Steve Berry. One of my electronic GPs was spotted by him while we were walking in the centre of Imola when he was reporting for scootering. He asked me to come back the following week to buy it for him, so I did for the pricely sum of 60 quid. This was 1988. A couple of years later I was quite upset because he never came back to collect the scooter. Very different was then. I still have the bike today and he isn't much loved by the scooter fraternity as far as I can see. LOL
Nigel cox has sold it on I think to the editor of the SCOOTERING MAG and will be re-opening on the 10th of AUGUST with the scooter rally at the same time asell
Nigel was never short of a bob or two, When I met him (before the Museum) he had an old Rolls Royce that he used to hire out for weddings and stuff, I went racing with him a few times and he should have some footage of me racing in Cumbria ( I held the camera when he raced too) me and Ralph used to visit him a lot . . . .Nigel was a 'jammy' guy, he used to buy stuff off the shelf and it would work . . .I have a few stories about him too?
