If I was judging a show, and these were the participants, I would 100% agree, you have picked the best kohaku. But for my own pond I would pick number 1, it has some kind of charm that I like about it.

I can understand! It's funny right that sometimes we differentiate with our taste on what a fish tells us. I have the same thing, sometimes I just prefer to go for a Koi that has a kind of charm like you are explaining. Thanks for sharing!
