      @@jasonlin1316 Been there, so he's right. China still has problem with pollution.I thought SZ will be different, but nope. Bao'an district was by far the most polluted district 2 years ago, so was Longgang. And humid weather condition is doing no good to this issue. It was so hard to breathe! Chinese friends told me that sometimes pollution can 'travel' from neighbouring cities and just ends there being stucked for couple of days. I've seen those kind of days . My apartment and the rooftop of my building used to have black ash everywhere. Noone knew anything about it ,and noone asked any questions. Maybe the 'traveling' story is not always the case, but just an excuse everyone has to agree on. And let me not forget that I used to live on 40th floor around the same area in Longgang , so yes .Rarely I could've seen the clear view. And ,let me mot forget about my smelly laundry. I loved the idea of jogging in the park because parks are really so beatiful , but I had to give up on that as well because of the pollution and unfortunately go to the gym.

    I'll believe it when I see it. Anyone remember the big announcements of Nigeria's Eko Atlantic or Jeddah's Kingdom Tower and Dubai Creek Tower? All three were just as ambitious and all three have either been cancelled or postponed with little if any construction progress. China is not as rich as it was in the 2000s, when it built dozens of skyscrapers on government debt. It now has the largest debt of any country in the world by far because of this and can't afford to keep taking on debt like this.

  • @marcbiele8020
    @marcbiele8020 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    It looks good - from outside. But there are architectural problems: containment - simply think of glass-washing of the facade (with drones? - Dubai constructs temporary police-drones.) and the dangers: earthquakes, war-too easy to destroy, compare 09-11-2001. And economically and military the steal-deficits: to construct the Sears-Tower in Chicago, steal with which 54.000 cars could have been built (10.000 tanks), has been necessary. And steal is limited! And mobility is more important for economical growth.
    And to spare space, it is physically useless to create extremes. The whole city must be instead set up of a few more layers - for example: avarage 15 layors per buildung, now 30 layors, like in Paris (founder: Richelieue) or Moskau (after the burn in Napolean war, rebuilt as Paris). Then there is almost no widening of city-surface necessary.
    But at Frankfurt, we have already the same problemes!
