Her filming that video with the shoes under the bed is so dangerous for that girl. We all know what kind of reputation people will spin for that girl. The guy gets to be the stud and the girl will be tarnished through her whole school career. You know kids are already talking in the hallway and that’s not fair.

As a person who was abused as a child, it bothers me when people automatically attribute kids being polite and kind to parenting. I was a very polite and kind kid because it was crucial to my survival, I was attention starved, and I was programmed to always be looking for validation because in never got it from my "mother". If a kid is "mature for their age" it could be due to great parenting or it could be due to the kids having to step up and be the adults in their and their siblings' lives because of deadbeat parents. That is why you do not have more kids than you have time and money for.

Alot of kids who are abused are polite , almost to a fault because walking on egg shells at home becomes second nature . They are eager to please because they think if "I'm good mom or dad will be nice" . "If I do good mom and dad will love me" . Alot of kids who are abused at home and spend their days tip toeing around their parents will also lash out in school . It quite sad

I was a viewer of DD, but began to see everything you are discussing. Nothing green, very little fruit, and no fresh…anything. However, the final issue was when she was filling all the little paper cups with prescribed medicines and supplements for 6 of the children. Plus, discussing the medical problems about the children. Then, during her infamous hauls, she bought bottles of over-the-counter medicines for stomach issues. Carbs, sugar, and salt are a steady diet. I found your podcast and agree with what you are saying (maybe your language is very colorful, but content is 100%!)!

    • @KarleeM76

@susantharp1429 When I was first diagnosed it was FAS but it is now FASD. I'm not sure if I'm right, but im happy to be corrected. But my understanding is disorder implies it could be prevented or developed overtime. Whereas, syndromes are developed by cell imbalances and in essence develops whilst the baby is forming. The spectrum part makes senses because FASD can happen because of one drink or it can be heavy drinking the whole pregnancy.
On that note, I'm conflicted with how it's getting more attention, which is great. But, also concerned me because must mean more childern are being diagnosed too.
Watching how often she drinks does trigger me at times, because the baby is born a litreal addict. I don't think people understand the gravity of that.

As someone who was just diagnosed with food allergies and sensitivity, they do show up in blood work. They gave me the paper work where the blood levels should be and where I fell. From blood work, they were able to tell me I had a gluten sensitivity, lactose sensitivity, shellfish sensitivity, and walnut allergy

    • @jwoolman5
      @jwoolman5 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

Josh seemed to think sensitivity meant "fake". He's very wrong. If it reproducibly causes signs or symptoms under the same conditions - it's very real whether or not it involves an antigen-antibody interaction. Proteins are not the only components of food that can cause trouble. And non-food can cause problems also, such as pollen, mold, cleaning materials, pollution including car exhausts, perfumes and fragrances (artificial fragrances are an increasing problem, probably due to continuous exposure these days).
Alas, this is not just academic information to me, even though I am a chemist and so know more than most in relevant areas. I myself have food allergies and intolerances, am allergic to pollen and mold, get inflamed lungs from car exhausts and artificial fragrances as well as killer headaches from such exposure. (Nasal filters and charcoal masks have made my life much much easier...)
People can love the foods that are actually problems for them and symptoms can be delayed, which complicates tracking down problematic foods. But parents need to pay attention when a child has a real aversion to certain foods. They do not have the words or experience to say much more than "I don't like it". The problem could be taste (adult taste buds will respond differently), texture, smell, or the way it makes them feel physically. Even if allergies are not involved, pushing an objectionable food on a kid is likely to just set up a permanent aversion to that food. If you relax and realize the kid won't starve and avoid power struggles, the taste buds may mature to actually enjoying the food later. Just let them omit the food or offer simple healthy alternatives that don't require any big effort.
I had a lot of misery in childhood because my mother "didn't believe in allergies". For example, she forced me to drink dairy milk, which had both immediate and delayed bad effects on me. Ruined every meal. I clearly started reacting to it by the age of six. She tried to hide the milk in other things so I could get the vile stuff down, but that didn't prevent the aftereffects. I still cringe at the thought of the Nestle Quik chocolate-pushing bunny... I could get the chocolate milk down, but it still tasted awful and made me feel awful. When I had to drink white milk, I would get to a point where compliant though I was, I would refuse to drink any more. What she didn't realize is that I refused because I knew that if I took one more sip, I would vomit. Too bad I didn't just do that, would have saved me a lot of grief.
The elimination/reintroduction protocol she describes is a sound approach, but I don't understand how she can know all this and then feed her kids as she does. They have plenty of money to buy really tasty foods that are free of any allergens or gluten if needed. Excess sugar is definitely not a grand idea especially for kids having or at risk of developing allergies and sensitivities. (We tend to inherit that tendency rather than specific allergies, although dairy allergy tends to run in families.) Better nutrition can definitely help such kids so she isn't doing them any favors with a junky diet. So she doesn't even have to learn how to cook or bake, there are commercial products to help today.
The excuse that it's too hard to keep the kids away from problematic foods outside the home is baffling. Just reducing exposure is going to help, and below a certain age the parent has considerable control. Above a certain age, the child can learn about what foods help and what foods cause problems and decide what to do in such circumstances. The tendency toward such allergies/intolerances doesn't always vanish with age - the symptoms may just change to ones that don't bother the parent. Not uncommon for adults to get worse and worse problems if their allergies/intolerances have not been recognized and treated. And better nutrition at home will help all the kids even if they have junk outside the home, and it will prepare them for a healthier adulthood.
Most food allergies are not dramatic but if ignored can affect overall health and quality of life. Lord help any kid that wanders into her care that has a life-threatening allergy or sensitivity/intolerance of something that she insists on feeding everybody, though.

But at what cost? He's contributing to the bullying he should want to expose children but not want them to get bullied he knows he has a huge following and that they are getting bullied by their peers he doesn't have any concerns for that because he's profiting off of exploitation of children dressing it up as "saving the kids". They both are contributing to exposing kids for money. I can't wait to see how this turns out. Why are you telling them how to spend their own money that they earned? I watch her video because I like the shopping hauls and what do you have against children eating a treat . Why can't her children have any sugary drinks and treats why don't you exploit Walmart and Target for giving consumers the option to sugar. I would be damn if I let your audience and you tell me that my children couldn't have a sugary treat for my children. Halloween 🎃 is coming what you people going to give out cucumbers and celery. Not all sugar is bad there are good sources of sugar but you're not Alisha's parents and you don't contribute to any groceries that go into that home.

This all reminds me so much of John and Kate Plus 8- And they crashed and burned. Now the children are older and are speaking out about how damaging being on the TV show was for them. They were infants when that show started, obviously had no say in being followed around by cameras and having the good the bad and the ugly play out each episode. The marriage imploded and eventually so did the entire family. So sad that it keeps happening- but there is an audience out there just watching and waiting for the moment when it all falls apart. Thank you for shining a bright light on this woman- she is so toxic.

The so called suing letter is because she’s now scared imo what will actually come out .
No one but her is putting these children in danger imo
Of course people are horrified ! Have you actually watched your own uploads back lushy ? And if you have and see nothing wrong then in my opinion you need serious help !
Who has alcohol around these kids ?
Geez she is all about money not welfare of the kids just money .
The companies that give her sponsorships imo really need to look again at them .
Someone like this certainly wouldn’t influence me to buy a product in fact to be honest quite the opposite .

@10:47 "She Is failing these kids so badly....opening them up to addiction issues later in life" You are very, very right, Josh. I oughta know. I've got 3 different sober dates for 3 different substances 19yrs clean from Meth, Powder Cocaine and Crack 12yrs sober from booze and I'm 474 days clean today from Opiate pain pills. I had several traumas that were never addressed growing up, I'm a survivor of CSA and I've got PTSD, Major Depression Disorder, Night Terrors, OCD & Generalized Anxiety Disorder. Life has not been a picnic. My Mom did her best but when she unknowingly - She thought she was giving me a better life but I went thru he'll as a kid and I suffered my whole life. I first tried to kill myself at 10 years old. Tried to hang myself with a tie and used my flimsy coat hanger rack that hung over my door. The metal didn't hold up and I fell with the tie around my neck. I was so miserable from ages 8 onwards I never really had many happy days. I made people think I was happy but I wasn't. I had no siblings living with me so I don't really know how that feels like but I know my childhood was hell. I was bullied and pushed around and it really sucked. I really hope they understand that they're on a slippery slope with Alex and get him the help he needs before they lose him. Trust me, that kid reminds me of myself at that age and she's too consumed with her image of a perfect family broadcasted while her son is dying inside. This woman is such a failure as a parent. I also believe that her husband is pretty close to finished. You can see how he's not really happy.

So they couldnt get pregnant, decided to adopt via foster care, found a red head. Both taught.
So she adopted alex at 5yrs old (the found out he had fasd later)
Two weeks later found out she was pregnant with zoey
A year later adopt a 6 yr old james- same age as alex
Then found out she was pregnant with Dash (who is on the spectrum)
A year later had an emergency placement of the twins. (They were severely abused & had other problems- they never left & are adopted- and are less tge5n a yr younger then Dash- hence triplets)
A year later got pregnant with Brodi (also on the spectrum)
2 yrs later had Hardly Quinn
Then got Patrick & Bree from a group home months later(multiple disorders, physical, sexual & mental abuse. So this year zoey moved down from 3rd to 5th kid of 10 & from only girl to one of 3. Also bree & she didnt get along. And once zoey was born the number multiplied so fast & so many needs idk how any got what tgey needed)
Two years later took - neveah & deshawn. As a kinship- so they didnt even have to go into the system. Bc its not foster- but a state agreed apon placement & all other kids are adopted- she can film. Im sure she wouldnt have taken them if she couldnt film them.
Only zoey, Harley deshawn & neveah are without disabilities.

Regarding kinship placement: if you foster a child who was known to you previously, it is typically labeled as kinship. Kinship placements get less support and less stipend and so states are always eager to label a child as a kinship placement. In my case, I knew of my now adopted child before fostering him and because I disclosed that, they tried really really hard to label him as kinship. I was able to fight and won for a different type of placement. Just figured this could help you better understand that phrasing :)
And as a foster parent, I am blown away by what she does. Its hard to get kids on a healthy, track, but is very doable with patience. I had another foster parent do respite for my kiddo for four days. When he came back home, it was awful because all she did was feed him junk, coffee, Mac and cheese cups, etc. He went absolutely crazy and I never sent him back.

It really saddens me as someone who plans to work with special needs children that she is so horrible to hers. I know it can be trying, but it takes a special person to care for these kids and she is not that person. She signed up for it because she wanted to be a hero and she’s done squat. The only thing she’s done is make them targets and tell everyone where and how to find and meet them. There’s no way she taught the kids stranger danger, heck the teens are better parents than her but they have problems of their own, so it will only take a second for something to happen to one of her kids and it seems like we’re getting pretty darn close to the curtain opening on the truth for everyone, even her crazy fans, to see

In Ontario, Kinship Care is a term used when children are placed in the care of adults other than their parents, not adopted or in foster care. Often these other adults are family (grandparents, aunt/uncle, adult siblings are common), but sometimes can be friends of the parents. This can keep children connected with family and out of the foster care system. Often the local children's aid society is involved to assist with setting up the new living arrangement and connecting the adults with community and financial supports.

Kinship is still foster children but they are related. I raised 7 nieces and nephews as my kinship foster children. Foster laws still apply in New York, Indiana and other states. Friend adopted his grandchildren but he had them as kinship foster for several years until adoption became final.
First 6 children had FASD. That would include some of her biological children. She just gave away which children are FASD which is a HIPPA violation of disclosure of medical information without proper consent.

I kind of know how that feels it's kind of like when you never have money and all the sudden you have a big a big handful of it so you spend it cuz you're so happy you have something and then when it's gone you're like oh man this sucks I don't have anything anymore. And everything she buys them she gets money back on taxes so really she's not spending much and it's hard telling what she's getting for these kids monthly plus TH-cam so she's making a bankroll from all this and it's not right.

She never has a conversation, she only uses command language - get your shoes, hurry up, come here for your cream, help Bodhi etc etc. She never plays with them, she doesn’t engage when they make pizzas, she just films and talks about how much SHE does for everyone.
There’s no evidence of ‘family,’ in this house. The house is a mess, the kids are dressed appallingly despite all the new clothes, their hair is usually frightful but she’s spent time on herself.

I’m so proud to ‘know’ you and am so thankful that you are passionate about protecting children. It truly does take a village to raise a child and you are the chief. I’m so glad to know that you aren’t even fazed by the bs lawyer garbage she’s throwing your way. We are behind you 100 percent. Put up a GoFundMe now so we can be in your back pocket when you/if you need it. Thanks Josh 🙏 You’re an internet hero.

I am new and just wanna say THANK YOU! I feel exactly the same way. My son has ASD and I would never feed my son like she feeds her kids, No his diet isn't perfect but I would never bring this in the house even it was for my husband and I to eat. Yes he has the occasional donut or happy meals, and loves pizza but he doesn't eat all this crap she overbuys on a regular bases.

When I was looking up how much a Kona Ice party was I *did* see they advertised it as being 60% lower in sugar than most other icees or snow cones. Which is probably good considering that she loaded them up with cookie cakes and donuts. But it’s laughable that they’d buy sugar sun up to sun down and then be concerned for the last of the 15 things they ate that day.

She doesn't know how to bond with her kids. If she only new how much little ones love helping their mommas but she really neglects them. Also, has anyone notice she never shows the kids eating the healthy stuff? She only shows them when they eat McDonald's.

I got a sensitivity test done and it shows that I’m sensitive to the foods I eat the most and my dr said sometimes that’s what our body does. I’m sensitive to ( broccoli, pineapple, lime, asparagus) she said to eliminate them for 6months and start adding them little by little.
When you adopt and foster you should get a class how to feed healthy. If they are not doing it already.

    • @jwoolman5
      @jwoolman5 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

When you add them back, try not eating them every day. Maybe longer periods between. I can eat wheat if I don't eat it all the time. Once I get cocky and up the intake, I get my lovely persistent heartburn from it that won't quit. I also have to limit tomatoes even more or else terrible things will happen. Yes, my special treat is a big tomato!
It also helps to vary your diet as much as possible so you don't end up with more sensitivities. Hence my huge collection of nut and seed butters, so I don't become sensitive to my beloved peanut butter. Varying fruit and veg and grains and legumes is not a bad idea anyway, since the nutrients are different in each as well as anything problematic.

I am a teacher what she saying about school forms is not true. For example, my sister is vegan and raise both of her daughters vegan. All the teachers and schools they went to when they were young all knew about this. They knew not to offer them non-vegan food. Whether you agree with that or not, it’s not the point. I’m just trying to make a point that a parent is allowed to tell a school what their kid can or can’t eat you don’t have to prove from a medical doctor if they have an allergy.

I'm sure you saw by now, but she re-uploaded part 2 of the birthday party. Of course she edited out Josh's words, and Dayshawn's clip at the end, she re-recorded and had him wear a jacket that came up to cover the hickey. Lol.

The fact that people want to physically hurt Alex makes my blood boil. She has made him a target. I pray nothing even happens to these kids because these adults put them in the public eye.
I hope Pam has prevented her daughter from being shown on their channel, that's a mum protecting her child. The fact it was croc they are slip on so could be worn by a bigger foot. I think it is an innocent situation that lush wants to hint at being something else.

I'm subscribed to someone here on TH-cam that has 4 young children. She has said from the very beginning that she will not show her kids online. She has interesting content which features all things homemaking, cooking, decorating etc. I would say she has tripled her subscribership in just the last year. I really admire her. Her content is very entertaining and she's done it all without exploiting her kids....

I don’t understand why child services are not involved with this especially with the kinship children? I work in the uk with children in care and this would never be allowed. Love this channel! 💯can’t wait to watch this! Thank you for pulling the curtain all the way down on Alusha!!👏🏻It’s about time she’s fully exposed. Those kids need someone to be their voice and you are doing that for them, especially the younger ones who have no clue how much danger they’re in because of their mother and “go with the flow” father. The amount of over sharing, the excessive drinking and all the other red flags is crazy at this point, these kids deserve better then some money hungry alcoholic!!
Edit: I bet Lush is freaking out today knowing she won’t be coming back from this. I couldn’t be happier, she needs a wake up call’

She just uses excuses. When my daughter was diagnosed with IBD I sent her lunch with her and told her teachers. When there was a b-day party and they had cupcakes the teacher was so kind and gave my daughter an apple. That's all you have to do, send emails, go to the school, give them a list. I don't understand her logic.

    • @valtoton2982
      @valtoton2982 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

She wants all of the kudos but she doesn't want to do any of the work!
I was one one the people who sent Josh that clip in the beginning where Alisha talks about diets, I really couldn't believe her!
Personally I think if she stopped exploiting her kids and instead did her shopping and meals only but, personalized each meal according to the child's sensitivities instead an assembly line of dumping nothing but processed crap full of everything that triggers them, would be more interesting.
This would benefit the kids in more ways than one!
