K-Ross, I'm glad you were sitting down while reacting to "Magie". If you were standing when you started your reaction, you would be in the shape I'm in. I can best describe my condition as," Ow, ow, ow!!!!!!". My back hurts, my knees hurt, my old ass hurts from moving like a maniac (sorry, Maidiac) to this. I need to take some pain meds and take a hot bath after that.
When I first heard this in November last year, I never thought I'd enjoy this song...but I was wrong. The more I listened to this song the more I like it. It's edging towards "loving" it. It's the traditional Japanese summer festival sounding chorus and 70s-80s city pop combined with pure hard-rock making it sound different yet nostalgic. Basically Saiki's singing flute part in the chorus (which obviously many fans dislike). Now I can't get the chorus out of my head.😅
Darth-Mincho has struck once again with her 'dunklen Magie' and created a killer track that will surely create many magical moments between the ladies and their audience at almost all their future concerts. ❤🔥🤘🏻 _____________________ 「 _"Our rock never dies ever. Great reaction. I like the song but only heard it once so I need at least four more listen to grasp it, I’m slow that way. It will be fun see how many albums BM is will release before you catch up as it now is clear this is on the new album. It is kind of insane amount of music production, and I love it. Have fun!
I might have liked their Yokohama Arena version of this better, but I’m going to have to fire up my blu-ray player to check, and give this one another listen with my good headphones. Cool song, though. Love Kanami’s riffs. Glad there’s a version out there for people who couldn’t get their hands on a concert disc, though.
"Magie" is German, and means Magic. Saiki wrote lyrics of this song and put the title from German word. Way of read "Magie" is similar to "Maggy", but "gie" has stronger accent than "Ma" like "maGIE".
@@froopax1468 I love it that they used a german word for one of their new songs. The funny thing is, the songtitle "Bestie" could also be a german word when it´s pronounced "Besti-ye" wich translates to "beast".
Unreleased song, they do that often before it comes out on an album. Band maid proves again why they should be consider the best hard rock band anywhere in the world. Kanami never misses on the music she composes, almost amazing on how good of a composer she is. Great song but this is band maid, they always do great songs.
Come and chat to some lovely MAIDIACS in our Discord: discord.gg/cY4y9UZTTF

I personally think this version is way better.
How about checking out After Squall? They have a new release "20xx" dropping on July 25th. They a newer pop-punk-ish j-rock group

Yes, a drum solo!!!
I’m filing this one under “boisterous rabble rouser” right next to Play and Domination. But not until I catch my breath.
If it's the Japanese pronunciation it would be, (Mah-Gee-Ehh). If it's not it's probably either (Mah-Jee) or (Mah-Jee-Ehh).
Pronounced as Maggie, the Deutsch for Magic. Of course the French will say it as Majie. 😜

No fair skipping ahead :p .
