All Suge had to do was just sit back and let his artists work. Pac was more than an artist, he was a natural born leader and he was working with Dr. Dre and Snoop, who both had the work ethic and creativity. That alone would've set the tone for all the other artists on Death Row and record sales would've reached astronomical numbers and Suge would've been iconic instead of infamous.

Suge did everything right. It was the local politicians, corrupt prosecutors, FEDS, etc that didn't like that Suge had so much power, money, and respect....so they destroyed his record label. In addition, it was 2pac that brought all that negative attention to Death Row. Shooting cops, rape charges, shootouts, fights, etc....all which got Suge in trouble and landed him in jail.
