    Robin thank you for this video!! It definitely helped a lot with my decision to come to Tsinghua. I arrived 10 days ago and can confidently say I've made the right decision. You inspired me to share my semester at Tsinghua on TH-cam!! I want to let my audience live a dream that millions could never achieve. Keep creating bro! 😃

    So jealous. Tsinghua University is not only the greatest uni in China, but also the top in the world. It ranked 14th in the world. I really want to do my bachelor there but it’s impossible. Since full-time students there need to pass the Gaokao.

      China's top university is only 14th globally... Pretty embarassing.

      @@wageslave387 The world's top universities are in the United States and United Kingdom. Look at their number of Nobel Prize winners. Tsinghua University is very pretigious and is a top university.

      Thank you for watching. Your possible classmates are probably commenting in my videos aswell haha. I have couple friends living outside campus, more responsibility but also more flexible(unlimited internet, friends sleepover?). Still would recommend to get a dorm so you wont miss any activities.. ex. if your friends are planning for something small in campus or something.

    • @filomuzzi
      @filomuzzi 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      ok, thanks for the tip. how difficult is to get a room in the dorm? (foreigners have just the chance for zijing right?). anyway, which is the closest district in which to look for, wudaokou?

    • @RobinHe
      @RobinHe  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      I believe dorms are gone in 3minutes, so be quick. Wudaokou is the best yes

      Is there any tip you can give us on getting a dorm room on the registration day? Thanks Filippo for raising the question too!

    • @RobinHe
      @RobinHe  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      I was awake at 4am refreshing my browser. So nothing special here, just like any ticket queue system: Learn the registration system they provide, enter your info and move to payment module as quick as you can.

    Is it possible to study chinese (and maybe an additional subject) at Tsinghua university as a foreign student if you aren't participating in an exchange program from a university in your country? I'm considering going to China right after highschool. Also, do you know the enrollment requirements for foreign students?

    HI !! I'm actually starting my freshman year in august!! I have lots of questions to ask you!!! sorry for bombarding you but here are my questions.
    1. What VPN are you using to bypass the firewall? Like omg you are uploading videos and all so I'm guessing you are using a really fast speed one hahaha, it would be great if you can recommend one to me because I really don't want to miss out on TH-cam when I study in China..
    2. Do you have to move out of the dorm during the breaks? Are there any methods to have the same exact room for all four years?
    3. I'm aware that there are private rooms with ensuite toilet available in the international dorm.. Is it very difficult to get those types of room?
    Thank you so much and sorry again for bombarding you with this entire load of questions hahaha

    • @RobinHe
      @RobinHe  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      1. ExpressVPN
      2. As long as you pay for the dorm over 4years, they will not kick you out
      3. I believe full-time students have priority over exchange students. not sure. Just be quick with queue system
