i also have a concern with this cabinet, how many racing games are fun? how many have we really enjoyed in arcades? i can count endless amounts of other games that justify my purchase but i only know a handful of arcade racing games that are fun. maybe i'm wrong and didn't experience enough? btw do u get the mario kart arcade game in this cabinet? if so that game is so worth the purchase alone. i don't know about u guys but i found the latest mario kart arcade game to be a lot funner and looks much better than the switch version.
run fact iircade is coming out with a steering wheel cabinet, but wats cooler is they also are developing an attachable wheel and peddals for current owners to add onto the cabinet, plus force feedback which they are rumored to have just signed daytona usa. pretty excited for that. this is also leaves open, having guns for the cabinets on iircade machines. i'm excited for that just because they have the sega license and i want virtua cop and house of the dead if they can make that happen but none the less this cabinet is pretty cool idea but i'd like a cabinet that does it all as well. if possible allow us to attach a wheel and remove it to play other games but who knows how that will turn out.
I don’t really believe so. These have a proprietary setup. I wouldnt risk it as I just don’t think there is enough to gain from force feedback given the titles…also, I think we have become so accustomed to modern force feedback that we forget it was quite a different experience on a lot of these 80s/90s titles…but hey, if you have success with it definitely reach out! Id love to hear about it. All games included are linkable as far as I know
$3000 for stand up and $4000 for sit down version and NO Force feedback? LOL No thanks. You could buy an amazing gaming PC , big screen 4k HDR screen and a top of the line racing wheel for that price. I guess if you don't mind the price it's pretty cool.
Yeah its changed. When you get it now, the 135 game model is what you get, so it is more than 130. Im speaking to what the consumer gets, while referencing what I have. Thanks for the comment bro
I cant agree with you there. As you can see this cabinet is host to a lot of games that are well beyond the 80s. It is not an 80replica cab. Nor did the 80s influence the design of the cab. It does contain some 80s titles, and the play very well. Once configured properly, it’s a pretty good feel.
@@kelvenguard I do have more than one cab. As I mentioned in the video. Also, like I mentioned in the video I like the feel of the steering wheel for certain games. Anytime you have that many games on one cab, you are going to have different feels for each game. Im not sure what led you to believe the standard was set by one of the few 1980s era games. Either way, I’m not looking to change out the steering wheel. Thanks for the comments
@@SoulforSale basically just restating my review at this point. It has paddle shifters and considering the game selection, a force feedback wheel would mean cutting the game list in half. Its not a racing sim. Its a retro racing cabinet and only select games had FF wheels. Adjust the games list accordingly to optimize playing. I personally have a seperate cab for force feedback games
Great review. I was wondering about the gameplay. I've heard mixed reviews but I feel like I have a much better idea now after watching this.
Glad to help. Thanks for the comment
Any thoughts on prime arcade vs creative arcades?
OutRun 2006 and Initial D for the win!
Absolutely!
Did you ever get two linked up?
Sweet pickup! Was that Retro Ralphs?
Yes it was. I mention that in the vid.
@@RETRODNA oh wow I must have missed that, that's really cool that cabinet is freaking awesome congrats

That didnt age well. RIP irrcade
Does it have Chase hq,poleposition 2 and sega rally championship?
Yes. I had to add Chase hq myself but the other 2 were on it.
Do u think a force feedback wheel can be added ? How many games are actually linkable as I’m thinking of buying 2 of these.

The lack of a shifter ruins the experience. Needs hi and low at least. Would be worth the price if it had a shifter.
Theres button functionality for the high low change and it has paddle shifters. Thanks for your comment
@@RETRODNA those paddles...behind the wheel?
@@SoulforSale yes
Is there any way to get techno parrot games on this cabinet from prime arcades?
Anything can be modified my friend
128 is not over 130 games, bro. They do have a model that has 135 though.

Can a forced feedback wheel be added?
In the words of Kevin Garnett, “anything is possible”.
@@RETRODNA ok, I guess I meant to ask if it was a relatively easy thing to do.
@@partaire22 i wouldnt really say anything about modding these is easy tbh
Does this unit have a game card that can be changed ?
No it does not
the Bottom line should be does it feel like the OLD 1980s Stand up racing games ???

Does this steering wheel vibrate?
Negative
Its kinda a joke that it doesn't have stick shift.
It has paddle shifters. Thanks for the comment
Was excited until I saw the price of these.
Right! Haha.
Its the price of 2 and 1/2 Arcade1up's

Don't buy!!! Scam!!!
Interesting. I love mine.
Their quality is crap. I have a bar top unit from them and it uses the Elf game board and the games play like crap
Thats unfortunate to here. I definitely don’t have any issues at all with the gameplay. Could be a one off. Thanks for the comment
Way too much. This stand up version is discontinued.
Ridiculous price. Just buy a cheap original arcade racing cab and outfit it yourself.
