*the promise*.... also wanted to stop human trafficking(especially that of children) heard him and chester bennington were going to push this pretty hard. never heard of a suicide where hanging yourself on a doorknob bustes the back of your head and breaks 9 ribs on one side... thats a helluva doorknob.
I do think he's killed but the idea that it's because trafficking is far fetched to me. There are always reasons for why a artist might be on a hit list, and sometimes it's just for selfish reasons from a spouse or record label.
@crackerman46 All are hard to replace, Kim, Ben, Matt.....This is Greg Upchurch on drums i guess, and must say, like the others too, he dont do a bad job at all....im happy the SG's are together again.....:)
He had a powerful voice when he was in SG and he could hit much higher notes. He can't hit those notes anymore, therefore has to be more melodic. Damn I miss those Soundgarden days... I agree that he had much more passion for what he did.
Best live performance. Much more controlled. The heaviness is where it should be. Drums and guitar tone. Vocal raspiness comes from simply singing the song itself.
Sorry. I don't know his history so well but I did like the performance and I've heard him before. I used to be a choir boy like him singing "Mozart - Ave Verum Corpus". Now I'm a rock singer/drummer has been. I used to do 3 hour shows and at that point the rasp and tone came with the duration. Any way I'm sorry if I offended you.
Jon Powell I have to agree although he lost the raspiness he had in the 90s that made him a better overall singer since he had to sing more melodic. It's how amazing how much better this song is when there's backing vocals.
We'll probably never know the truth behind Christopher's death. But it gives me great satisfaction in knowing that if he was murdered then everyone involved well have to answer to god. And damnation in hell is eternal for for those involved. If he chose to leave us, which I really have a hard time believing. Then may he have eternal peace in paradise. I love and miss you so.
Still a great song... but we need the real band back and also the passion!! It seems that he's doing this because he has to.... And the band... well it's like being at the Hard Rock Cafe listening to a local cover band.....
All I can say is it a good thing he's famous. if my band played this song and I sang it without the raspiness, we'd lose all our fan base. where nobodies in Texas so ya really gotta belt it out. lol!
The bands just ok and Chris doesnt sound like the energy or excitement is there. He, or the performance, feels tired. Fav song but this version doesnt reflect his razor sharp vocals.
He lost the ability to hit the highs with that high whine he used to be able to so. He did it ok sometimes in live shows but never like he could when he was younger. His voice was always great but age limits all singers eventually.
Missdemeanour555 I'm not a brad Pitt fan but you don't just become a high profile actor you have to be good enough to be one. Clearly brad pitt is fairly talented
no offense to Soundgarden, but these guys sound way better than the actual band thats backing Chris. much more powerful and heavy. Matt Cameron to me always sounded like a light hitting jazz drummer.
It seems obvious he's a little off his game from even the final years of Audioslave..... I think he had reached a point in his career where it is hard to keep exceeding not only the public's expectations but his own. From his lyrics and demeanor you know he as well as many others in grunge were hoping social ills would be squashed, but the last 3 to 4 years have weighed heavily on so many of us who have such high hopes for humanity only to see it squashed by Fascism and Tyranny. IMO
Saw him live twice in Cincinnati, when he was on his own for awhile. I will never forget it. Rest easy Chris. I hope you have finally found peace.😞
Gosh he was gorgeous. Rip Chris. U r truly missed.
Man,I think they killed this dude. It's a shame either way,Cornell vocals are savage.and will never be outshined

@@robertmurry1442 what he said !!! 🤘😭

Yes in deed son, that’s a fact jack.
I do think he's killed but the idea that it's because trafficking is far fetched to me. There are always reasons for why a artist might be on a hit list, and sometimes it's just for selfish reasons from a spouse or record label.
The drummer killed it!!
he's got it right his own way
Fantastic voice!!!

R.I.P :(
thats just not the same without Kim, Matt & Ben.
R.I.P.CHRIS CORNELL

Pqp, isso que e musica...

Chris Cornell is Tony Stark's inspiration.
Best live performance. Much more controlled. The heaviness is where it should be. Drums and guitar tone. Vocal raspiness comes from simply singing the song itself.
Jon Powell are you serious? His voice is almost dead at this point. He even took lessons from Ron Anderson so his voice can heal.
Sorry. I don't know his history so well but I did like the performance and I've heard him before. I used to be a choir boy like him singing "Mozart - Ave Verum Corpus". Why would you apologize? You're comment's spot on!
Totally agree. This song is heavy af. Chris' singing is really clear and powerful here. LOVE IT
Not quite soundgarden, but O.K. Needs a touch of Kim Thayil

Stop with Qtard sh%%. Let him rest in peace!
This band sounds too nice compared to SG but this is a good take on this song and Chris sounds great!
The uncoolest period of the coolest guy
wrong XD , all the carrer of CC was brillant an artist cant play the same song 20 years XD , the shows of Carry On Tour was epic dude
No, you're wrong. Chris was always the perfect.
nope.... you're wrong
HOW?
notices pete thorn /,,/
Just a mean, mean, dirty M.F. sound.
👍Super👋garden👋🎸🎤🥁👍
Hmmm.
Love it
!!
But if you think about it he created Soundgarden clones.
These Guys ROCK!!!!!
The stories getting old now ...oh yeah!
Now you know
Chris could sing on key if he were half asleep
Soundgarden >>> Audioslave :/
These guys are neither one of those. They only have the singer in common.
Audioslave is better
@@gaspar-animal-ribeiro5414 lol I was talking about chris's bands not the show
@@nose-bleed oh, then I agree! 🤣
Picking side? Lmao, just enjoy both.

you couldn't come close to this just admit it
No doubt, this song is bland as hell without the raspiness.
Rip 😪😪😪
LOL fuckin dave grohl over there really getting into the drums
on this slow song.
crocodiliusz you can tell he wanted to fuckin beat the shit out of them 😂😂😂
? that doesn't look like Grohl to me. Better take another look.
RIP
The bands just ok and Chris doesnt sound like the energy or excitement is there. He, or the performance, feels tired. Fav song but this version doesnt reflect his razor sharp vocals.
I hate the empty faces in the audience
Probably cause how sleepy Chris sounds in this
Not the same, lacks the soul of Soundgarden!!!, Now you see just how important Kim, Matt and Ben are!!!
He lost the ability to hit the highs with that high whine he used to be able to so. He did it ok sometimes in live shows but never like he could when he was younger. His voice was always great but age limits all singers eventually.
memmorys from the pest years

They sound much more clean and crips than SG did live, but they also sound really watered down and bland.
**
Chris looks like Brad Pitt!
Missdemeanour555 hahahahahah how can he be more or less talented since they have completely different professions?
Missdemeanour555 I'm not a brad Pitt fan but you don't just become a high profile actor you have to be good enough to be one. Clearly brad pitt is fairly talented
with longer hair he looks like Jesus Christ

His voice sounds weak?
Compared to what? to god? maybe

It's amazing he didn't end it when he was fronting this band with that haircut...
Robert Mitchell what the fuck dude ..
I think you should end it douche bag!
I think Chris might have seen that video.
Fuck off
and that facial hair
