@@zuzu6864 Light's fate was sealed from when he first met Ryuk: Ryuk told him then that he'd be the one to eventually kill Light by writing down his name. I guess over the years Light's ego made him forget that one detail, namely that Ryuk was a true death god, not Light, and that Ryuk only allowed Light to live for so long because he was good entertainment.

I thought they already knew about it because the guy actually pronounced “Yagami” right. A lot of people who haven’t watched the show butcher the name a little bit.
Ngl I felt really bad for ray cause he was forced to unknowingly write his coworkers names in the death note (sheets from the death note) meaning he killed them but since he used the death note bro doesn’t get to go to heaven or hell for eternity
All jokes aside it’s a really good story yall should check it out. They made a live action Netflix show out of it too but it wasn’t all that good lol. If they took it more seriously they could make a real good HBO show or movie out of this
