WSFS I am going to have a rant. Your management are just bad. This video shows loads of white tops who have no idea what to do. Meanwhile the building burns. Loads of yellow tops not knowing what to do with themselves because the white tops have no clue. Hurstpierpoint and Selsey Academy might prove my point. I would not want to be a fire and rescue person with management as bad as that telling me what to do.
I have absolutely none. So perhaps I should have kept my mouth shut. Also I may have looked at the wrong videos. What I do know is that on most TH-cam videos filmed in the UK water is applied within about 30 seconds of the fire brigade arriving. It does not seem to be the case in WS. You may have a hydrant problem or you may have a water shortage. I think every fire and rescue worker in the UK is worth their weight in gold. When there is a fire people need to see a reaction from the emergency services. I did not see that with Selsey Academy. I understand not sending people into danger but please do not find it funny when someones child has worked for the past 5 years for it all to go up in smoke. I respect each and every one of you and would worry every time the bells went off if one of my family was a firefighter. You keep up the good work that I trust you to do.
I have none. What I do know is that in most situations across the UK water is applied within 30 seconds of arrival. Perhaps WS have water supply problems or hydrant problems. I believe that every firefighter in the UK and other countries are very brave people. I would worry about any of my family members if they were in the Fire and Rescue service. I also believe that is it not good public relations to have a substantial amount of rescue workers standing around doing nothing because the management do not know what to do with them. That is how it looks on you tube. It may not be how it is but it is up to you to inform me otherwise. No offence intended and keep doing the good job that you do.
I make you 100% right. I have a mobility condition and I cannot move around too much. If my home caught fire I would probably die because I cannot get out. I would like to think that they tried though before commending me to a very hot death. The good news is I do not live in West Sussex. The fire service where I live are completely brave absolutely fearless and often put their selves at risk to save people they do not know. I was not criticizing the firefighters. I WAS criticizing their management. All firefighters , ambulance and coastguard are very brave people who dedicate their lives into saving mere mortals like us. The police as well to a certain extent. Sorry if I offended you Conor.
