The upcoming generation of Katmai brown bears have a lot of learning to do. With moms guidance, they will carry on the fishing bears legacy at Brooks Falls!

I forget how much I miss them till I see your amazing videos. It amazes me how bears thousands of miles away, who don't even know the rest of the world exists can have such a powerful affect on us, a healing affect even, bring peace in the middle of an insane world. Thank you again. I love these bears so much. ❤️

What happened to 26's cub?😢😢 Does anyone know?
One coy passed away late July. He floated down the river by accident and was killed by a boar. The other coy was lost early September (I think). No one knows how as Mom just returned from a walkabout without her remaining baby. Broke my heart.
@jodyw7935 thanks for your reply. Both situations are sad for Bear 26 and her little cubs and those of us who follow the cams.
