- A high school football game took an unexpected turn when a cop walked into the stands and did something no one expected. What he did was two years in the making.
An Appleton police officer gave fans at a high school football game a bit of a show Friday night, a video posted by the department shows.
When officer Jack Taschner entered the stands it initially appeared that he was going to deal with an unruly fan. He then turns about and leads the delighted students in a "drive the bus" cheer.

I live in a town of 10k people we have 7 cops and the only times Iv'e ever had any contact is 4th of July they come by and watch our fireworks for a couple of minutes and remind us about the big ones and wink, take off just making sure everyone is being safe, God Bless us lucky folks that live in Mayberry USA...

This is so wonderful to see . It shows that police Officers can be down to earth and connect with young people .
I wish that more positive images like this would be spread around - instead of the negative portrayals often used against good Officers out there .

Perhaps you haven't heard about me ; I'm not some novice who goes online and writes a bunch of rhetoric , I know from whence I speak :
I am a former member of The Black Panther Party , A former member of The Nation of Islam , a former member of The Five Percent Nation , and a former gang member who has served time inside some of America's toughest prisons .
It was while doing time inside of a notorious maximum security prison in upstate New York , that I came into the realization that contrary to what I was being taught ; that it was the " White Devil " who was responsible for me being locked up , it was my ACTIONS that put inside that hell hole .
The crimes that I committed - as was the case with most of my teachers - were against other African Americans from my own community .

The Editor and Chief is Major Travis Yates of the Oklahoma Police Department , and Tactical Training Officer .
He is my friend .
In fact , I now have friends throughout the country from Law Enforcement ; also in the field of Journalism and Academia .
Do you have any idea what its like to go into a community where even if you mean well ; you're already seen as an enemy ?
That if in fact - you do your job - now you have to worry about losing it ?
You talk about " body cams filming the killing of unarmed citizens " . Who fed you this misinformation ?
Most of the killings recorded on body cams show Officers being disrespected , assaulted , shot at , and even murdered .
I deal with the type of people that have no aversion to inflicting serious bodily harm and /or death :
" Somebody run up on me yo , I'm clapping at that nigger ; I don't care if it's the Police . "
Officers fear for their lives out there ; black , white , or otherwise .
Communities such as mine are held under control by gang members young enough to be my child , because the people who live in it , fear retaliation if they come forward and cooperate with the Authorities .
Would you like to spend an evening in the world me and yes - " good Officers " have to deal with on a daily basis ?
I'll come back for you in the morning and gather up what's left of your remains ☠ ⚰ .
I respect other people's opinions , but not if they are going on about issues without looking at all the real facts .
I suggest you get into a Squad car and spend some time out on the streets with Police Officers - or find a real OG like myself ( there are alot of fake ones and those unqualified to lead young people in the right direction ) .

My local police dept was just investigated by the big boys and on national news they referred to that dept as "corrupt" and a " disgrace to law enforcement " so around here the vast majority are not good, that's what I was referring to, just my local experience., I did not mean to imply it was everywhere, sorry

Ok so far I do not know any innocent people getting killed by law enforcement. How about that citizen follow command s and not resist. How about that person that having a gun and fight back. How about the person was in commands and doing what they're told and not pointing a firearm for shooting at law enforcement.

@I am the King of the Poo People That's only a percentage of police. Yes, there are corrupt police, but most of them do their job and are not corrupt. These men and women go out and risk their lives every day to protect us and they get so much disrespect. Yes, there are bad police officers and corrupt ones, but most of them are NOT. There's good and bad people in every job and all walks of life.

Hey that’s our school cop Officer Tashner he’s really chill, I was actually sitting all the way to the left I wasn’t in the camera but I remember watching him. I think this was the homecoming football game. Also it was all over the news where I live.

Police are people too. They want to be apart of the community. There here to protect us. And this world we live in not easy. There job not easy. We should treat the police better it's our responsibility to help make our community safe.

Yep most cops get it. Some still have that make a name for myself attitude tho. Some beats are tougher for newbies to swallow tho and is mentally challenging. Problem is everyone hates them til they need them. Same with truck drivers. We are hated until disaster strikes and everyone needs us. Crazy world of ungratefuls out there.
