I had pretty much given up to be honest and then I watch Matt face issue after issue and just carry on regardless and it really changed my outlook so for that I have nothing but appreciation for this channel 💪
Every time you solve a problem you’ve had on a vehicle you get excited and I’m right there with you feeling that extreme joy, I’ve done loads of work on cars from simple fault finding to complete engine rebuild and I know that exact feeling of overwhelming joy when you solve a problem and you have fixed your pride and joy. Hi Mat, nice repair job. Here some advise from a very experienced electronic design engineer. 1. Get circuit diagrams for this vehicle. 2. If you do not know what will happen to electronics, connect them to a regulated power supply with current limiter (iso. a big battery that will fry any faulty electronics). 3. Test as much as possible sensor inputs, before you start the car.
I don't know how you stay so positive throughout. I get anxiety just watching. Done to many projects when things like this happen and it's soul destroying. You'll get there and I can't wait to hear it raw!!
Don't be too hard on yourself matey, Lambo hasn't made it easy resurrecting this machine... Through getting parts and figuring out what was wrong with it. I have confidence you can make this legend live again. Can't wait to see this thing fire up properly. It's been a labour of love to be sure, and when she DOES fire up properly - and she will - it will be worth it. The journey with this one will be all the more sweeter once she's sipping petrol and back on the road! Keep at it, loving this lambo series.

Absolutely love Mat's work and efforts, but on this occasion I think he got caught between the UK venture and the US one and hurried the Lambo with the above result. Easy to say with hind sight. I cannot see how the cover plate will go back into position without slackening the heads especially with the new seals, I sincerely hope I am wrong. I look forward to Mat solving this problem and getting to drive another one of his dream cars. Best of luck in the USA Mat and return safe and triumphant ASAP.

Hi Mat, nice repair job. Here some advise from a very experienced electronic design engineer.
1. Get circuit diagrams for this vehicle.
2. If you do not know what will happen to electronics, connect them to a regulated power supply with current limiter (iso. a big battery that will fry any faulty electronics).
3. Test as much as possible sensor inputs, before you start the car.
I don't know how you stay so positive throughout. I get anxiety just watching. Done to many projects when things like this happen and it's soul destroying. You'll get there and I can't wait to hear it raw!!
Don't be too hard on yourself matey, Lambo hasn't made it easy resurrecting this machine... Through getting parts and figuring out what was wrong with it.
I have confidence you can make this legend live again. Can't wait to see this thing fire up properly. It's been a labour of love to be sure, and when she DOES fire up properly - and she will - it will be worth it. The journey with this one will be all the more sweeter once she's sipping petrol and back on the road! Keep at it, loving this lambo series.
This man is so positive! Even when he did something wrong and caused this oil leak, he had to remove the engine and rebuild it again.

Absolutely love Mat's work and efforts, but on this occasion I think he got caught between the UK venture and the US one and hurried the Lambo with the above result. Easy to say with hind sight. I cannot see how the cover plate will go back into position without slackening the heads especially with the new seals, I sincerely hope I am wrong. I look forward to Mat solving this problem and getting to drive another one of his dream cars. Best of luck in the USA Mat and return safe and triumphant ASAP.
