I feel like they always underestimate the category the hurricanes gonna be at first they thought Rafael was just going to be a tropical storm it turned out to be a cat 3 why do they do that?
It makes no sense honestly. It’s better for people to prepare for the worst, instead of preparing for a tropical storm and a major hurricane forms instead.
@@starizstar5135 ya but can’t they predict that? The water are warm we’re it’s at no wind share and gfs has it barely being a cat 1 with perfect conditions makes no since
@patrick_axoltol the point of them doing that is because that’s what models say. MODELS CAN AND HAVE BEEN wrong, which means that EVERY forecast you get unless there’s a closed low; take it was a pinch of salt. This system could do the opposite of what tracks are saying and sit over the warm Caribbean waters and intensify like crazy. So only time will tell as it won’t have that steering current and can just sit and meander on the water instead of land
I'm watching this video from The Bahamas 🇧🇸🌀❤️
Appreciate the update!

Rapid intensification

@@italianball6653 exactly I know this won’t be a tropical storm or below when this hits Florida

Would Sara be a cat 5 hurricane if it ends up like hurricane Mitch?
I have a feeling the NHC is underestimating the intensity of this thing when they have it as a tropical storm the whole forecast period
Yeah, I agree. I think Sara will be a hurricane, if not a major hurricane.
Mitch was unforgettable; killed thousands!
This System reminds me of ETA, IOTA back to 2020
It looks like Sara will be the last named storm this year.
Unless the waters stay warm, allowing for future tropical systems to form.
Hurricane Mitch was terrible, so I hope we never get a repeat of that.
GFS and Euro in agreeance this far out is alarming.
