Just because the French have that whole meme about them surrendering doesnt mean that it applied to every single instance the French were in a fight. In all fairness, you are completely correct about Downturn. Hated that crap.
Adam Haywood Interestingly enough, while i hated Downturn because it was shit. I got my 2nd MOAB on downturn with the post patch Type-95........ Post patch..... when the gun was dog shit on a hot summer day
Jack The Ripper didn't really play much mw3 online but when I did I really disliked Downturn but liked the game overall. Never got a moab though, only 2 kills away then choked it
Adam Haywood Downturn was actually one of my favourite maps in Modern Warfare 3 because I always did well in it and I loved the look and atmosphere if it. I also got my first MOAB on Downturn so that's a similar circumstance and another reason why it's such a positively memorable map for me
I don't know why Black Ops 1 isn't liked too much. The maps were class, guns sounded and felt great and the skins/prestiges/created emblems always made it interesting. Plus the campaign is the best in any call of duty to date (alongside World at War which it continued on from).
aviationNC Black ops 1 is probably my 3rd favourite cod behind the first 2 modern warfare's mainly due to the zombies on it. Kino and Ascesion along with Der Riese from the 4th dlc are my favourite maps. The multiplayer was pretty good to. Only issue with it imo was the lag compensation bullshit that prioritized people with shite internet to be host but other than that the game was fine.
Treyarch CODs are just so much better. Black ops 1 is so good because the maps are amazing, the guns have recoil and for me the main point is that the sniping actually takes skill. When i play MW remastered i just get quickscoped 24/7 its so annoying. The only bad things in black ops 1 are motion sensors, ghost perk and Famas being all OP

i adored all of the maps in Black Ops II (except detour fuck detour) because they all had a fair layout. When you played objectives, both sides of the map were pretty even if you had to capture a flag or defend an objective. Encore was tricky but i had a lot of my nuclears on that map because it was because of people scared to go in the middle that you were able to get around if you had the accuracy to kill the campers in the windows. And hydro (a personal favorite of mine) was an amazing map due to the fact that it was able to be played with any type of weapon from sniper rifles to submachine guns to even melees. I believe Black Ops II was truly amazing due to this and the balance it had. Also big fan and love to see your videos pop up :)
Never bought any dlc maps and only really played world at war to any extent but dlc maps were constantly showing up in lobbies and were always instantly skipped because so few people had the dlc.
Black Ops was my first COD (and to this day one of my faves), I had all the map packs and played the game loads but I can’t remember Stockpile either. It’s so weird, like surely I would have played it at least once back in the day and remembered it
I typically prefer the dlc to the launch maps. DLC maps are more adventurous and willing to experiment. Really enjoy Fuel, derail, and Banzai. I like maps that could actually be real places. The worst maps are whatever the rust, shipment, dome of the game is. Leave the game when those are selected. If they were just a little bigger they might be alright. Second worst are 3 lane maps with no verticality or power positions, if you can't use a sniper and a shotgun/smg on the same map in different places, it's a bad map.
I can hardly remember Derail being skipped. Rust/Underpass/Karachi seemed to be skipped more, at least on PC. I kinda liked Stonehaven, although it looked boring. I believe I got my best streak in Ghosts on that map, so it seemed to fit my playstyle quite well.
MW downfall. WAW Cliffside. MW2 im sorry but Rust. BO1 Hanoi. MW3 sorry again terminal. BO2 Aftermath. Ghosts Stonehaven. AW Detroit.. BO3 Infection. IW didnt play..WW2 Gibralter. BO4 not sure of which one yet LOL 😁. Love ya vidz ya teapot
Infected on Stonehaven was an instant win for the Survivors because the Infected could never make the expedition in time to find the other survivors. As long as you stayed away from the castle, you won.
Stonehaven was designed for basically big team battles but those game types never made it so we had this huge ass map for normal game modes and it just didn’t work
Chasm gets downvoted in Ghosts more often than Stonehaven. I loved Stonehaven. It wasn't exclusively a snipers map, you just had to know the lines of sight inside out to rush on it, and as with many of the maps on Ghosts, knowing which lanes to avoid was mostly about the psychology of the other players rather than a good spot or bad spot. Every lane could be camped, and every camping spot had a blind spot on one side or the other. Optimal team balance on that map was 50:50 snipers/rifles. In contrast to cod ww2, where spawns can flip every 30 seconds, and there are maybe two power positions in a map, it was extremely difficult to flip spawns on Ghosts, and multiple power points and spawns were all over the map. The SPM was so low that when you got killed you could be fairly sure the opposing team was still in the same general area on your next run, and then it was a matter of guessing which lanes they would guard on your next attack, or where they were rushing to. So the sniping felt more realistic, because you really had to outsmart the enemy team. As opposed to other CoDs where you can just try different lanes and eventually achieve want to wanted, if you picked random lanes on Ghosts you'd just end up nowhere, with no-one to fight. All Ghosts maps were like this, just on Stonehaven it was more exaggerated. Old CoD players hated Ghosts because it was so different. But old and new players ALL hated chasm. Huge map, too many entry points for each spot, which eliminated both the psychology aspect of the game, and the high number of encounters you'd find on other games. Worst of both worlds.
the one time that Downturn was selected as the map that would be played next, the entire lobby quit and every time somebody would join they'd take one look at the map and immediately bail faster than the French at the Maginot Line...

Your comment about the rain in Scotland is spot on , I'm a glasgow man myself 😂
This man should not play 2019 modern warfare...
I'm going to give you a challenge explain to me why I'm map isn't Piccadilly or aire cave is bad
aftermath was god awful
I love Stonehaven
tom bob To a certain extent i enjoy playing it also. SND was well fun with my lads all running around with festive camo riot shields in may..
markipler 2 I agree with you there I always go running around on s&d with riot shield
tom bob fucking sniper map lol
It was good with an accurate, burst fire AR with a scope. Liked running the FAD extended Macs, acog and select fire.
I love it aswell
The worst map in COD history will always be VACANT. I also hated KARACHI on MW2. Insta skips for me.
At first when you said a couple maps I was skeptical but once you explained why you chose it, it completely made sense!
Worst CoD Maps ever: all Modern Warfare 2019 Maps.
What about shoot house
All of COD Ghosts Maps...
All of bo3 maps
Slick V all of BO3 in general...
Callum Penman can't disagree with that
Actually a select few were good
Especially Warhawk and strike zone
TheLoneWolf 204 bayview might be my favorite cod map (aesthetically) and didn’t play too bad either
I loved Derail personally, could always stealth a Nuke
Never bought any dlc maps and only really played world at war to any extent but dlc maps were constantly showing up in lobbies and were always instantly skipped because so few people had the dlc.
I swear in the years of playing mw3 i only played downturn twice. It was voted against so quickly
Its hard to listen to your english as a guy who doesnt speak english as first language
TEG GAMING MIXER he isn’t English.
@@thomasbell8451 they didn't say he is. They said he's speaking English, which is true.
every map in MW
*looks at thumbnail*
"I'll the judge of this" *keyboard warrior engage*
Man. Those CoD4 maps really were amazing. Good times...
I liked the castle area on stonehaven, and how you can close the gate, but everything else sucks
Didn't realise Frankie Boyle made TH-cam videos...
Xenotaurr best comedian ever😂😂👍👍
16k resolution
Whats with the 360p?
James Kirk whoa. Calm down. It was a genuine question. I have no idea why it's 360p. Hence the question.
+Andrew Dyble Its because youtube takes longer to upload HD/4K videos, so it uploads a lower quality version that people can watch
clean up on aisle hairline with your dead trim
MongChilde gotcha. Thank you.
Stephen Smith that doesn't make a shred of sense. But I like it.
Black Ops was my first COD (and to this day one of my faves), I had all the map packs and played the game loads but I can’t remember Stockpile either. It’s so weird, like surely I would have played it at least once back in the day and remembered it
Same, Black Ops was my first game, all map packs, I remember stockpile and it was decent, there wasn’t no bad black ops map for me personally
Use to love playing "stockpile", you would start the game and see who could get through the door and shut it first, killing one of your team mates
Nice accent mate
360p gang
Ratman
Ganga man
Ratman 144p 😢
Terminal in MW3 was good
Ajax17 Suki lol no. It was garbage compared to the original.
Jack The Ripper it was the same lol?
Jack The Ripper only a different colour palette
Julian Smit it wasnt. The spawns were completely fucked compared to the original. Anyone who play mw2 terminal woul know that.
Stonehaven isnt bad. It is a really cool idea. It's not nice to look at, but it can be fun. I enjoyed it.
All I remember about Fuel was the glitch to get inside the rock, because of that glitch I actually played Fuel quite a lot
New modern warfare piccadilly, and the palace map i hate those!!!
Infected on Stonehaven was an instant win for the Survivors because the Infected could never make the expedition in time to find the other survivors. As long as you stayed away from the castle, you won.
Stonehaven was designed for basically big team battles but those game types never made it so we had this huge ass map for normal game modes and it just didn’t work
Marley about WWII: I don't know why they did so huge maps
MW: hold my beer
Your accent is why I subscribed
Stonehaven may have been bad, but I remember being queued in it so much it felt like 24/7 Stonehaven.
