Jim Carrey doesnt get enough credit as a triplw threat in Hollywood. He act, sing and as this scene demonstrates, dance very well. This choreo was complicated and required a lot of nuance. He really seemed like he was struggling under her thrall while he was killing the moves! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
They are all actors who can act like different things. People don't understand this concept. These actors are bred like horses and dogs. It's nepotism at its highest levels. They are probably made in a labe with the DNA of very talented people or a concoction of talented people. The elites poses the power to do crazy things with science. If we can now choose the sex of our kids imagine what the people in charge can do? Always these people are actors first then they act like whatever it is needed of them. Jim Carrey acts like a comedian. Jamie fox acts like a musician. Etc.

Love how well they do the mysticism of a vampire in this. You can see in his face from the emotion in it that he doesn’t wanna dance with her and he’s terrified but just can’t stop. Was a cheesy movie, but had good classic vampire traits in it.

Jim Carrey deserves way more credit as being a good actor. Very few people remember this movie being one of those first before you got into real slapstick comedy. Lauren Hutton being the drop-dead fox that she was as a model in the 80s definitely put in the great vampire. And Jim Carrey playing the helpless victim / virgin really made this movie come alive not to mention his girlfriend Karen coplin who also played a major role in making this movie great. Let's all give a great moment of silence to one of the great comedic actors of 80s Jim Carrey still love you stay funny

Yep. Back then teens always tried to look older than they were. Nowadays, you got people spending thousands of dollars trying to cling on to their youth. One thing though, regarding CHILDREN back in the 80s, kids were KIDS. They played with dolls and action figures, rode their bikes around the neighborhood all day. Today, ya got 12 year olds starring on TH-cam channels, podcasts, and/or Tiktok and investing their allowance on Robinhood like it's a computer game instead of blowing it on Dragons Lair at the local arcade.

The best part aside from the wicked dance off was the look on Cleavon Little's face when he sees the dance. That's not his character looking in awe, that's the man himself, a legendary comedy actor in his own right, whom worked with the likes of Mel Brooks, seeing the future of comedy going to Jim Carrey. He without words, passed the torch to Jim.
Once Bitten is the testimony of a hidden era when popular movies could have been also double-dealings through modesty and Jim Carrey, Lauren Hutton and Karen Kopins is one of the best trio ever.
