunch of the same model That I can use for each employment and one left over for a Haywagon I would be drooling
